Delicious food and GREAT service. The Persian tea is a must try-even if you don’t like tea!! (I normally do not like tea but this stuff is delicious). This was the first restaurant I went to that I could eat EVERYTHING on the menu with a gluten allergy. It was so good we went back for lunch. 10/10
Having enjoyed lunch at Pomegranates a couple years ago, I chose it for dinner before the James Taylor concert. At $20-$30 per entree, all three of us found the meal lackluster. The lamb was tough and dry, the beef overcooked, and the salmon bland/tasteless. The service was great, but the food was a disappointment, sadly.
Great place! We were seated promptly and there were no issues with our changing our reservation for 4 to a table for 2. Great server who greeted and served us promptly and had no hesitation in making recommendations guided by our questions and input. The spinach appetizer was excellent as was the on-the-house plate. Eggplant stew was awesome; wish I could duplicate it at home. The beef kabob was tender but Morley as flavorful as expected. Wine choices by the glass were more ham adequate. This will be a go-to place in Greenville.
Love this restaurant. My good friend and I enjoyed our dinner and they were very accommodating of her vegan diet.
Food was unspectacular. They have no competition for their type of cuisine so people don’t really know that their food is just sort of bland and average.
This restaurant is an Americanized version of Persian food. It was fair but lacked in flavor. If you've ever experienced genuine Persian food, you'll be disappointed. If you've never experienced genuine Persian food, you'll likely enjoy the food at Pomegranate.
Always have the best experience at pomegranate! We had a large group and even more people came than expected and the staff were more than accommodating and our waiter handled the group so well. Thanks for everything!
Great Downtown spot; delicious Mediterranean dishes—spouse loves the lamb, I enjoyed filet kabob; very busy festival evening however the service was professional and timely. Nice outdoor patio. After several visits we’ll go again soon!
Due to a street festival in downtown Greenville, we were late for our reservation. However, we called ahead and the staff held our table. Service was prompt (good because we had theater tickets), food was delicious and more than we could eat, and price was reasonable. I had eaten here before and always liked it.
We reserved a table for 4 and met our friends there for lunch before attending Artisphere.
It was a perfect location. The menu was varied enough to make each of us very happy with our meal.
We had a nice waitperson. We were early for lunch, by the time we were ready to leave the place was crowded and quite loud.
Loved the atmosphere and the salmon that was added to my yummy salad.the others had beef, 1 salad and 2 flatbread sandwiches.
The food was fresh and delicious. We’ll be back!
Very good Mediterranean food in a quiet downtown setting.
Amazingly delicious food! Service was outstanding!
Our server Tony was the best.
Great food and lovely outside seating. The service was not great but overall good place.
We sat outside on the lovely patio. Started with 2 dips: spinach and smoked eggplant with pitas and other accompaniments. Very good. One diner had the vegetable stew and liked it. A bit sweet for me. Another had the beef kabobs, I had saffron chicken kabobs. The chicken was bland, I did not detect any saffron. Rice needed salt. Large portions, good service, beautiful patio. I’ll go back
We love this restaurant! Never disappoints!
A favorite! Never disappointing !!!
Outside table where you can see all the people strolling on Main St. Greenville. Food, service were excellent
Lovely spot for al fresco lunch - truly enjoyed the Persian fare...excellent downtown location in Greenville.
The food and service was amazing. The best restaurant downtown.
Great staff, awesome food. Take your time to enjoy the ambient and great service.
Love this restaurant, whenever we get a chance to get away Pomegranate is always at the top of our list. The flavor of their meals is unlike any other.
As always the food was exceptional. The lamb, chicken and shrimp were all cooked perfectly. The side dishes were amazing. Great wine selection.
Pomegranate is one of my favorite restaurants by far. I don’t live in South Carolina but whenever I am in Greenville I have to eat here because the food is so delicious.!
As always, the food was excellent. Our server was not quite up to the standard we have come to expect at Pomegranite. My wife and I both ordered the tenderloin - one medium well, one medium rare - done to perfection, but set incorrectly before us: she got mine; I got hers! Slow on water refills, but the restaurant was very, very busy. We'll be back; it's our favorite.
Food was awesome and tasted authentic. Drinks were yummy too. Pomegranate martini and Persian mule. Service was fantastic (Bryant)
Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We definitely will be back.
Food was excellent but it was very busy I love the food at Pomegranate
Excellent. We will be back!
This restaurant always delivers - appetizers, cocktails, beer and entrees were superior. Great stat and service.
Food and the outdoor seating was amazing. It was my guests first time there and they were very impressed. We had an exceptional time.
Food is always good. Pomegranate martini fun. Location near reedy river park is a plus.
Rack of lamb, mushroom stew, grilled veggies, chicken wings and salad. Three of us. Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Service was good. A nice change.
Great food! Good service, friendly & attentive! We will definitely go back!
I was blown away by how good the flavors were at Pomegranate on Main. The previous night, I had a $65 steak at Ruths Chris, and although the steak was great, I will come here first next time. The flavors were simply amazing, and the service was impeccable. They even made a special combo for me that wasn't on the menu. Highly recommend!
Pomegranate on Main was a wonderful setting for a family luncheon. We enjoyed the unique flavors, and the outdoor seating was pleasant (covered and enclosed) even on a chilly spring day. The pomegranate martini was excellent. We will definitely return and highly recommend!
Family from Oregon rally enjoyed our lunch, especially the salmon
We meet with these these other two couples on a bi monthly basis trying different food styles and ethnicities each time. A different couple selects the restaurant each time. This time it was our turn and based on a previous experience we opted for the Pomegranate on Main. We were not disappointed, the food was great our server, Marcelle was brilliant and a great evening was had by all. Just love their pomegranate molasses over ice cream, what a great way to end a great meal!
My daughter was in from Charleston SC. I treated her to lunch at Pomegranate. This is one of her favorite places to dine. Food was good as usual. However, each us ordered Chicken Torsh. Half of our chicken was under cooked so we left it on the plate. I didn’t request a manager because I do not want to embarrass my daughter.
Wraps are large and come with a small salad of mixed greens. Kabobs are also a good size and come with yellow rice. Service was average and atmosphere is quite nice. The restaurant is quiet fog good conversations. Food had excellent flavor.
