The Pointe In Tyme Restaurant has been a favorite restaurant for Phoenix residents for over 40 years. Located at the north end of the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort, it has easy roadside access. The beautiful mahogany bar and restaurant has a warm and inviting feel that is unique to the valley. Serving a la carte menus featuring fresh, contemporary ingredients that cover everything from steaks & seafood to pasta, guest are always sure to find something they enjoy. The restaurant is open daily and also serves as the valley's best "19th Hole" as it is situated next to the Lookout Mountain Golf course pro shop. Indoor and patio seating are available.

This is a beautiful restaurant with great staff! The food was pretty good too. I really enjoyed the Grilled Shrimp Pasta! We ordered the Thin Crust Pizza to start, but we didn't receive it so the server said it is on the house and we got it halfway through our main meal. Was nice of them to comp it. However, the pizza looked like a frozen pizza from the store that was put in the oven! We were expecting one of those stone-oven thin crust pizza or something! So we were not happy with the pizza, but it was free so it wasn't a big deal for us haha. Overall, good restaurant at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs, and we would go there again to try other dishes.

We had anniversary reservation at A Different Point of View, which is a fine dining table with an overlook of Phoenix. When we arrived, we had been bumped down to A Different Pointe in Thyme, do to a private party that had booked the entire fine dining restaurant. To be bumped down to a family restaurant off a golf green, with average food and service was not just disappointing, it was unconscionable. We could have stayed close to home and gone to a chain restaurant with comparable food and service if we had wanted a non-special evening. We should have been given a CLEAR choice to cancel or reschedule. The email from Open Table indicating the reservation had been changed was easy to miss due to the very similar names of the establishments. Not cool. We are now 0 for 2 in attempts for special events at a Different Pointe of View. We won’t be trying again.
