Great food and great service!
They always treat you well here. Great variety on the menu.
This was recommended to us by someone we met at our hotel. The pizza is Neopolitan style, which they explain means cooked in a 900 degree oven for about a minute, leaving the middle "soft." I love an artisan style pizza, but I was a little disappointed. Nice crust on the outside, but the soft middle required you fold the pizza. Just wasn't my favorite. We also had the carpaccio, which would have been perfect, but they drizzle some kind of aeoli on it that was too much. A little less, (or none) would have been better. Our server, Frankie, however, was amazing. She knew her wines, gave great suggestions and made us feel like we were the only ones there.
Had a very enjoyable dinner on the patio at Pomo - good food, great service from Lauren, excellent wine selection, and a good band. A bit pricy but it's in a prime Scottsdale location so that's to be expected. Definitely recommended.
Great restaurant go there all the time food and service is excellent.
The food is excellent. Every time I have eaten here my order has been perfect.
As always, and as expected. My favorite Place in the Phoenix Area
We're usually big fans of Pomo. Love their pizza and salads. Because of that, we took an Italian couple from the East coast there for dinner as they wanted good Italian food. Thought it was a good bet it would be delicious. We were so disappointed. Two of us had gnocchi which had no flavor at all, and another person had a pasta dish with Italian sausage. We actually thought he was served the wrong item as the Italian sausage 'particles' were barely visible. Needless to say, this dish had little to no flavor as well. We were embarrassed that we took these friends there for what we thought would be a great meal. We'll go back for their pizza and salad, but not for their pasta dishes.
We love the food but our table was aweful. I expected to be sitting inside when I made a reservation but instead we sat outside in the corner where everyone was bumping our table.
Pomo has fallen off since our last visit. The pizzas we ordered were to a point of almost being brunt - we should have sent it back but could not find our server for a long time so we endured. We ordered dessert from the menu which was a mistake - the Cannolis were as hard as a rock and were very bland - almost as if they forgot to add sugar during the baking process. The tiramisu was also not very good. When the waiter asked how the desserts were I commented that we were disappointed but he seemed not to care.
Overall a very disappointing dinner at Pomo - we most likely will not go back for a long time.
Great pizza, and home made lasagne. The place does legit napoletano pizza. We will go back.
It was nice outdoors until the Sysco delivery truck rolled up and ruined our lunch. Oh well next time we will go later in the day or night.
Best meal had while in the area for 10 days. Just yummy!!
Very authentic Neapolitan pizza. A little on the expensive side.
They were disorganized when we got there. Had to wait quite a while for a table disputes there being several empty tables.
Excellent pizza, pasta, and gelato! Great dining experience with our young children.
Great place for families... service was great. Gelato next door was a great after dinner treat!
Great as always!
Great food good value!
Great waiter, great food, lovely patio, good cocktail/wine list too.
The pizza was the real deal. Salads were also good. And the attached gelatoteria was very very good.
The food was excellent. However the hostess was not very attentive nor particularly bright. There were many open tables yet she refused to seat us despite the fact that we had a reservation. We went back to her on four separate occasions to tell that there were many open tables, booths, she finally got the message and sat us.
No better pizza in Scottsdale. Service is spot on, neapolitan pizza it delicious. Love this place!!
Pizza was great, the pasta was not! Although they did remove it from the bill.
Excellent service. Their pizza is really good and authentic. They had a decent wine list with affordable good options to pair with many of their dishes. I will definitely return.
Good food, service is usually slow, but it’s worth the wait.
Excellent gluten free pizza! They even have vegan cheese that tastes good!
Did they change the chef? The pizza was mundane and not great as it has been. The mango salad was fair to poor.
Our favorite restaurant in Scottsdale! Killer staff, beyond friendly, serving top flight Italian food.
Fabulous food and excellent service! We always go here when we are visiting Scottsdale. Make a reservation to avoid the wait.
This has to be one of my favorite restaurants! Love that we found an Italian place that fits my whole families dietary needs. Such great gluten free vegan pizza!
Excellent place to go with my daughter and her family. Loved the pizza and the wine list was great!!
Pomo has always been great, however, now with the new gelato available just a few steps away,
it offers another reason to head to Pomo!
We loved everything about this place. The food was outstanding. We were in town from Chicago and are Italian ourselves! We have a lot of good Italian restaurants at home, and found this place to be up to the same standards as some of the best Italian restaurants in Chicago! We stayed nearby so we were back a few times over the week. We came for late-night snacks at the bar a couple of times, plus we had a full dinner with dessert one night, too! We loved the meatballs and the egg plant so much that we ordered it twice while we were there. Everyone's pasta was delicious. They really know how to do their sauce! I had a salad with shrimp as my main meal and thoroughly enjoyed it! The desert part of the restaurant is so cool. Homemade gelato in an attached but separate area is a nice touch for after dinner or just to come for dessert. Delish! Servers went out of their way to be friendly and fun while we were there. We met the manager when we sat down for dinner, and she was delightful, as well!
Very knowledgeable waiter and very good food. While they offered outside seating, chairs weren’t the most comfortable though they did have some booth like seating that looked nice. It was a bit frustrating that what should have been a relaxed outdoor meal had to be disrupted by noise of clanking silverware wrapping right next to our table the entire time we were there. Surely they can find a better spot to do this without negatively impacting a customers dining experience. hat should have been a relaxed outdoor meal had to be disrupted by noise of clanking silverware wrapping right next to our table the entire time. I've had quite a number of Neapolitan pizzas both US and Italy, this pizza is pretty darn good. Salads good as well. But the whole reservation and seating thing needs work. I felt like I had to stay right in front of the host stand to make sure I kept our place in the queue, even though we had a rezzy and checked in early. Like combat seating. Figure that out and you guys are golden. Until then....Bianco for us. I don't like to work that hard for my dinner.
With reservation we still had to wait for 30 min get seated.
service was good, food was mediocre.
Pomo is consistently excellent. There pizza is as good as it gets in Arizona. The team is friendly, helpful and attentive and their pricing is completely reasonable. The addition of the gelato bar only enhances the overall experience. I usually have the meatballs or arancini. You can't go wrong with their pizza or pasta. Also, there kids menu is great and the portions are sizable.
Always a great time and they are willing to "tweak" the pizzas to our liking!
