Best Of Bucks Sunday Brunch at its finest!

I reserved a table for two on-line since I was already looking at your website.
When we arrived, we were greeted nicely and then escorted to a booth at the bar, which we turned down. We saw open tables adjacent to the bar area and requested a better choice, which was granted.
To us, the food was just average and I am sure you can do better. One negative point was the mashed potatoes which looked like cafeteria style (served using an ice cream scooper).
Server was very nice, attentive and we tipped well for the good service.
After dinner, we bumped into the manager asking if our visit was OK and mentioned it was our first visit and he offered a quick tour. The tour was very nice and we appreciated it.
We found that we probably should have mentioned in the beginning that we came to the restaurant for our 35th wedding anniversary dinner, and had we known, requested a table in the back which had a more romantic feel.
We dined with friends to celebrate my birthday. We had a drink at the bar first, my friend and I had watermelon martinis that were yummy! Our dinner was fabulous! Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. We all loved our entrees and our appetizers and we shared a chocolate lava cake for dessert that was awesome! It was a perfect evening! Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or for any night where you just want a good meal in a very nice atmosphere!
I have recently moved to Hilltown and discovered Plumsteadville Inn. Great food, great atmosphere and location, friendly service...in a nutshell we love this place. But...sorry...service is sooo slow!!
I have read other reviews where people with reservations had to wait up to or more than 30 minutes for a table. This seems to be the norm more than the exception in the reviews and sure enough for the past 3 visits we waited about 15 minutes for a table (with a reservation)and once seated another 15 minutes for drinks. And a lot of empty tables. Management needs to figure out the whole reservation thing and let parties without reservations wait. Especially when reservations are made for families with small children.
Brunch was AMAZING! Lots of options and everything was delicious. Definitely will be back.
Visited on March 24, 2018 and one of the specials was Halibut with a Siracha cream sauce with plum tomatoes and lump crab meat. It was absolutely delicious. Fresh and the fish was light and the cream sauce had just the right kick to it. Overall I would reccommend a visit to enjoy the food. Will certainly be back. Our server was very pleasant and attentive to our needs.
Atmosphere is cozy, food was very good. Service was great, drink prices were a bit high, which added an additional 30.00 to the overall bill. All in all I would highly recommend this restaurant. I plan on going back with family and friends
Great Service & Great Food!
We had great food and service
New to the area. This is a great place for any occasion. Good food.
We had a really nice experience eating brunch to celebrate a family birthday. We were in an overflow room that was noisy but the main dining rooms are beautiful there. The buffet was amazing. LOTS of choices and everything was fresh, attractive and delicious. We had to wait a long time for our check and eventually ask the manager to get it for us, otherwise a very enjoyable experience.
Service was great, all staff were warm and friendly. Both apps (spinach artichoke dip and Bavarian pretzels were awesome, as well as the entrees we ordered. We'll def be back again soon!
Daughters 24 bd. Table was privately located but not away from remainder of bar room. Very enjoyable. Server was outstanding. we related to her and enjoyed her conversations.
Food and drinks were delicious.
Will definitely be back
Awesome service and food. Great for casual through upscale dining. Highly recommend for any occasion.
Restaurant packed because of power outage in area. Very noisy. Food cool and salty. Staff probably overwhelmed.
Overall a great experience...only complaint was the dining room was VERY loud...may be a good idea to break up the room with privacy screens or better insulation. Went there to celebrate our anniversary...will definitely go back!
Nice place good food
Excellent place to go for "date night", quiet and great food. Service staff is always friendly and accommodating. We've been here several times over the past few months and have never had a poor experience. Go if you have the chance.
Went to Plumsteadville Inn for Valentine's Day. Overall, it was very good, but the meal was slow to come out. We have been there before in the past, and never had any issues (nor did it appear others did), so we believe it to be an isolated occurrence.
We would (and will) go there in the future. Very good pub food and comfort food.
Great place to go for Valentines Day dinner!
The food and service was excellent even though the restaurant was very crowded.
Incredible time. My fiance and I went for Valentine's dinner. They did an unbelievable job with extra little perks and free dessert and champagne. Only been here a few times, but never have a bad time.
Courteous and friendly service. Varied menu with reasonable prices. Great food.
Birthday it was perfect!
