Best Of Bucks Sunday Brunch at its finest!

We had a very nice experience. Server was fabulous, friendly, attentive, helpful. We had 4 kids with us, she was great with them. The room we were in was great, quiet, private. We were. Celebrating our daughters birthdays. The server acknowledged the fact. Nice nice time!
Reliably good crab cakes, interesting beers. We chose to eat outside in early July. More road noise than we expected, but a nice setting nevertheless.
We haven't been to this restaurant for over 20 years. We sat in the room with the tv's, so it was very different . On our next visit, we would like to sit in the more formal area.
Overall the food was very good. I would definitely recommend. So many choices.
Wonderful as always!
The restaurant was great but open table messed up the time. We had a res for 2:00 and the restaurant had it down for 10. They told me they had problems that day with open table.
Loved this place! Busy Father's Day Brunch. But staff was friendly, accommodating & attentive (esp. Derrick)
For a $28 steak I would expect a little more. Taste was bland
Good as always. Has become a family favorite.
Our dinner was a graduation celebration. They were
Very accommodating with handicapped access and when we needed to push the reservations back due to graduation ceremony running late. Wait staff was excellent and dinner delicious. Accomodated vegetarian and another special request. Will be coming back, for sure!
Made a reservation. Was seated directly by the speaker of the acoustic guitarist.
When asked to move, we were told all tables were reserved. Tables remained empty during our entire meal. Food was average. Price was more than average.
Good as always
Larger party gathering for a celebration- we were seated in the dining room that was encircled with large-screen TVs. Even though that gave a "sports bar" theme to the room, it was very cozy and the menu is finer quality than you would get at most places that strive to be a sports bar. The service was outstanding, from the waiter to his support staff. A myriad of dishes were ordered in our party- from steak, scallops, and veal- to burgers and croissant sandwiches. Everyone agreed that their dish was delicious! A good testimony that everything from a sandwich, to an appetizer, to a Dinner entree will not disappoint. We will return!
So much fun. My girlfriend and I wanted to go to a random spot off a whim for our one year. It was such a perfect find. We had so so much food and it was worth every penny. I can't believe how cheap it was for such GIGANTIC portions and delicious quality. We will be back VERY shortly. If there was anything negative to say I would say it's pretty hectic around dinner time, but that's to be expected for a place this awesome. Don't miss it!! And get dessert. I never do when I go out, but the chocolate bread pudding was out of this world!
My wife and I have frequently dined at Plumsteadville for about 5 years, and have generally been satisfied. Today we were very disappointed. I ordered a bottle of their best Chardonnay - #110 Went Riva Ranch Vineyards, which retails for about $20, but is priced at $43 at Plumsteadville. When the wine arrived, it was a bottle of Wente Morning Fog, an inferior wine and about 25% less expensive. When I questioned the manager, he simply responded that they "must have switched it on him." He did not offer a price adjustment, or even offer searching for the correct wine. We also questioned our waitress, and she said she mentioned it to the manager, but again, no adjustment. This "bait and switch" ruined the dining experience. To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off intermittently throughout our meal. Again, no apology of any sort. I'm not sure I will return!
I was very unhappy with this establishment. We had reservation at 2pm for Mother's Day Brunch we arrived at 1:50 and we were seated at 2:30. Manager stated we would not be rushed however by 3:05 we were asked if we were done eating because they wanted to break down because dinner was going to be served at 4pm. I wanted this to be special for my mother who is 86. I was very disappointed. I must say that our waitress was just wonderful she was the best.
Mother's Day brunch was phenomenal, food choices were abundant and everything tasted out of this world. Great value at 22 bucks. Absolutely loved it.
The food was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The service was marginal (but we were there on a busy night). Honestly, if you're looking for something in the neighborhood that delivers a modern dining experience in an historic inn, I recommend Piper Tavern over The Plumsteadville Inn.
The food was very good; the service very bad. We had to wait for 15 minutes past our reservation time whcih happens. Once we were seated it took more than 45 minutes to get our food.
We eat at the Plumsteadville Inn fairly often and always have a nice meal and here. It has a nice atmosphere and good food. The menu is great as it something for everyone.
Service was ok until near the end of the meal when our server was leaving for extended periods. Then it became obvious she was gone and paying the bill became a ridiculous scene.
Every time I come to the Plumsteadville Inn the food, staff, and overall time is wonderfully delicious. Our waiter was very professional and friendly. He offered great suggestions and always smiling. The staff is always pleasant and friendly.
Everyone in our party was pleased with their dinner entree. One person expressed disappointment with the lamb chops which had too much fat (not trimmed off), but they were cooked perfect (medium). Our server, Lisa, was excellent.
Asked for a quiet area and got a great table. Food was fantastic and our server was fantastic. Professional, attentive and so professional.
One of the best nights out in a while. Was very fun!!!
The meal was excellent as always!! I have never had a bad meal here!
There's casual dining as well as the formal dining areas, has a wonderful outside dining area when it's open. Happy Hour's fun, bar gets quite "rowdy" and people watching is great ;-)
Overall really great experience! Excellent food, great for kids. Wait staff was very pleasant. Just took a long time for food and check.
Lovely Colonial decor, we sat in a cozy , quiet, small dining room off the noisy bar area . Our server was very attentive , our meal prepared just right. We enjoyed our late lunch very much. We've been here for Sunday brunch previously and we were not disappointed with this dining experience. We plan to go there again.
Wonderful staff and exceptional food! We will absolutely be back!
Made a reservation via OpenTable and at the restaurant was shunted to the worst table in the restaurant even though many better tables seemed open. I questioned and it turns out you have to reserve the room you wish to dine in but that is not identified on OT. The food was good enough and service friendly. Would go back and get a better table next time.
Went on a Sunday afternoon. Food was ok, soggy fries. Terrible service, one waiter for a whole room of about 20 diners.
We were celebrating our 23rd anniversary. The food, service and ambiance were perfection.
Great place great food. Enjoyed our dinner with close friends.
Celebrating our anniversary on St. Paddys Day. Bar was crowded, but our table was nice and quiet. Food was great as were the drinks.
Heather, our server, was excellent. Attentive without being intrusive. Calamari badly undercooked though the Thai sauce accompanying it was outstanding. Entrees were excellent as were the bar drinks. Disappointed that no mention was made for my 9 year old daughter's birthday even though we mentioned it on our Open Table reservation. It's those details that keep patrons loyal and appreciative. We weren't looking for anything free, just a Happy Birthday. Attention to details matter. Otherwise, a nice evening
As always my family love to go for their Sunday brunch. Never a bad meal there.
We brought our kids and Grnd kids ages 3 and 4 and found it to be very kid friendly. The selections for brunch were impressive and the service fort rate. We have always liked the Plumbsteadville Inn and come often. We apprecaite your service and value!
Great food, great service, and very nice ambiance!
Our server, Hannah, was outstanding! First time there - met some friends we haven't seen in a long time - nice place to catch up - our only complaint was the live music in the bar was a bit too loud to have a conversation in the dining room attached to it - which was where we were sitting
Great place for brunch, happy hour, dinner. Always delicious. Never disappoints!
The Plumsteadville Inn is one of our favorite places to dine. The food is superb and the wait staff are great. I would definitely recommend this establishment to my friends and family.
