Popi's Italian Restaurant
Great chicken parm.
Average bread and wasn’t a fan of the dip they give you for the bread.
Easiest way to get a reservation is to go through Open Table as their phone normally goes to voice mail.
Great food and service.
It was my first visit and I was very impressed. Great atmosphere fabulous food and awesome service.
Excellent great service great food Queen reasonable absolutely will Mac mend it again
Perfect every time.
We love Popi's Restaurant and dine here about four times a year. We always enjoy bringing our guests from out of town. The food is always excellent and the service is always good. Unfortunately , during our most recent visit on a Monday evening, the restaurant was not very crowded. However, after we had received our appetizers, another group of 8 guests were seated smack next to us. There was another 8 top nearby where they could have been seated. They were enjoying themselves and were quite loud....so loud that we could not hear one another's conversations at our own table. I contacted Popi's the next day and they said that we should have asked to be moved to another table. Perhaps they were right but I think that the large party should have been seated elsewhere as there were other tables available.
Went on a Saturday night with my son before a basketball game. Sowed up 30 minutes before our reservation and the hostesses were very pleasant and accommodating. Waiter was friendly and familiar with the menu. We ordered lolipop lamb chops as an appetizer I ordered veal osso bucco with rissotto and my son ordered a pasta dish as entrees. The lamb chops were very good and the pasta dish was good, nothing extraordinary. The osso bucco was tender but the rissotto was just plain rice with veal sauce, it was definitely not rissotto. The ossos bucco could have used a bit more seasoning as it was a it bland. We shared a cannoli for dessert which also lacked sweetness. The restaurant was very busy with a couple of parties so the service was just ok. I'd give the restuarant one more try but would stick to more common dishes.
Consistantly very good food, and prices are reasonable. My go-to spot for dinner before Sixers. Friendly, attentive service, and can get you out quicly for the game if need be
We had a pleasant experience but once we received the bill, was when I decided we wouldn’t go back. A dessert we ordered was called, by the waiter, a brownie sandwich. When delivered to the table, it had a small brownie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, not sure where the sandwich description came in. Anyway, the bill charged us $7.00 for the brownie and $4.50 for a scoop of ice cream. Seriously, $11.50 for a tiny brownie and a scoop of ice cream? Plus, who describes a dessert to you as one and then charges you twice, each ingredient separately! That’s ridiculous. They also charged twice for hot tea, hot water.
Definitely not worth the price of the final bill. They nickel and dime you for everything!!!
Popi's is a great place to eat before an event at the near by venues. Great food, and they really want to get you in and out in time for your show or game. Would definitely recommend.
We had a wonderful experience at this upscale casual Italian restaurant. Service was prompt, attentive, informative and professional. Food was generally well prepared, though my veal chop was cooked a bit more than medium-rare; they did offer to send it back for a new one which I declined. Excellent selection of reasonably priced wines. I would highly recommend this restaurant particularly if you're planning on attending an event at the Wells Fargo Center or ball parks.
Great atmosphere! The food is amazing and the service was exceptional.
I've enjoyed delicious meals every time I've dined at Popi's. They offer free parking and often have live music. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Great time as always! Camella was a great server
Always great food and service. A little overpriced, but worth it.
Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend for a good meal.
Great meal in a comfortable atmosphere. Outstanding service. Good for groups, families, or dates. Try the fra diavolo sauce.
We sat at a high top next to the “family/owners” who congregated at the bar to socialize. Very loud and obnoxious....The place would be so much better except for the smell of the cleaning products....Think bad bathroom disinfectant smell. Saving the evening was the food. It was delicious. Also the Frank Sinatra singer was very good and fun.
Food was awesome and the service from the staff was wonderful, our waitress Carmella was very attentive and friendly. chef Peachie never fails to deliver, our meal was cooked perfectly.
This is still one of my favorite places to go. 2018 and 2019 Valentine's dinner. Two years of exceptional service and food.
Valentine’s Day dinner
Great food and atmosphere.
Carmella was very pleasant and food was very good.
Place was very loud and noisy.....but I don't know what the answer is......to tell people not to talk???????
Its all ok to me.
Excellent food as well as a very pleasant and delightful staff. I would highly recommend Popi's. Top-notch restaurant.
Always outstanding! One of our favorite places before or after an event at the Sports Complex.
Food was good, but service was lacking. Our waitress forgot our water, forgot bread for our table, did not offer cracked pepper for our Caesar salad, did not offer cheese for our pasta. Had to finally ask a bus boy halfway through our meal for the bread, pepper and the cheese.
Great food! Always consistent. I had ahi tuna with a mango sauce which was superb!
Food was great as was our server. However only drawback was website did not indicate that on Sunday there is no lunch menu and we were there for lunch and only thing being served was the dinner menu.
Always love Popi’s
Amazing food. Great people. Great service.
When I have clients or associates that fly into town for meetings, I always make it a point to have at least one meal with them at your location.
I have never been turned away if I did not make a reservation
Bar area is convenient, dining room is spaced out so you can have a nice meal and good conversation
Pricing is very reasonable and well portioned
Had the fruitti de mare....on a low carb kick, so they put their amazing seafood stew over broccoli rabe...was FANTASTIC!...
Food was vet good at Popi’s. Nice atmosphere and great service. Our waitress was very good. Went there with friends for dinner before a 76ers game at the WFC. Very convenient to the arena. All in our party were very satisfied.
Went for Son’s Birthday. Outstanding service food and atmosphere.
As always, a wonderful dining experience at Popi's! Good food and good service!
I was the only one that had been there before. The other three of us had not and couldn’t say enough good things about it! We can’t wait to go back!
We always enjoy Popi’s. It’s a great spot for dinner before a sporting event. Sheri the bartender is so attentive and professional.
Great neighborhood restaurant. With the white tablecloths, you would be comfortable dressed up or in nice blue jeans. Consistently good food from white to red sauce Italian. Great service - waiters and waitresses are well trained and know the menu well.
The food is always outstanding. Filet medallion trio and crab cakes are the best.
Excellent service with Carmella! She was great.
