The greatest servers
The thing that keeps us coming back to Pomo is the food. It’s outrageous! But the service vice is poor from the get go; from the arrogant hostess to the indifferent or maybe just clueless waitstaff.
I like this place better when I order takeaway
We love Pomo The bruschetta made no sense however as an appetizer as they didn’t cut it for us. Head scratcher with four people at a table and three slices of bread with different toppings on it- how does that work as an appetizer? We were really looking forward to gelato at Luna not the restaurants fault whatsoever but the air conditioning had gone out and we didn’t get to enjoy what we came for originally. We love this place and go on the weekly but this was disappointing on Father’s Day.
Always great food great service and great ambience.
Great service and awesome food. Laid-back atmosphere good for a date, hanging out or just grabbing a bite.
We are so lucky to have Pomo right around the corner and look forward to coming in often. Everyone is always so nice and helpful about getting us a table. WE LOVE POMO!!
Good but not the best it's been. Pizza needed a tad longer in the oven. Perhaps rushed that night.
Comfortable and great food and ice cream
Friendly and good food...always consistency good...never disappointed...:):)
We shared a pizza and pasta. Both were excellent. Service was attentive and we got our food quickly even though the restaurant was packed. So many choices, but our waiter skillfully talked through what we were craving. Definitely hit the spot. Finished off with the creme brûlée. My favorite dessert and the best I ever ate.
Great pizza, wonderful gelato and a neat atmosphere. Host and hostess set a fine vibe.
Whenever out of town friends visit the Valley we meet them here. The cuisine and staff never fail us.
Really enjoyed our visit and our waiter who has the knack for getting to know his clients and making them feel at home.
Just had a really nice time - great atmosphere- great service- great food - decent prices
I lived in Italy (Napoli and Roma) so just had to try the pizza AND the pasta! Both were the excellent! My friend and I split a margherita pizza and I had the gnocchi. We also enjoyed dessert and cappuccino. We left stuffed but it was definitely worth it!
Always delicious Great food great service and Ambience.
Yummy and authentic Naples pizza - make sure you know that style and like it! I usually don’t like the edges of pizza crust - but here I gobble it dow . Good shareable items like frito misto appetizer and salads. Calamari was super tender. Gnocchi also excellent. We came early at a kid friendly time and they definitely seemed accommodating to families. New Luna gelato bar also delicious with unique flavors
A true neighborhood gem that ALWAYS provides OUTSTANDING food, drinks,
service, and ambiance..a FIVE STAR restaurant!
Great Italian food. I would recommend it to everyone.
Good local restaurant. Great service and varied menu. Great patio setting as well. Would recommend for lunch or dinner.
Meal came 20 minutes salads eaten
I was watching the manager from where we sat. She has a nice manner with the staff who were efficient and quick to assist each other when necessary. The positive vibes radiated to the customers and made dining a very pleasant experience.
Nice . Very timely service.
Great food and always consistent, euthentic Italian. Great to families and we love it for date night too. There is always outstanding service.
Pizza was not up to their standards.
Heirloom tomatoes were not ripe
Server was efficient but not engaging or friendly. No suggestions or interest in us.
I will return because I have always enjoyed the place. Hopefully the experience will be better
Salmon on salad a little over cooked but otherwise excellent!
Food was good service not so good! They were very busy and looked under staffed. The manager was very helpful assisting them though and very attentive to the customers.
This is quite a noisy restaurant, so if that bothers you, stay away.
I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese as did 1 of our friends. It was tasty. My husband ordered the Strozzapreti Salsiccia which he didn't care for. Our other friend had a Caprese salad & the Eggplant Parmesan which didn't look appetizing at all. She ate it but not with gusto.
As for service, we had to repeatedly ask our server to bring bread & various other small requests. Not the kind of service I expect. I doubt that we will return.
Great pizza but order "extra crispy", pasta is very good and was told that is made fresh every day. Ordered the Focaccia di Recco and it is very yummy and different.
Their gelato is one of the best in town.
It’s the best Italian restaurant in the US. It will offer most authentic Italian food that will make you feel like you are in the heart of Milano!
The best in AZ. Multiple visits each trip!!!!!
Good experience. Nice staff. Good food. Good service
Excellent quality, a great everyday place when you want pasta, pizza or their fabulous gelato.
Good for singles, couples, groups, celebrations, meals with kids or just about anything.
Love the pizza & wow was the pasta amazing. Save room for dessert over at Luna for the best gelato ever. Super nice server & pretty patio. Can’t wait to return.
Food is good; service is good. Pizza is delicious and salads are lavish and well designed. Only complaint is the noise level. Too many children running around without adult restraint if you go before 7. Tables are close together and noise level rises so conversation is challenging. Been to lunch often and the atmosphere is quieter and the food equally good. I plan to stick to lunch.
Always a great time, service and food!
Great food and great service!
They always treat you well here. Great variety on the menu.
This was recommended to us by someone we met at our hotel. The pizza is Neopolitan style, which they explain means cooked in a 900 degree oven for about a minute, leaving the middle "soft." I love an artisan style pizza, but I was a little disappointed. Nice crust on the outside, but the soft middle required you fold the pizza. Just wasn't my favorite. We also had the carpaccio, which would have been perfect, but they drizzle some kind of aeoli on it that was too much. A little less, (or none) would have been better. Our server, Frankie, however, was amazing. She knew her wines, gave great suggestions and made us feel like we were the only ones there.