Food and cocktails were great. Children running the reception was frustrating. We were sat 30 mins after or reservation time even though we arrived 10 mins early.
We went to the Plumsteadville Inn after not having been there for many years. We were so impressed with our meal and our service. My scallops were tender and tasty and my husband's steak was excellent. We were in the room behind the bar and could not hear a sound, although it was full of people. The decor is beautiful and all in all, a wonderful evening was had by us and our friends.
Delicious brunch with a great variety of food and desserts!
Excellent spot. Food is always decent and the atmosphere is local and great!
Disappointed. Server friendly but inattentive. As soon as meal was served she came by and asked how was our meal. Had not taken first bite. Discovered that our potatoes were cold, butter did not even begin to melt. Asparagus barely warm. My wife's prime rib appered to be cooked as ordered but not warm. My filet and daughters scallops were hot and very good. Waitress never came back, we tried several times to get her attention. Asked hostess to sent server over when she seated a party near us. She never followed up. Finally my wife left the table in search of our server and encountered a manager. He took our potatoes and wife's prime rib back to kitchen and apparently spoke to server
Medium cooled prome rib came hot, but on the well done side. Potatoes returned hot, but slightly dry. Appreciate that manager did not charge us for one dinner but very disappointed with the overall experience. Server and folks in food prep area really dropped the ball.
Food was great tonight and our waiter was really nice and attentive!
So, this was New Year's Eve. They overbooked, we were seated almost one hour after the reservation. Ok, it's New Year's Eve... got it. However once seated we were greeted by our server almost immediately. It went downhill from there. Bar service was VERY slow. Food was not up to par either and slow to come. My "medium" filet was way past well done, tough and barely warm. My wife had the Prime Rib that looked good. The live music was very good but the food and service (not our server, but the service in general) was very poor. They really bit off more than they could chew for New Year's Eve. We expect it will be better on a "normal" weekend or weekday. I would stay away on these special nights.
Went for New Years Eve. Very disappointing. After waitress took our drink order, we asked for bread. Had to ask twice. Took 25 minutes to get. She was not very attentive. My wife ordered filet. It was not well done as requested. Sat by a window. Drafty and chilly. It appears they overbooked.
The food and service was excellent. There was a large New Year’s Eve crowd, but the food and service remained consistent. I recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
We booked a reservation 2 weeks in advance of New Year’s Eve. We received a call 2 days before to confirm our reservation and telling us basically we had a hour and a half to eat and be out for the next party. When we arrived we were seated at a high top (the only high top) in the bar area in front of the side door. I questioned why we weren’t at a regular table.. we were told that they could move us mid meal If something else became available. I knew we would not be moved.. There were a few open tables for the majority of our meal. We dealt with people walking past us the whole time, and the people waiting in the bar area standing up against our table. The food came out hot, but the portions were very small. Food is average at best, but we were still very hungry so we got dessert. Dessert was tasty, but portion also small. We left hungry. Very disappointed. We do not get out often but for a special occasion like NYE, we would expect to have a better seating arrangement. We certainly should have been warned ahead of time that we were assigned to a bar table. Very Uncomfortable, not really worth the money we spent. We will not be back. Advice – Historic Piper Tavern is less than 10 minutes away..go there instead!!
UPDATE. we received a complimentary gift card and we were asked to come back. We will try again. I appreciate that they took time to make it right
We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food on New Year's Eve.
Such a wonderful experience. The food selection was great. So many choices of small plates as well as large. The service was excellent. Our waitress was so engaging and took the time to talk to us. We will definitely be back again soon.
A hostess who turned people away while there were still seating available, food that was cool and warm in the same dish speciality soup that was not hot and a waitress that was more interested in frequent customers than new ones.
We have enjoyed many Christmastime dinners here in the past. One year our reservations were cancelled the day before our dinner and the restaurant closed for a few years. It has reopened and the food is delicious but the ambiance is much more casual - more like a sports pub. We will return for the food but the elegance is gone.
I'm always amazed at the volume they can handle without food quality or meL service suffeting.
We dine at the Plum often, love their Chicken Parm, it's the best anywhere. Service is usually very good. A bit noisy for someone with hearing aids.
Good food, service and atmosphere. Seating was ready before our reservations.
