Excellent service from Matt, great food, they made the girlfriend’s birthday dinner with family enjoyable. In fact, she said Pod is her new favorite restaurant.
Service was great! We sat in a pod, which my kids loved, but frankly wasn't that fun for me. I would have loved to switch to a regular table -- the light and ambience seemed much nicer -- but my kids got a real kick out of the lights in the pod.
The food was good. All in all a positive experience. I could see this as a fun place for large groups.
Nice bar vibe.
Great staff. Ask to be seated in the pod if you are a group. Good food. Maybe not the most authentic sushi but definitely tasty and good value.
Great martinis, dumplings perfect al dente light and tasty, lamb chop awesome - get a few, interesting wine selections moderately priced, service always well trained and consistent - fun place for celebration...just don't walk more than a couple of blocks from restaurant, upenn is not a safe neighborhood.
always good sushi and other food... service is just ok. many servers and managers around but not super attentive. server was getting trained- which i don't mind but overall the service was just so-so. didn't feel all that welcome (by hostesses) and or taken care of service wise....
Amazing food drinks and ambiance!!!
Made us wait 10 minutes even though we had reservations. Waitress could not accommodate shell fish allergy very well. Vegetarian options were good but definitely not worth the price point. Good ambiance
It was amazing, worth the price and the staff was always around and extremely pleasant!!
Hostess was not very pleasant when sitting us to our table. I remembered really enjoying the calamari salad last time I ate here but it was not as good as I remembered this Time around. The shrimp tempura roll was dry. The crab fried rice was yummy, although we were too full by the time this arrived last to the table. Not sure we’d return here as I’ve had better sushi experiences at non-fancy restaurants.
