The Food was good. The service was very bad. Thanks to pommes frites I have learned how important a service is to customers.

We were very pleased to have found this gem. We started with the escargots (fantastic). Steak frites for me and the New York for my husband. We look forward to coming back again and again. The couple next to us had eaten there the night before, it is that good!

Amazing experience! I am originally from Belgium and the food tastes like at home. We had the classic white wine mussels, les boulettes à la liégeoise (beef meatballs) and, the chicken vol au vent. We will be back to taste different things. The patio was , the owner (whom comes from the same area in Belgium) was very welcoming and the bartender was very nice and helpful ! Highly recommend!

We eat here frequently because the food and service are reliably good and a good value. As regulars we are treated especially well and we appreciate it. There is a good variety on the menu and many dishes you won't find elsewhere in the desert including an excellent beef tartare and great chocolate mousse.

Very nice Belgian French restaurant. We had the mussels - their specialty. They provide about 10 options for preparation.

This is the best restaurant in Palm Springs. The food is consistently delicious and the service is always impeccable. I love the atmosphere, the wait staff is the same year after year. And they remember us when we return. Excellent location in downtown Palm Springs.

The fantastic food and impeccable service make this Palm Springs establishment a real gem. Try the mussels, but everything here is great!

Had dinner on the patio. The server was great but the back up wait staff was a bit disinterested - he looked as if he did not want to be there. Wait staff changed mid-meal but both were outstanding. I expected it to be a bit more upscale considering the prices but the food was excellent.

The fish dishes--filet of sole and a cod filet--were excellent. So were the escargots and for desert, profiterolles. We went back a second night during our stay in Palm Springs because the food was so good and the setting so pleasant. On a previous occasion a few years ago, I had steak, also to be recommended.

Delicious French/Belgian food. Friendly and efficient service. Nice wine list, with many lesser known but fine French bottles at reasonable prices. We're not beer drinkers, but there's also a very extensive selection of Belgian beers.

I have been here a lot in the past and loved it, but this time was not what I expected. Took my boyfriend to celebrate and thought it would be a quaint romantic dinner. It was super busy, which is great! but literally our table was maybe 7" from the tables on either side of us. It was not at all romantic because I could literally hear each of the 18 people seated in the 7x10 room. Our server was less than energetic. The food was good, we had the steak and the sea bass special which was good and the portions are generous, but if it's about the atmosphere it's a lil stuffy inside. Maybe creating more space and taking less reservations would be helpful? Not sure.

This restaurant could be a lot better. The food is very good but service is very slow as they don’t have enough help. The owner is there which is good but he doesn’t do anything other than collect the check. The atmosphere is poor both inside and outside and needs a complete redo. It could be made into a very nice restaurant with the changes outlined.

Great experience! We enjoyed the French wines & beer :-) Roasted Artichoke was great! I had the muscles in Thai Coconut Sauce with jasmine rice - AMAZING! Hubby had cod in beur blanc - delicious! Great service & ambiance.

We requested a patio table but were happily seated just beside the open doors. Our waiter Mark was accommodating as per usual. Wine was ordered and poured, dinner came out hot and nicely plated and fun was had by all. This wasn’t our first visit but it was for our friends. Safe to say, they were suitably impressed.
Look forward to many return visits.

Tonight, I made a reservation for four via Open Table at Pomme Frite Restaurant in Palm Springs, CA at 7:15 PM. I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 7:22 PM, and was told that our table would be ready within 10 minutes. Over the course of the next 40 minutes, two tables for four became available. One was given to a party of two who told us their reservation was for 7:30 PM, and the other stood empty. At 8 PM, I notified the Maitre D that since our reservation was clearly not being honored, we were going elsewhere for dinner.

I literally couldn't believe what happened.

Delicious French/Belgian cuisine. Huge selection of mussel preparations, served with amazing pommes frites. Easter dinner prix fixe of mussel appetizer, loin of lamb entree, and profiteroles for dessert a bargain at $45. Fine wine list with lots of hard-to-find but fairly-priced French bottles and, of course, an extensive beer list. Will definitely make this place a regular go-to spot.

We love the patio here. The mussels here are wonderful! My boyfriend has the steak with a blue cheese sauce and it is yummy. Only thing that bothered me, is they raise the prices for busy weekends and I don't appreciate that since we live in PS Year round.
