Kelsey and Charlee are awesome! They always make sure me and my girls are taken care of! Everyone there treats us like we are stars - because they recognize us and interact with us and are excited we came back to see them - THAT is the secret to a successful place and it’s because of them .....

Thank you so much for making our time there relaxing and enjoyable.... it means so much!

Honestly I don’t understand all of the 5 star reviews. Great little trendy spot, happening atmosphere but the wife and I felt the service was a bit off although the wait staff were nice. Delayed and missing would be more fitting. Food wise, I looked forward to the carpaccio, (dried capers?) and a good cheese plate, which was good despite the presentation. (Covered over with toast). Both of us had pasta dishes, neither were impressive.
Bottom line for me; trendy East Nashville eateries caught up in the hype of the area.

Bad service, bad food.

We were ignored by the server for so long, we had already selected our drinks, appetizer and entrees by the time he got there, so we ordered them all at once.

The beer came out, and after emptying my glass, it sat on the end of the table empty for almost 10 minutes. Then the entrees came out...yes, before the appetizer, which it turns out, the waiter forgot to order for us.

The pizza was undercooked, very doughy and greasy. The chicken parmesan had almost no sauce which was ok since the sauce was overpowered with basil. Somebody in that kitchen loves basil. We ate the food (some of it) because no one came back to check on us after the food was delivered and we were hungry.

The next time we saw the server, he was presenting the check with no attempt to upsell dessert...we stopped for dessert on the way home.

Our first visit and our last.

Great find for a quiet night out. We tried the meatball sliders, fig and pig, and the chicken parmesan! It is all good - spiced just right and very well done.

Our waiter was fun and friendly. Well-executed Italian dishes. It was a really pleasant dining experience. Great if you want a romantic Italian dinner.

This restaurant is simply great. My wife and I attended before a show at TPAC. She stated that this was "the best meal I have ordered at a restaurant, maybe ever." Quite a compliment, as we've eaten at hundreds of restaurants in our long lives.... But, perhaps even better was the service. The weather was icy on that evening, and our server and bartender were willing to help talk my family through alternative routes to Pomodoro.

Service was great, but a very off night in the kitchen. Both of our pizzas were burnt beyond recognition. I usually experience better from here. Very disappointing evening.

The appetizer was the only item fit to eat. We ordered wine from the wine list and they were out of that wine. Twi of us ordered tuna rare and specifically told the waiter. It arrived medium. My wife ordered salmon and it was so over cooked it was like jerky. We ordered a sorbet with berries for desert. We were then told they were out of sorbet. They substituted a bisket cake the consistency of a hockey puck covered with a few frozen strawberries. STAY AWAY

I love having Pomodoro East in my neighborhood. The service is always marvelous, the food is always outstanding and I love the ambiance. My biggest issue is that I have a hard time choosing between my tried-and-true favorites -- the Fig & Pig pizza and the bolognese pasta -- and trying new seasonal items. Also, they have a fantastic happy hour, which is a great time to try lots of small plates (and drinks) with friends.

Our server Racel was less than attentive. Never offered refills on water or anything. The restaurant was no where nearly full . My bread was burned on my entree of Italian eggs. All I could really enjoy, was the eggs. Overpriced for a poor experience

Have eaten there several times and enjoyed it tremendously, but I was very disappointed this visit. Waited 40 minutes for drinks. The cheese plate tasted great, but was very messy. I'm not a fan of sauces or glazes on the rim of the plate, but at least turn it the other way so that your girl doesn't get covered in sauce. Pizza took an hour after the appetizers were cleared. I'm glad this wasn't our first visit because I probably wouldn't return. I hope it's back up to standards next time.

We made the reservation for a friends birthday and made sure to let them know. However nothing was done about the special occasion we came for. We waited at the door to be seat for about 10min with several workers walking by without even being greeted. There was a pretty great selection of food choices, however once we ordered and received our appetitzer, the food runner nor our waitress was able to tell us what was on our meat and cheese plate. One of the entrees was spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs were so over cooked and inedible. When we told the waitress of this she just said sorry and we were charged for them any ways. Empty glass were on our table without being offered to be refilled, we had to wave someone down. Our waitress also spilled the beer we ordered on the floor and never apologized. When we asked for recommendations for food and drink the waitress had no idea just stated well pretty much everything is good. Over all a not good experience and would not recommend to someone which was very disappointing considering the friend who's birthday it was had been waiting to go there for a long time.

Food and service great. Outside patio is spacious and relaxing. Reasonable prices but the wine measure is ridiculously small. Either buy the bottle or drink something else. Pity in an otherwise good experience.

Enjoyed casual dining at Pomodoro East. The tomato salad was fabulous with various types of perfectly ripened tomatoes. The entrees offer something for everyone, although the emphasis is on Italian food with pizzas made in house and various pastas. We were from out of town staying at a B&B in the neighbourhood. We stumbled upon this place looking on Trip Advisor. It was absolutely fantastic especially for Happy Hour. Great cocktails, tasty food dishes, highly recommended!!
