Pomo Cucina & Pizzeria
We were there for Father’s Day. They made special dessert for my daughter because she is allergic to nuts.
Great evening and atmosphere!
The pizza was very under cooked. Clearly they were busy and cooking as fast as they must the oven temperature had dropped below what it should have been. They should not have served the pizzas until the ovens had heated back up. Very disappointing. The salad was very good and fresh and the server was good but also had too many tables so it was spotty at times.
Fantastic food! Service was slow but pleasant and it looked like they were short-staffed. Will definitely go back.
We love this place and the ambience. Some dishes were excellent, eggplant divine but a little thin on pizza toppings. Saturday night can be difficult. Misters and noise on patio were unsettling but after considerable persuasion they found a table for us in the casual section and we had a lovely time. Server was outstanding!
My favorite pizza in Scottsdale. Food and atmosphere are both wonderful
For the price, you can do better elsewhere. It wasn’t that bad, but overall, straight average.
Ho hum. Very mediocre.
Salads are perfect for sharing and pizza is light and very tasty.
The food is delicious at POMO. We even ordered the gelato from the other side of the restaurant. The only thing was that our reserved table wasn’t ready when we arrive on time. They offered for us to sit outside in an awkward spot near the doors, or facing the pizza oven, for a party of 7, to not be able to sit and talk to each other?! They were nice but we waited for at least 30 minutes for our reserved table! The other thing was, they double charged us drinks. Since we had to wait so long, the least they could’ve done was comp our drinks while we wait. Or, you would’ve thought they would’ve comped something off our bill since we had to wait so long?! Wow.
We had a small high school graduation party here… Party of 13. They let us decorate the table and were very accommodating. Our waitress was very sweet and the food was really good. Thanks so much for making the night special!
As close to authentic Italian as you’ll get but they way overpriced the pizzas especially for the size. I got pies twice as big as Pomo’s for 4-5$ cheaper in both Florence and Rome so be warned
Entrees, service, wine and ambiance were fantastic. The lettuce in my sand had been pre-chopped and was quite brown which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars.
Had to wait 20 minutes for waitress to clear our table, box our leftover pizza and get our check
Still the best pizza in Arizona.
Always enjoy eating at Pomo in Scottsdale.
Especially enjoyed pizza with Buffalo mozzarella. Can’t be beaten
Good food good service great ambience as we ate outside.
This is my favorite pizza place for many years now.
Pizza came before appetizer was done. Pizza was soggy and cold. Crust was spongy.
Excellent food. I was with some friends from Europe, who are quite demanding concerning CUISINE... and everyone enjoyed their dishes.
congratulations to the Chef !
This was our first time dining at Pomo, although we had pizza at a restaurant in Prescott, AZ made by the person who started the restaurant. We began with a buratta appetizer, which was very good, especially the accompanying red sauce. For the entrees we had the porcini pizza and the squid ink pasta with salmon. Both were well made and we had a couple slices of the pizza to bring home. Dessert was tiramisu, a large portion. We also had a very good bottle of Sargrentino from Umbria to compliment the meal. We would definitely return to Pomo. Good food and an extensive wine list.
This is a busy vibrant spot. Great menu with a lot of variety. Very nice evening!
Pizza always good. But the homemade pasta still the best!
Will continue to frequent Pomo!
Had an incredibly soggy pizza. Pasta was undercooked. Service was great.
Amazing pizza and pasta! Best in Scottsdale!
Great experience as always!
Great dinner with delicious food excellent service and ambience.
A very favorite stop when in town! The food is great! Great service! Love it!
Had a 7:30 reservation but was seated closer to 8. Think we were totally forgotten about as we the staff scrambled and wound up seating us next to the ice cream bar.
Mediocre across the board :( pizza was wet and soggy. Both appetizers and drinks came out after entrees :(
The reception area is extremely not organized. We had a reservation at seven and they finally sat us at 7:45. Extremely noisy would not recommend it unless you had a dozen kids and you just wanted to let them run wild.
Underwhelming. Pizza crust good. Piizza
taste bland. Pretty patio. Good service.
Excellent outdoor dining with superior service.
We’ve been to Pomo numerous times and love it. My only small complaint this time is the outside chairs. They are so awkward, I felt like I was sliding out.
The quality of the food was obviously superior. The pizza was described, on the menu, as thin and crispy. The edges were crispy but the rest of the pizza was soggy like a wet and floppy flour tortilla.
The service was very, very good.
We had 3 people in our party and showed up 10 minutes early for our reservation (early reservation at 6:00). There were four people at the hostess stand who seemed irritated to have to help us. I checked in for the reservation and asked to be seated inside (there were literally only two tables inside that had people sitting in them). They said they didn't know if they could seat us inside. Then, they went back to looking at a video on a phone and laughing. They told us to wait- again, tons of set tables were open. Then, two people came in for a walk in and were seated before us. We waited for about 15 minutes to be seated in an empty restaurant. Once we were seated, our server was great- he said he had been working there for 2 years- he was knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. We had some calamari that was mediocre, a bottle of wine, and two pizzas. The red sauce pizza was delicious.
Not my first time, definitely not my last, i love the food here, nice wine list and awesome Negroni
Nice patio and good food. We were sorry to see the one in Glendale close.
We made last minute dinner plans on a Monday while in town on vacation and really enjoyed our time. We were on an anniversary trip, and our server, Alex, ensured it was special with a celebratory dessert, a great wine recommendation and helping us decide how much to order. And she was kind and funny to boot. The restaurant is super cute, great vibe and decor. It was much more happening than we thought it'd be for a Monday night, but not crowded. We easily got an open table reservation right before we headed over. Definitely a nice, yummy meal, (especially the indulgent chocolate hazelnut dessert and the eggplant parm appetizer!) with a great vibe. If we'd not been so full we might have even tried the gelato at the attached gelateria they have! Definitely worth going while you're on vacation in Scottsdale, or if you're a local!
