Randi was impeccable! Super covid friendly and always spectacular food and drink!
Top tier service and scrumptious food. We will be back!
Review of visit occurred during snow & ice storm so some items were unable to be delivered but found tuna tartar to be delicious & enormous portion. Enjoyed polenta especially with marinara addition. Mozzarella appetizer with tomatoes, pancetta & lemon was tasty though consistency of cheese was very unusual. There was so much to the apps we never even made it to the entree though my guest did enjoy the tiramisu.
Valentine’s Day was super fun here! It felt intimate and quiet and they followed safety guidelines really well!
This restaurant was an absolute amazing experience. This was a nicer and more expensive place than we normally go, but this was an evening of celebration and the whole experience was just fantastic. From the service to the food everything was top notch. We even notified the waiter of food allergies and he would verify with the chef to make sure that we ordered something safe and good. I can't wait to go back again.
Pomodoro East is consistently one of the best restaurants we patronize in Nashville! The food is always of an extremely high quality as is the service. In good weather we opt for the patio where we can sit and enjoy a nice cocktail while embracing the East Nashville vibe. Highly recommend!
We didn't love it. The food was just ok. We are glad we gave it a try but its not on our "go back to" list.
Thomas was great. Food was delicious. My to-go Tiramisu was less than ideal and looked like banana pudding.
Solid, basic Italian-American fare with always attentive service. Well-curated cocktail and wine lists. I always forget about this place because it's a little tucked away, and I'm always pleased to have remembered it.
Always a favorite! Great food and they treat us like family. Do yourself a favor and go often
Great Italian food! The warm marinated olives are always so good!
We were super excited to try out Pomodoro. My Mom love Italian food and was in town... Perfect!
Calamari: Amazing. The flavor of the sauces with the perfectly cooked calamari was heaven. The best dish we had all night.
Mussels: These were also great. My son ate the entire app in about 5 minutes. He approves!
Fettuccine: Not your typical fettuccine as it has a cream sauce with lemon zest. It also has a slight spice to it. We added grilled chicken to ours. I couldn't wrap my head around it and thought it was ok. My fiancé loved it. Portion was big.
Chicken Parmigiana: Tasted pretty good. Nothing amazing about it. Tasted like chain restaurants Chicken Parmigiana. Portion was big.
Italian Burger: This was interesting. I loved the onion jam. It all worked and was huge! I was only able to eat half of it. The Rosemary Parmesan fries are excellent. Ask for the aioli instead of ketchup!!
Service: The restaurant was nowhere near capacity and our service was pretty slow. The waitress forgot my drink several times, we had to ask about boxes several times, plates would just stack on our table and she would just disappear. Biggest reason for the 3 starts.
Maybe we went on an off night. We are definitely going to give it another shot in the future.
We were greeted immediately with a welcoming smile and cheerful attitude. They were very accommodating and the food was very good. We were served bread with a balsamic olive oil dip and asked for seconds!
I had the Spezzatino Di Maiale, the pork was so tender that no knife was needed....I couldn’t finish it all. My fiancé had the Cheese Stuffed Tortellini...I did not taste his but he was very happy with his selection.
We did not sit outside due to weather but would definitely go back just to sit outside and order from here again.
Made dinner reservations following my engagement and staff especially the manager Jessica were stupendous!! 11/10 would do again!
Our favorite place. Brought friends there. Tables seemed close but will be back.
We typically eat out once a week in the Nashville area. We were very pleased to find this gem! The prices were reasonable for the Nashville area and the food was worth every penny. We could hold a conversation and not be drowned out b by the noise. We are telling our friends and we will be back!
Super amazing Italian in a low key atmosphere. The service was amazing and they made really great recommendations. Highly recommend.
Our favorite chicken parmesan in Nashville!
Another stellar experience with an awesome neighborhood restaurant! Incredible service and interesting flavorful dishes!
