   This was our first time at PoorCalvin’s and it was great. The food was great, fresh and served hot. The lobster fried rice is a must! Portion sizes of everything we ate were great. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. We will be coming back soon!

   Service is always 10/10. Jo Jo was an amazing server. Food was top notch. One of my favorite restaurants!

   It was my wife’s and my first visit to Poor Calvin’s—excellent service and even better food. We’ll definitely be returning!

   I went along with 12 friends and had a birthday dinner. Griffin, who was the restaurant host did an excellent job at making sure we were comfortable and seated quickly. Our waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The food was phenomenal!!! We will absolutely be back.

   We love this place, from the ambiance to the service and servers to the very exceptional food and drinks! We started with the shrimp dumplings (a daily special) and the mussels. The mussels were excellent and the broth was so delicious that our server recommended taking the broth home for ramen, which we did. Main courses were: Oxtail and shrimp in a green curry (also a special) which sounds bizarre but was so delicious. This chef is genius at creating amazing dishes from unlikely ingredients! Genius!! Lobster fried rice, which is so much more than it sounds. Our server said it is a signature dish and I can see why. It sounds boring but it wasn’t and I would definitely order this again next time we are here. Smoked duck! Definitely the best duck I have ever had. I can even remember what else was in this dish, the duck was so good. And then dessert. I am a cake lover so we had to try the beautiful cakes. The strawberry cake was to die for. Service throughout was top notch and our server could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful about the dishes. This was a meal that I will undoubtedly dream about in the future!

   Poor Calvin’s is always outstanding! Our team celebrated nurses week here! The service is always top tier and warm! The food and and drinks were 5 stars! I highly recommend this restaurant

   This food was absolutely amazing. It was so delicious with lots of seasonings and flavors. It was our first time going for our anniversary but it definitely will not be our last Malik makes the best drinks. We were there until it almost closed. They did not mind at all. It was one of the staff birthday as well so the night was perfect. Unfortunately I can not remember my waitress name but she was so nice. I remember her schedule though. Three days a week and some Sundays.

    Exceptional flavors and textures in the food dishes. Staff was engaging, entertaining, and made the meal more memorable. I will come back.
