About POM - Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino
POM is Fantasy Springs Resort Casino"s answer to casino cafes. POM features breakfast, lunch and dinner in an atmosphere that's light, airy and modern.
Reviewers on Yelp.com give POM 4&1/2 stars out of 5 and for good reason. The food here is of top quality. Chef Freddy Rieger even gets herbs used for cooking and garnish from the garden just outside the restaurant's French doors. The food is inventive yet hearty and the service is friendly and attentive.
Patrons can also order cocktails here they won't find anywhere else around Palm Springs. How about a Date Martini or a hand-crafted White Sangria?
POM excites your senses and keeps you coming back for more.

POM - Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino Ratings and Reviews
My sister and I ate dinner Saturday evening before the Michael Bolton concert. Antonio was our waiter and he was great! Extremely pleasant, responsive, and paced the dinner perfectly. I ordered the prime rib, which was cooked perfectly. My sister ordered the filet mignon wedge salad which was also very delicious. Great night altogether and we will definitely be back.
We came on Christmas eve for an early dinner at 5:30 pm. Party of 4 friends. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was a little over half full. We asked for the room in the back which was more intimate than the front room which appeared more like a coffee shop. (Same menu in both rooms)
The menu was varied with everything from "breakfast for dinner" to Prime Rib, steaks and vegetarian options. The seafood pasta special had big pieces of lobster, shrimp, scallops and mussels in a tasty red sauce.
The service was outstanding! We will return!
The seating was fast, since we made the reservation. The server and server assistants were on top of their game. The food was not to good. We ordered the food and mine was Sea Bass. It was served in about 5 minutes, my first thought was wow that was fast then we both tasted our dishes and we understood. (not to flavorful or fresh) It was like this food was seating in a serving tray (like a buffet would do) and then cooks just put it on the plate and serve it to us. We ordered desert Apple pie with ice cream. The apple pie was not very hot, so it was like eating cold pie with ice cream. The meal prices were high for the quality of the food. I though the more expensive the meal the better it would taste, but I was wrong.
Dined at Pom after the Doobie Brothers Concert here at Fantasy Springs. Dined at the Bar. great wines by the glass. Ordered Calamari and Prime Rib.
Calamari was fresh and crispy with a great aioli sauce.
Prime rib was great. Still able to get a rare slice late in the evening. Very tender and well seasoned. Probably the best prime rib in the area now that Cactus Jack's in Indio closed down earlier this summer. Bartender Eric is great!!
There were three people in our group. Two of us did not like their food. One lady said it was the worst meal she has had in a long time. The other lady said it was OK. I actually liked my meal. I had the filet with a wedge salad. The steak was cooked perfectly and the wedge salad was good. The wait staff did a good job and were very attentive. The ambiance is nice, but I would not recommend Pom to any of my friends. I ate at The Bistro a few weeks back and it was much better. Sorry to be so critical, but the food could use some revamping.
I won a two night stay at the resort and it included dinner and dessert for two at POM. We made a reservation for Monday, early, 5:30. It was not crowded at all and pretty quiet. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and our waitress. The service was excellent. Our waters were refilled promptly, the bread was very tasty, and our cocktails were perfection. I had the Pom a rita, my husband had a Fat Tire. Our cesar side salads were fresh and tasty. We ordered the filet mignon dinners. They were cooked to perfection, the side dishes were delicious as well. We never order dessert but since it was included we ordered tiramisu for me and cannolis for him. They were divine. The level of customer service here is excellent. The manager came to check on us a couple of times. It was such a treat to dine here.
One of the most outstanding features was the cordiality and friendliness of the server! We were treated with not only respect but with a wonderful willingness to help. The maitre'd also came over to see how our dinner was-the food was very good and the dessert-Chocolate Mousse Cake was superb! I will definitely try to return and have told so many friends about the excellent POM!
Have been here many times and it is my favorite place to eat when visiting the area, especially before a concert. The food is always delicious and never fails to impress. We again enjoyed a great meal before the concert this time.
The waitstaff is very helpful, attentive, courteous and always makes the experience a great one. Hope to visit again soon.
An excellent restaurant. The food is always fresh and the pairings are innovative. The service is usually excellent but on this trip, the server did not tell us the specials and after the entree was served, she did not come back to check on us. Not very good customer service.
We went to POM in search of a couple of good salads. We were not disappointed. My seafood Caesar was excellent. My companion's Italian Chopped was also very good.
The rolls looked good but were pretty much tasteless and mushy.
Desert was a disappointment. We shared an apple pie and ice cream thing. The apples inside were small uniform cubes of tasteless apple. They appeared to have come out of a can filled by a high speed apple chopping machine. The crust was soggy and not flaky. And everything about it was icky sweet.
All in all a rather mixed experience. POM is not up the high level set by Joy and the Bistro, both highly recommended.