Everything about dining at Pomodoro East was very good. Our server was a bit slow when it came time to deliver our check, but otherwise he was very good as our server.
Amazing as always! Never disappoints. Great food!
Great happy hour. The pizza & mussels were great, & Stephen was a great server & a lot of fun. We’ll definitely be back!
Overall this was a underwhelming experience. But with that being said, we agreed we would go back for happy hour for great wine prices and try the flatbread pizzas next time.
We had made a reservation for 5:45pm, because Covid, and when we arrived the host and who I assume was a manager of sorts were looking at the tables and then told is that the table in the dining room we were to be seated at had a reservation for 7pm and if we could be done by then they'd seat us in the dining room. So bizarre, but we agreed.
We then got the Mozzarella en Carozza for an appetizer. It was not good and we let our waitress know that politely we didnt like it. Then we asked for some bread in the hopes it could take the funky taste from our appetizer out of our mouth. The focaccia bread also had a strange flavor, almost sweet. Just strange.
Now our entrees were quite delicious!! We had the chicken parmigiana and the lasagna. The flavor was amazing but seemed over priced personally.
Overall it was an underwhelming/overpriced experience.
We probably spent an hour looking through restaurants on OpenTable for dinner. What was most important to us was the $-$$$$ rating and the menu. We finally decided on Pomodoro and away we went. We already had our meals picked out from their menu before we got there. Once sat, we found out they had changed their menu the week before and different versions of what we wanted were available, but the not the actual meals. Our server was the bar tender that night and she was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and even helped us switch out a sauce on a meal for my boyfriend, and explained other entrees to me. I went with an Italian margarita as my drink, and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was, as I like the standard lime flavor usually. We did the warm olives as a starter (yum) and I got a truffle pizza(minus the arugula). It was new to the menu and another stretch for me. It was the best pizza I've ever had. Hands down. This place is wonderful. Highly recommend.
We went in for an impromptu dinner because I just HAD to get out of the house. They did a great job with COVID protocols and my boyfriend and I felt safe the whole time we were dining. Randi was our server and she was so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the cavatappi pasta as an appetizer and it was so good we ordered more for dinner! Warm chocolate cake is a MUST!
Excellent food and fast service!
Fantastic food and atmosphere, gorgeous patio and very dog friendly!
Birthday celebration- excellent food and service.
Service was the best I’ve had in forever. Randi is the heat. Main courses excellent. Cannoli was eh.
Outstanding service! Consistently a go to for safe patio ding, great good and drinks!
One pizza (Fig and Pig) and one cocktail were outstanding. The other pizza and cocktail were quite lackluster. Service was very slow, but servers were very kind. Inside restaurant was super dim at night.
It’s one of our favorite places! We’ll keep going back.
Our server was absolutely incredible! She stopped and chatted with all of her tables multiple times and made it a great experience!
Service was great !!!!
The food was very good. The service was even better. J J. (Bar Manager)
was fantastic and so knowledgeable. She was really friendly.. Our food was so good. The Lasagna was so fresh and delicious. The ravioli was really good. It was just as good a couple of days later. I enjoyed my entire visit to Pomodoro East. Definitely will return.
Great food. Sizable portions. A nice date night option.
Pomodoro East is one of our favorites. Have not been back since the beginning of the year due to COVID. Great experience on the patio. Food was great. Server Kaitlin was full of positive energy. A great time. Looking forward to the next visit.
We had happy hour on the deck which was a great experience. The apps are very good. The fig and pig pizza is our favorite.
Great location, service, and ambiance! The pizza was slightly cold when it came out and not as crispy as my husband and I prefer for wood fired pizza. Also, a little too heavy on the cheese. However, great wines to choose from and a very cozy atmosphere!
It was a birthday celebration evening. We ordered 3 small plates during happy hour- all delicious. We had 5 different entrees- each one was perfect! Service was great, food was delicious, etc. overall a fun time ! Atmosphere was great, too!
