Ate outdoors on a mid-50's evening. There were no heaters. Outdoor seating was close to the highway, so noise was intrusive. Food and service were excellent. Probably return but in warmer weather.
We eat here every week and enjoy everything about it . One exception is the sun room where we feel it gets occasionally loud . But the food and service is always exceptional.
My first dinner out in over a year was wonderful. My family and I were seated next to the beautiful fireplace and the ambiance was delightful. The staff was friendly and professional, and our meals were delicious! I look forward to dining at the Plumsteadville Inn again very soon!
Great food and wonderful service! Will definitely be back!
Food was good. Enjoy the atmosphere and service. Ordered prime rib, is good but could be tastier or larger portion for the price. It would be nice for you to include a salad with an entree' and the portion size could be a bit larger. Dessert, service, waitress was outstanding.
The Plumsteadville Inn has become a favorite place to go for my family. Great food. Awesome service. So adorable. Cannot recommend enough. Also is so clean and you feel safe going.
Their specials never disappoint. And thrilled that the brussel sprouts are back on the menu!
They do everything right especially the personnel who couldn’t be more attentive and more friendly. This is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere!
Good meal and live music. The live music was a little loud because our table was close but that’s no big deal.
Great meal, wonderful service, socially distanced seating — we’ll be back!
We love the PI! I’m not sure we have 50 characters of things to say about it but since open table wants 50 characters, they get 50 characters,
Food was average despite being pricey. I had the wedge salad and dressing was not to my liking. Very sour. Everyone else I was with liked their meals.
server was excellent , pot pie was not. others enjoyed their dinner.,price was great.
Great place. Excellent food and service. Great drinks from the bar.
The food was really good and our server was fantastic. She was quick, witty and really took good care of us. I would get the smokehouse burger again in a heartbeat.
Love the bar area...food was delicious.
Grandsons birthday. Staff and our waitress were Great
Great Sunday brunch. Sitting outside was lovely but a little loud with busy intersection.
Everything was great, I Loved my Birthday Dinner!!
Food and service very good. Great local business to patronize.
Thanks to Athena for the great service and Janelle behind the bar did great too!! Food was Delicious as always!!
Great place to dine with friends! Food was delicious & our server was excellent!
They did not have our reservation even though we made it through open table, the service was ok and the food was just ok.
We enjoy dining in quaint, charming inns and this certainly fit the bill. Our server was excellent - attentive and friendly. The food was good, especially the mini sliders appetizer, but my entree was not exceptional. I ordered the chicken Marsala which could have had more flavor. I did like the amount of mushrooms, though.
My husband had the Chilean sea bass special which he really enjoyed. We had hoped to order the blueberry swirl cheesecake advertised as a special but they had run out by the time we were ready for dessert. Since our reservation was for 6PM, we thought that was early for a dessert to be unavailable. We did really appreciate, though that the dessert we did order was complimentary (we were celebrating our anniversary). There was a big birthday celebration going on near us and we were thrilled that the noise level was not a problem. Overall, we found our experience to be pleasurable and would certainly consider going back.
Relaxing dining experience.
We have always enjoy the food here whether it is lunch or dinner, and usually the service is top-notch. There was just two of us for an early dinner, and the place was busy but not packed. From the get-go, the waitress was not very friendly nor interested in helping us order or checking in with us (or getting a good tip!). My friend wanted dessert but after waiting almost 10 min ,long after our dinner plates had been taken away, we decided to just ask for the check. Disappointing!
The hostess did a lovely job greeting us and took the time to escort me to the restroom. Our server also did a wonderful job and the food was fresh, delicious, and presented elegantly!
Food was delicious but service was a bit slow.
Love The Plumsteadville Inn! Celebrated our daughter’s special birthday!
I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and and it was the worst wine I’ve ever had. We also sat in the bar area and they had a musician who was very good and talented but he was way too loud it was hard to enjoy. The food was great though.
I hate to rate it this low because the food was really good. The main hostess at the front door was so rude. I was blown away. She barely looked up when guests walked in, answered the phone with an attitude, complained about guests she had seated in front of the entire group of people waiting to be seated and complained about her manager. The service at the table was okay. Had the pretzels and burgers. Both were really good. Tito’s Cosmo was so bad I couldn’t drink it. Probably won’t be back.
Nice restaurant/bar in the country/far suburbs of Bucks County above Doylestown PA, has a fancy dining room (which was empty) and a cozy bar/fireplace which was more pleasant and bustling. Food/menu the same and was very good. Will return, and try outdoor patios in nicer weather.
We were recommend to go for their brunch it was EXCELLENT. will be returning for dinner menu in the future.
We enjoyed the food. There was a mixup when we got seated and no wait staff were assigned to our table so after 20 min we asked for help and were taken care of quickly. I thought the food was good and the value was good for a Sunday brunch menu with drinks.
1st time here, everything was very good. Service, food and ambiance. Would love to come back and sit at the bar and enjoy the live music. We will be back!
Great cozy atmosphere with fireplace in the background. The chef was very accommodating when I asked for my salmon to be cooked different from the menu. Server was attentive but not overwhelming. Ordered red velvet cake for dessert which was stale and unacceptable. I talked with our server who had no issue removing it from the check and apologized its lack of freshness.
We went here for Valentines day, which we knew would be busy, so had a reservation for 6:00 pm. We were seated just before 6:30, so things were a little slower then we had hoped. We had seen an ad on the restaurant website there was a special 4 course dinner for 2, but upon being seated, there was no mention of the special. When the waitstaff returned we asked about the special, which was the reason we chose the restaurant, and were handed a menu that detailed the offering. When the wait staff returned to takeout order, my wife ordered and was told it was sold out. Would have been nice to know that when we got the menu. Also selling out of a special entrée for the holiday by 6:30, seemed a little odd. We ordered other items off the original menu and the food was very well prepared and served hot. Atmosphere was very nice and it was quiet, so we could easily talk, without having to yet. Nice restaurant, but could have been better
The hostess had an attitude. The food was just ok. I couldnt believe we had to share from one plate, everything but the entree (this was the Valentine special). We asked for more plates and were given more bread plates. Dessert was one small slice of cake that we, again, had to share. I didnt realize this is a noisy hamburger and beer place. Dont expect fine dining.
Valentine Day was amazing ! $100 for 2 ! Filet and crab stuffed Lobster tail and Prime Rib was great ! The shrimp cocktail and mozzarella with tomatoes and warm bread rolls and Chocolate cake.... omg we were stuffed and took some home ! One of the best dinners . The social distancing made us feel safe . It was our first time there and we will be back !
Our Brunch was awesome. Food, atmosphere, staff all exceptional. We hadn't been there for a while but we will be back very soon, thank you and keep up the great work
