the food great as usual as well as the service. they are very accommodating.
Pomodoro continues to over deliver high quality food, at reasonable prices, and served by a talented and knowledgeable wait staff. This family owned business is a staple in Morristown for mostly Southern Italian dishes, but they also offer a variety of interesting daily specials. I highly recommend dining at Pomodoro.
it is just a great place for dinner with or without friends
The food here is very consistently good, the service is spot on, and the owner always takes the time to say hello. The fruits and vegetables come from a local garden (when available), and the prices are more than fair for the quality of the food. And the food portions are very generous. Overall, this place is a local gem.
The food is great, the portions are well served. The shrip
The food was terrific with plenty to choose from on the menu plus specials. Service was excellent. Water and bread for the table. BYOB and great prices make it a very affordable night out. A great dinner. The restaurant is a pizza place with a dining room on the side, nothing fancy but great food.
Great service! Good food!
My friend and I came to this restaurant for her birthday. The service was okay but the food waa terrible. We were seated next to the restroom which was horrible. I will not be returning.
Very good food in what is mainly a pizza place. We had the Pomodoro pizza and it was excellent
Food is excellent. Staff is quick, attentive, and always friendly!!
The menu is everything you would find at a good Italian restaurant. I didn't order the pizza, but a lot of tables around me did and it looked great. I had the pasta special and it was really tasty. I had enough to take home and have for lunch the next day. :)
Enjoyed the night and the meal .... the people were great
can't wait to go back
Great food. Excellent pizza. Fresh fish.
Nice family run pizza and pasta place. BYOB if you would like some wine with dinner.
Food, service, and people are great here. They have a sit down section to the restaurant that's pretty quiet. Very, very solid red sauce Italian dishes, always with some interesting and tasty specials. It's our go to restaurant for a casual Italian meal.
We went to this restaurant based on a web site search. Overall, it was good, we were there on a Sunday night at 6pm. One side was pizza/fast food and the other side was the dining room. They did use cloth linens and there was only one other couple in the dining room during our visit. There really is not any ambiance and parking is a challenge, as we parked on the street and filled the meter.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday. The food was delicious (portions are huge!) and the service was great. I would - and have - recommended this place.
Pomodoro was a great find. Our dinner was absolutely delicious. Chef Ori was very attentive and accommodating. We plan to make Pmodoro a regular spot for a great local meal.
Food and service were very good. Waitress was very attentive and courteous.
We ate in the small dining room. It was very comfortable and not noisy. All 4 of us enjoyed our food. The prices were good, staff nice,. We would go back if in Morristown
Fresh fish; wonderful tomatoes, cheerful and helpful staff - great choice!!!
Got the daily homemade pasta and it was absolutely amazing. It's a bring your own wine kind of place, but the wine store on the same block had a great selection and very knowledgable staff. Would definitely revisit when I'm back in the area. Jules was the perfect and personable server and steered us right in our choices.
Tasty italian food across from the Morristown train station. Small restaurant with about 8 to 10 tables inside pizza place. Food was good and the service was attentive and nicely paced. Entrees are portioned nicely and are served with a salad.
Another delicious dining experience. Our party of six were having diner before attending the
Mayo Performing Arts Center. We all selected different entrees and everyone enjoyed their
food. It is BYOB. I think this is a hidden gem in Morristown and hope it doesn't get too popular.
They also serve great pizza and my husband loves their sausage. The owner or co-owner Ori is a warm & welcoming presence when he is there.
I was pleasantly surprised when we tried Pomodoro. We tend to stick to restaurants on South Street, but I would say this place is a hidden gem. The freshly made rolls were warm and delicious to start. Their entrees were quite delicious. Their marinara sauce made we want to eat it in spoonfuls it was so good. I will definitely go back!!
We were going to the MAYO - so it had to be quick and good ... waitress was extremely nice, pleasant and made sure we were taken care of and out the door in time for the show.
Best Italian food in Morristown. Chicken dishes are awesome and fresh pasta cannot be beat
This was the first time here and the food was spectacular. The balsamic glaze on the caprise salad was to die for. We all had different dishes and no one was disappointed
The staff are extremely pleasent and will try to get you whatever you want. Large portions, Definately worth a try.
The food was very good and the service was very pleasant and informative.
Food was very great! It was a great meal at a great price.
Great Italian food and very affordable. Nothing fancy, but really worth a visit. Likely will come back on a regular basis. Friendly service and BYOB.
Restaurant is split in 2 areas, one for Pizza, one for dining.
Quality of the food was go and I will go there again.
Excellent addition to Morristown and entire North-Central New Jersey dining scene. Since Pomodoro opened over a year ago, the quality of everything that has gone into the entire operation has consistently improved on a regular basis. I haven't had the pizza in some time (which was always New York style and quality with great sauce and cheese), but the entrees are as good as any 5 Star Southern Italian spot. Portions are huge and they will do whatever you want here. The owner Ori and his team, will do anything to please. When in the beautiful and thoughtful dining room in the back, you totally forgot that you entered through a pizza restaurant. Kudos to Pomodoro! Keep it up.
Looks like a regular pizza joint, but the menu selection us very broad. And prices very reasonable We thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Thank- you for being available through Open Table.
When we arrived, we were a bit taken aback that we could not be served pizza in the dining area (only personal size was served in the dining area), and the "pizza" area was outfitted with basic formica tables and chairs. So, we opted to dine in the dining room. It is small and very nice - you would never know that there is a pizza takeout area adjoining it. When we arrived, there were just a couple of tables occupied, but by the time we left the place was full. The food was really great! I had a shrimp fra diavolo and the sauce was wonderful. My companions also really enjoyed their meals. The service was excellent. Would I return? Most definitely!
BYOB. Can't wait to go back!
My first time trying Pomodoro, it was delicious the food was like the food i tried in Italy when i went on vacation. Highly recommend great service and delicious food.
Very nice place with a very good pizza at a very reasonable price.
