    Our dining experience was exceptional - as usual We always return to the Poached Pear, our fave! Asparagus Fries are a game changer! Love the crabcakes! We try to mix it up whenever we go - new fave: porkchop

    We love Poached Pear. It is probably one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. Everything is cooked to perfection. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Try it. You won’t be disappointed.

    A Step Above on the Jersey Shore Tucked away in downtown Point Pleasant, The Poached Pear is a real gem on the Jersey Shore. The cozy atmosphere and beautifully presented dishes—especially the perfectly cooked duck breast and the unique vanilla bean crème brûlée—make it stand out. The staff is friendly and attentive, bringing a polished, thoughtful touch without being intrusive. Every detail shows they truly care. Easily one of Point Pleasant’s best dining experiences.
