I have been wanting to go to this restaurant for many years and finally did it. It is at the top of a high-rise hotel. I was worried about the parking, but you can valet and they validate your parking so it is free and easy. The food was very good, although I thought the menu was quite limited. There are only a few choices of appetizers and a few choices of main dishes. It is pricey, but that is to be expected. The rotating restaurant is a novelty, which is kind of interesting, how’s both your interior and exterior view slow slowly changes over the meal.

Polaris is a top tier fine dining experience that is made extra special by the rotating city view. Food and cocktails are top notch. Portion sizes are sensible and you won’t leave hungry. It is a great place to celebrate a special event. In round numbers it’s $100-$115 per person, in our experience. We look forward to our next visit.

A group of men (bachelor party) was at two tables away from us. It felt like we were in a high school cafeteria. They were talking very loudly. We did not enjoy 100% completely. We wish we had the opportunity to move far away from them. Or at least your staff member asked them to quiet down a little bit.

The food was great. The menu wasn’t expansive, but a fair variety was offered and we easily found dishes we wanted to try. The thing that really stood out was our server, Antoinette. Her attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and overall personality were above and beyond. She truly made our experience THAT much better.

Bought my 19- year old granddaughter to Atlanta for a long weekend. We went to Polaris for our first meal. The view was amazing- right at sunset. It took about 60-90 minutes to make the full turn around the restaurant. We ordered 3 appetizers that were delicious and I ordered the vegetarian entree as well. The food was delicious- the entree was very salty, but I loved that so a winner for me. I had a specialty cocktail and my granddaughter ordered one of the specialty non-alcoholic drinks, which we both appreciated they had on the menu. There was a very loud group of about 10 people sitting close to us, but that group was just having fun and did not distract us at all. I was unaware the kitchen closed on Thursday night early (my fault for not reading the fine print) so the food was a bit rushed, but again, that was on me. Our server, Sue, was get attentive and nice. We enjoyed our time at Polaris and if you are visiting Atlanta it’s a great place to go.

Polaris was an experience! The energy of the servers, complimentary valet, exclusive elevator, and a stunning view! Antoinette was the most wonderful attendant with food recommendations and timely service. She took great pictures and made it a most enjoyable experience. The food was wonderful as well. We ordered the seabass, steak, and Polaris dome dessert. All of it was delicious! The only improvement I would make would be to the mocktail I had. It was okay but not up to the standards of the rest of the meal. Over all I will definitely be back to this restaurant. It was an unforgettable way to celebrate my birthday. Everything was so wonderful that you almost forget the restaurant is spinning as the backdrop!
