We had a wonderful late lunch. Food was delicious, service was great. I’m pretty sure we saw Leah Michelle.
Great service and decent food. A bit on the expensive side for everyday dining. For a normal middle class person like me, I would only come here again for special occasions.
Finally got round to visiting this iconic venue after about 20 years.
It lived up to my expectations in regards to the decor and friendliness of the staff.
I was however a bit disappointed in the food, while it was nice I supposed I excepted to be blown away by it.
More over my party were more disappointed in the dress code, we always make an effort wherever we go and after reading the reviews on several websites we of course adhered to them.
Upon being seated we realised that we were surround by quite a few tables who were in just fitflops and tennis gear.
We have been coming to this wonderful hotel since our daughter was 2 ; We have stayed at The hotel as well as eaten in the Polo Lounge . The waiter we had this time was David Tucker, he was very personable, and quick to get what we wanted, A super waiter, we hope to have him next time we come. Our daughter just started Vet school and this was a treat for her as well as us. We love the ambiance of the polo lounge and can’t wait to return.
Amazingly beautiful day in the historic opulence of the Beverly Hills Hotel! We were seated in the polo lounge, in the patio section of course, drinking singapore slings with mezcal on the side. Actually they are called Smoking Fear and Loathings. Basically its a Singapore Sling with Mezcal and fruit slices as described in the novel Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas by the titan Hunter S Thompson and film (the scene was shot in the Polo Lounge: Patio section) directed by the brilliant Terry Gilliam starring Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro with an added twist of it bubbling in a Tiki mug. I also had some delicious soup and other nibbles to go along with the out of this world drinks! We saw more than a few celebs who seemed relaxed and enjoyed hearing the biz talk and other eccentric musings from now back to yesteryear. Our server Sydney who made our time super special is also an excellent visual artist so we had much in common. All in all it exceeded my expectations and hope to return the next time I'm in town from NYC. Highly recommended for golden age Hollywood charm and contemporary comforts.
Great place, with "history". Ambiance and service are excellent. Food is good but not quite worthy of excellent when compared to other restaurants.
My favorite restaurant in the world! The risotto is to die for.
This is by far my most favorite restaurant I've ever been to. Inside the gorgeous Beverly Hills Hotel. There's not much else I can say. It was the best dining experience I've ever had. My husband and I got salmon and the house burger - both were tremendous. The dessert was beautiful (Pink Palace Alaska) - and our server was such a sweet man. He made our experience even better. We were sat next to a celebrity (kind of) so that was a little fun for dinner conversation. I cannot recommend this beautiful restaurant enough for fine dining.
Love this place
