A great ambiance. Nothing too formal, but just right to celebrate a special event. Bread is remarkable. Steaks are perfectly cooked at 800 degrees

Our entire experience was exceptional! The staff was attentive and professional.

The food was prepared to perfection, and wonderfully tasting.

Would I recommend friends or someone I know...???

It depends.... My expectations were/are "High"...!!!

& They clearly did not meet the
"5 STAR" Bar...

Okay so everything was very good especially the service our server gets 5 stars but we could not believe they microwave their sourdough and pumpernickel rolls what a turn off 🤦🏼‍♀️ Please light your oven and put them in there. Thank you.

Service was a little slow but not terrible, however there's a night club next door, literally there only a single door in between them and you can hear the music blasting through

Went to Porter's for Valentine's day dinner. I had the Filet Oscar and my wife had the Filet Mignon. The steaks were excellent, as was the service.

The only drawbacks were the veggie sides, which were average, and the fact that the restaurant is next door to Misty's, which was noisy (being a lounge).

Porter's was well staffed and very attentive. Above average for a hotel restaurant.

What a fabulous dinner I forgot about this hidden gem in the Doubletree hotel fantastic dinner great service overall wonderful evening I will be back there again

This was my first visit in 20 years. Thought it would be nice for Valentines Day. Our server was very friendly, but very busy for such a day, I only saw 2 servers. The menu was much shorter than I remembered, as was the wine list. It took a long time to get drinks and for our server to take our order, but again only 2 servers on Valentines Day. It appeared the focus was on Misty's, the nightclub. The food was excellent, we were surprised that for a Steakhouse, only a few steak choices. Overall we had a nice evening, but they should have more servers.

Waitress was great. Checked on us enough to let us we weren't forgotten but not bugging us to place our order. Food was scrumptious, no leftovers. Highly recommend.

Food was good but not worth the price. Tried to use an Open Table Rewards card that I requested with the reseravation and the manager refused to take it. Other than that the service was very good.

Overall not bad service was terrible forgot order took way to long for table with a reservation !!!! Girl that sat us was brain dead ... who ever took our order forgot onion rings Bill was too late coming and drinks were average at best

I had a reservation at 9:30 and the restaurant closed at 9pm.. horrible experience really embarrassing to myself after I tried to plan a date night with my wife.

The service was ok. We asked for a split salad. That did not happen. The waiter was slow for drink refills. I had to box my own leftovers.

The steak was tasty but the meat was over cooked and I had to send it back. The macaroni was good. The sale didn’t have enough dressing

My best guess is that it is not a well managed place. I am glad I tried it but I would not go back. You could eat better for your money.

I wasn’t told when I booked the reservation that we were sharing a table with another couple! We went and ate in the bar! Same menu. Outstanding Steak.

We had dinner here for date night and enjoyed the steak! Afterwards we went to the night club located inside the Doubletree and danced our socks off!

Its basically a want to be High End Steak house. They are charging the prices of high end Flemings / Mortons but the quality of the meat and sides are not up to the price. Food was average and prices were way above average.

The food was delicious and hot when it came to the table. The ambience was very nice. We had leftovers and were quite surprised that we had to box it up ourselves. I would’ve thought that a high end restaurant like yours and where you are paying a good price for your meal that the server would’ve done it for you. Also, my husband ordered a Moscow Mule and it came in a regular glass and not a copper mug!? The waiter had some crazy reason for it. So for that part of the experience I give it a 👎🏻. Since you are on the high end I would expect everything and everyone to be well polished in the service all around.

Let me start out by saying that the lobster bisque was outstanding. One of the best I have ever had. That being said, I was a little disappointed with everything else. The bloody mary was bland and over spicy at the same time. Less Tobasco might have let the other flavors through. It also could have used an olive and some celery. The steak was mediocre for a prime cut and the baked potato tasted like a microwave quickie. The worst part of the whole evening was the guy seated with a group next to us who kept walking around the table in his flip flops. It looked like a romantic evening when we arrived. We were very disappointed and will not return

The food was mediocre at best, burned scallops, over cooked fillet, cheese plate a complete ripoff drinks sucked as well. Then the server kept coming around trying to get us to leave (which is very strange since there was a total of 10ppl in the place and 4 of them were us!) but when he’d come up he’d ask if we’re done with a plate and while asking, reached down and TOUCHES THE PLATE! I’d literally never ever come back again

Porter’s was recommended to us by a nephew. We are visiting here from Maine. I am very particular about steak because I was a food distributor for over 40 years. I had the filet mignon and was totally impressed by the quality. I would definitely eat there again.

Fairly good food, slightly overpriced, very average service. Servers really hurt the overall experience with a laissez-faire approach to their jobs. Going through the motions with no real care for the dining experience their customers were having. Shame really

Was very disappointed. The ambiance does not fit the theme they are going for. The servers are poorly trained. They almost spilled a super hot soup on me, because they failed to put a napkin between the bowl and plate. The $40 New York was no better than a $6 New York at stater bros. I asked for rare and got medium rare. It was a total waste and I would not recommend this restaurant at all!

Had dinner on a Wednesday night with my wife. Service was great. The food was wonderful. Especially liked the mussels appetizer and chefs meat and cheese cutting board! The steaks were ordered were very good. We will go back for another dinner.

Food and service good - very much above average for hotel dining. Next to restaurant is nightclub with loud distracting music every evening that takes a lot away from the dining experience.
