Wraps are large and come with a small salad of mixed greens. Kabobs are also a good size and come with yellow rice. Service was average and atmosphere is quite nice. The restaurant is quiet fog good conversations. Food had excellent flavor.
I have been to this restaurant several times- this was my first disappointing visit, all because of price. I had the shrimp/scallop "special"... 3 scallops, 2 shrimp... for $35. My mistake: I did not ask about the price when I ordered. It makes no sense in any way for this meal offering to have this price. If you could offer an explanation, I wonder if that would even suffice. This was extremely disappointing.
If I return to this restaurant, it will be with some hesitation....
Consistently good and interesting Persian food. Staff is properly attentive and helpful. We have never been disappointed whether a business meeting, family outing or getting with friends. Our favorite place downtown because of this and comfortable atmosphere.
Fabulous as always. Every single part of this meal is exceptional. You must have dessert.
The food is unique and delicious. One of our favorite Greenville restaurants!
Good was excellent. Our waiter was kind, and very knowledgeable about the food n wine questions we asked.
The food was delicious. I liked the ambience as well. I felt like it was somewhat overpriced but am not from Greenville so it may be priced right for that area.
Fabulous and interesting food. Stew with walnuts and pomegranate exception. Lamb kabob cooked just right. Service very good. Highly recommend!
Amazing as always
As usual, the food was delicious and the portions were good. Service was a little slower than previous visits but the restaurant was crowded. We shared appetizers and I had a beef wrap that came with a small salad. It was filling and tasty. This is one of our favorite restaurants in downtown Greenville.
We ordered lamb kabob. It was disappointing. Lamb was quite tough. I told the server and she explained they had several complaints about the lamb, and they had recently changed suppliers.
No one in management came to apologize. No reduction of price offered. I left my name and number with a note on the check. No calls or email today
We’ve eaten here several times before and the food has always been excellent but not this time.
Great service! Flavorful and authentic food. Kid friendly. Fast service
This was the first time we dined at a Persian restaurant. It was OK but not fantastic.
I had a lamb kebab and my wife had tenderloin kebab. Both could have been a little more tender. I had the roasted veggies for a side. Still too raw for my taste.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. The outdoor room has a waterfall feature which was lovely. There was a musician playing a guitar and singing which was pleasant and not too loud.
Overall I would say it was average, not bad but not great. I is not on my favorites list at this point but I would probably give it another try, perhaps a lunch.
We've been here before with at least a group of 4. We always enjoy the shared meal for 4 and thought we'd miss out this time. But they had one for 2 people. What an abundant and absolutely delicious treat! We look forward to traveling (an hour from Asheville, NC) to Greenville for Peace Center shows so we can go to Pomegranate!!!! We are never disappointed!
Excellent food. Excellent service.
We hadn’t been there in a few years, so witnessed we came back to Greenville for a visit we wanted to dine at one of our favorite places. They did not disappoint. Great Pom martini and we love the salmon.
The food was fair. Lots of flavorless rice, small amount of meat with a broiled tomato. Lots of other restaurants with better food and value.
Consistently excellent Persian food!
Wife’s Birthday. The meal and service was outstanding
We usually like Pomegranate but the last time we were there we were really surprised by the small portion of meat. Our dishes were mainly rice with very tiny pieces of chicken (mine) and one small lamb shank (my husband). We still had a good time and are not big meat eaters anyway but the protein portion is way off.
My wife and I enjoyed a late Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was excellent as always.
The food was very good. Really enjoyed everything. Our server was excellent. Great wine selection as well.
This was our second time here and the food did not disappoint us at all! The service this time lacked, never got a water refill and waited a while to get our check after the meal (20 plus minutes). However the first time we went the service was phenomenal!
What a great experience. The waiter was excellent, and the food was so flavorful. We will absolutely be back!
Amazing as always. Top five favorites on Main St.
Great service and food
Food flavor is outstanding. Our service was friendly and professional. Unique Persian dining option for a small market city.
Home desserts are fantastic!! The food is healthy and very tasty.. love the pre-dinner appetizer!!
Service was great. Rack of lamb delicious!
the food was outstanding! I recommend the Pomegranate to anyone looking for a meal that's different from the usual steak and seafood!
This restaurant was absolutely amazing. A friend recommended this spot to me and raved about it, so it inspired me to head on over for a special occasion. We live 40 minutes away from here (living in Spartanburg), and it was definitely worth the drive. Everything about the experience was amazing! So easy to park across the street and we were seated immediately. Will be coming back very often!
Excellent food. The lamb and traditional beef kabobs were tender and seasoned to perfection. Our server Tony was pleasant and just the right level of attentive. Will become one of our favorites
Wonderful lunch. Food was great and it was quiet which allows us to share meaningful conversation without competing background noise.
Food, service and drinks are FABULOUS!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!
My customer recommended this restaurant. It is one of his favorites and I had not eaten here. I now know why he likes Pomegranate so much. We had a business party of 6 on a Tuesday night. This cozy little restaurant sits near the river downtown, in a perfect location, just 1/4 mile from the hotel I frequent, while in Greenville. The food is healthy, well prepared, and delicious. Service was outstanding, and the drink prices and food prices are very reasonable. I will definitely eat here again.
My husband and I have eaten here a couple of times and always have a good experience. We love the food and drinks and the service is excellent. The prices are also very reasonable for the location and portions.
Awesome experience. Love this place!
I love Pomegranate On Main. The food is always delicious and there is a wide variety of options for vegetarians. They also make a very good Moscow Mule.
Wow. The food was spectacular. Our server helped us by making recommendations, and boy was he on point! The Tour for Two is definitely worth it, as you get to sample a lot of what the menu has to offer. The lamb and cranberry rice were particular favorites, as was the Pomegranate and mint ice cream. The Persian tea at the end of the meal was also a highlight (truth be told, there wasn't much that was NOT a highlight). Definitely recommend.
The snapper was overcooked and dry ($32), the chicken was dry and blunt.
We'll be back and eat appetizers only. They can prepare food, they just cannot cook.
