This was a great find. The food was great and the drinks were even greater. The fishbowl was strong and tasty. I had the catfish poboy. Delicious. Everyone at the table got quiet when it came to the food.

My second visit. Service improved tremendously perhaps because it wasn't as busy like our first visit. Will return.

The service left a little to be desired on an early Saturday evening, when many people begin to venture out to restaurants.

Though very nice, I thought the service was very slow and I was surprised there was no french bread or any bread on the table when we ordered our gumbo--real NOLA-style restaurants know this and get it right.

The drinks were somewhat strong and the food was decent. I would go again, but it might be a minute before I do...

We had 2 o'clock reservations for a birthday celebration. Sunday. The staff never greeted us when we arrived. After several minutes of just standing and waiting We had to go find a host and asked if they would seat us and they said give us a second and we waited another 5 to 10 more minutes and still nothing. When we finally left and tried to book elsewhere OpenTable required us call the restaurant to cancel the reservation. On the phone we were told that we had to cancel online. I informed them that we could not cancel on open table but had to call the restaurant. I told them that We were there in the store, the person that answered the phone seemed to be unaware that we had arrived and left. Then he told us that it was busy and that they were trying to get to us. But no one said a word to us. The wait staff and host walked by us several times with out saying a single word to us. When I told him we were there but left because they were not ready, they said that they were busy but added that our reservations were at 2pm. I expressed that we were only 5 mins late and I told him that I fail to understand how they would've been better able to serve us if we had been there 5 minutes earlier. We arrived between 2:05 or 2:08 for a 2:00 reservation and we didn't leave until about 2:20. They never released the reservation. This was an unfortunate and avoidable experience. It was also my birthday celebration. We've been there twice and have never had this kind of service.

Service was Great, food was sub-par. The drink menu was fun and tasted great! Our dinner was not very good even though we stuck to their specials. I would meet for drinks again but would eat elsewhere.

Being from Louisiana we decided to stop in and see what it was all about! The atmosphere was fantastic, we enjoyed it! The iced tea and Diet Coke were a little funny tasting. The red beans and rice was really yummy along with the chicken alfredo that was amazing. The catfish basket with fries was very nasty looking that we did not even taste it. The fish was very dark, and greasy. Besides the fish, our experience was good. Just don't get anything that is fried because it probably won't be good.

Bought a Groupon for brunch for 4. It was ok. The website makes you think it's nicer than it is. Three of us got our food and our 4th had to wait 10 more minutes before his food arrived. Ask for a bloody mary but they were out of tomato juice. Asked for coffee but they don't offer it??? I mean who doesn't have coffee when you offer a brunch? Po boys were kinda dry. The bottomless mimosas were the best thing they had. Since we had a groupon at a good price it was worth it but not worth going back at regular price

The food was tasty, the drinks were delicious (although the Hurricanes were a little too sweet for my taste), the service was attentive, and the prices were very reasonable. What more could you ask for?

The food was somewhere between fair and good, and the mimosas were too heavy on very sugary orange juice and too light on the champagne. The servers were friendly and the service was prompt. The restaurant was clean. It had a fun vibe, but was quite loud.

Good neighborhood spot. Kitchen is slow; customer service could be improved, and the sticky tables upstairs are kind of gross. However, if you want a shrimp basket - go! Po Boy's are decent; the bread is fresh, but really doughy. And, the onion rings HIT!

This place is more like a bar than a restaurant. The downstairs is a takeout place. Upstairs there is some seating and a bar. We ordered oyster po' boys and they were okay but not as good as many I've had. The grits were watery and tasteless.

The restaurant had a great selection of southern cooking. Everything we ordered was great. I especially loved the gumbo! It was hearty with the right amount of heat..
The po-boy sandwiches were creative. I definitely will go back!

They had a kitchen staffing problem at lunchtime on a Monday but the waiter was attentive and apologetic and the food was delicious. Would try again and possibly rate higher - expect it was not a regular problem.

Super fun place with great food and strong, tasty drinks. My spouse and I had a relaxed, delicious meal here last Sunday evening. The decor is adorable, with a bit of a cozy, home-y feel with lamps and window shutters decorating the ceiling. It feels very much like the space could have been an old row house with all the brick. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very kind, helpful, and made great drinks--strong and enjoyable. The food came out quickly and was well-prepared. We tried the Po Boy Jim on H and the Rasta (mine), one with fries, one with onion rings. Both sides were delicious, my spouse was very pleased with the seafood on his, and the overall flavor and texture of mine was surprisingly delicious. To get a vegetarian patty definitely made in house is always a joy, and this lived up to all the expectations. Very fun place with great energy. Would gladly go back for dinner. We did also go for brunch a separate time and waited over an hour for a table (with a reservation). So I would not be inclined to go back for brunch, but would definitely recommend for any other occasion! This is a wonderful neighborhood joint.

The service is challenging. We went at peak brunch time on a Saturday afternoon so barely got recognized. Everything was slow in coming but eventually what seemed like an earnest apology was given. The food made up for it. Outstanding. simply delicious. Everyone in my party was pleased.

The food was ok, the online menu didn't match the available menu at the restaurant. The service was horribly slow and the manager didn't seem to really care when our table requested to speak with management. I will never visit this dive again.

The mimosas were unlimited, which was great. However, the mimosas did not have a lot of alcohol. It taste more like juice. The food that we ordered was not that great. The French toast was a little disappointing due to the bread that was used.

I wouldn't recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. The service was horrible from start to finish. We were "greeted" at the door by six workers seated at a table facing the door who felt it was to much of them to speak. When asked where the restroom was all they could muster up was a finger point. Everything was downhill from there. First entree arrived at 8pm and the last arrived at 8:42. When speaking with the manager on duty all she could muster up was a silly 10% off of a $13 meal for the inconvenience. It's rundown on the inside, and there is no ambiance at all. The food was ehh, nothing even worth writing about. Needless to say don't waste your time here.

Overall amazing. There was a little mix up with the groupon. They should probably call the company and change the details but it was still a great value. The server/ bartender was amazing. She had a full bar and tables and she still rocked it. Luckily her staff helped out when they could. The decorations are cute and the food was mostly good. I would have preferred hollandaise of the crab Benedict because i swore it said it came with it. Instead they had a side of aoili which was good. I would have loved both. Other then that the food was great! crab was perfect and very tasty. The mimosa needed some help. Its like drinking a huge glass of sugar. There was too much OJ and grenadine. I am particular and probably a snob about mimosas needing to be lighter in color. As OJ should really just add a hint of color. LIke i said though it was worth it even with that.

We came for Saturday brunch and it was a bust. Not sure if it was just a bad day or it's usually better service & food. No one attended to us even though we had a reservation and ended up sitting at the bar after 40 mins after they offered us a random table in the back (which we saw a few people decline while we were waiting). There was a miscommunication about the Groupon deal, so it actually didn't cover unlimited mimosas & 2 entrees so we ended up paying a little bit more. Food was mediocre at best (we had to have both dishes sent back because it was burnt and cold the first time around). We ended up not taking full advantage of the unlimited drinks because the food also took about an hour... overall, can't say we will be back.
