Casual but classy dining experience. Service was not as good as expected and it took forever to get our food. But the food was Excellent!
New menu since the last time I was there. Food was excellent.
Good food and prices are fair. Need a reservation because it gets busy on the weekend
Top rate Italian food. Everything is just so great.
Our server was Colleen who was just great it was our group's
first time with her and we will be looking for her in the future or Pollyanna who we all love. keep up the great service
Great staff .... good food .... our waiter was great forget her name though lol
This was our first time visiting Portocello and we will definitely be back. Service was great and food was delicious. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made our experience exceptional.
Food was delicious but we waited a long time to get served.
Absolutely wonderful! Great authentic dishes. Fantastic service.
Great food great service. As always
My friend that was with me needed gluten free food and the waitress (Sue) had no clue that there was a gluten free menu. I'm not sure if because it was busy that she was just not getting us the right answers. We will go back there but will not let Sue wait on us.
Great food and service.
We are big Italian fans! The Pappardelle alla Bolognese was authentic and rivals anyone's in the area. the Filetto Gorgonzola was recommended by our server and was done to perfection.
One of our new favorite spots! mangia
Friendly service....and my table was ready when we walked in where other places make u wait ten minutes
Have always had a great experience here. Only gripe is the wait is a little long considering we had a reservation but it wasn't that bad. Great food and service. You can see why they are busy.
It was a wonderful evening with great food, wine, and service. We look forward to eating Porticello Restaurant again.
❤️ Porticellos - great food, great atmosphere ... can’t wait to go again.
Great food, great service. Would recommend for any occasion.
Awesome spot! Found it on Phantom Gourmet’s website and ran with it. Great spot for a date!
The Gorgonzola filet is among the best things I’ve ever eaten. Everything about it was delicious.
Had Polyanne who was wonderful. Took my folks out for their birthday everything was fabulous!
I have been a regular customer at Porticello's for 15 + years since moving to West Bridgewater (nesxt to Easton). I have never had a bad meal there. They are know for their Italian food. The bread was fresh right out of the oven. My Mom and I both had veal parmigiana and angel hair pasta as our side. My Mom started out with some chicken tortelloni soup which she said was delicious. The service was great, the veal was tender and included a good-size portion of fresh veal. We had NO room for dessert. I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation. You should make reservations, especially on Friday or Saturday nights or if you have a large group. We have requested a table for 12 and never had a problem. The picture below was taken in front of Porticello's indoor Christmas Tree.
excellent food and friendly employees very atentive and patient
Just has dinner for 8 and we had plenty of space even with an intimate floor plan. Everyone had a great meal!
Salmon was perfectly cooked. Overall, very good food and service.
Fantastic meal with great service and fun atmosphere. We will be back....
sorry to say it, but i've been to Porticello a few times and have always enjoyed my meal, but this visit....... not so much. the meal started out fine. we were seated promptly and the wait staff took care of water, bread, drinks, and apps. and all was delivered pretty quickly. unfortunately, our meals took 45 minutes to an hour to arrive. the food was relatively warm, but 1 meal was way over seasoned with hot pepper flake. i decided to swap meals with my wife and i ate her meal as i have a higher tolerance for spicy food. we then decided to order a couple of desserts and after dinner drink. we didn't think 2 desserts and 1 drink would take another 30 minutes, but it did. at which point we were dissapointed again. our banana's foster take-off of a dessert which was the recommended option by the waitress a was so salty that we couldn't eat it. i hope it was just an "off night", because we'd like to go back sooner or later.
Our waitress was great dealing with 11 of us! Food was very good. Fun atmosphere and nicely decorated for the holiday season. Great for a special occasion friends get-together.
It was great. Good was excellent and service was great and the staff was very friendly.
Went to Porticello for the first time to celebrate my birthday with family. The food was fantastic. Our server was very sweet and professional . I will definitely be back.
Fantastic as usual! Really enjoyed the new brunch option.
The chicken parm was to die for and the calamari was yummy. Polyanne rocks, she always makes us feel great. The entire staff is awesome, keep up the great job!
This was our second time here and we were even more pleased then the first time
Our waitress was attentive and friendly
Service was prompt and the food was very good although a little salty
We will definitely go back
We have eaten at Porticello’s several times in the past but this was not an enjoyable evening. The restaurant parking area is tough to navigate and was at capacity. At 6:30pm the restaurant was packed with people waiting and still coming. We were seated right away but they had run out of menus so we had to wait. We were given an undesirable centrally located table near the entrance but there were no others available. The wait staff and exiting diners bumped our table several times as they passed. It was so loud that I told my wife that she had to shout otherwise I could not hear her. We both thought the food was good, the wait staff although over whelmed did the best they could, but the atmosphere will result in our thinking twice about dining here again especially on a peak night.
We split a butternut squash ravioli appetizer "special" which was good, but not outstanding, as it was extremely sweet. My husband followed that with a cup of the Tortellini soup, which he enjoyed very much. He ordered Chicken Parm which came with a choice of Pasta, and I ordered Lasagna, which I found came with nothing . Both of us thought the meals were acceptable, though the tomato/marinara sauce just seemed a little bland. I was surprised that even a small dinner salad was not included, so my entire meal consisted of a large piece of Lasagna on a plate. The Lasagna was huge and tasted ok, but was lukewarm, not hot. I would have preferred a smaller piece of Lasagna accompanied by a vegetable or small salad. I have had much better meals at Porticello's in past years, so just think it might have been an off night as far as the sauce and meal temperature went. As mentioned, nothing really wrong with it, just a little tasteless and the temperature didn't help. The bread was very good. Next time I will be sure to read the menu more closely, though, and not save a piece of bread to eat with the salad that is not included with meal.
The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, a small place, simple rather than elegant.
Our sever was attentive and prompt, wine list good and the menu substantial. I had seafood fra diavlo which was fresh and well prepared. She had risotto florentine that she described as 'pretty good'. Appetizers we had bruschetta that was slightly disappointing with hard orangish tomatoes, but still nicely served. Shrimp cocktail was nice and came with extra horseradish. Caprese salad also with tomatoes that did not impress but the balsamic was good and mozzarella excellent.. I little light on the basil.
Dessert was tiramisu which is very good and espresso, both of which came out very quickly and were well done too.
We will be back, a satisfying meal, good ambiance, good food, good service.
Excellent food, excellent service. Brought friends who had never been there. They were both very impressed with the food as well as the value.
I asked to not be seated near the front of the dining room near the bathrooms due to their chlorine smell. The hostess walked back to her computer and said they were booked up for the night and this was the only table. Meanwhile the dining room was 1/3 full at 7:15. I asked our waitress at 7:45ish if there were anymore reservations for the night. She said 1 or 2 left. I asked the hostess after my meal why she lied. She said every other table cancelled.
Food was presented well, but was salty. First subpar Italian meal I have had in at least a year. I understand why the dining room was 1/3 full on a Friday night.
Our waitress was extremely kind and efficient. The bread, appetizer, salads, main course, and dessert all arrived without having to wait. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was delicious.
We really love it here. Pollyanna makes us llaugh, friendly and very welcome to be there. They're chicken parm with linguine is to die for.
