The only thing I didn’t like was that the hostess told us as she was seating (late) by the way, that there was another party coming in at 1:00. I have never heard this before. I don’t want to feel rushed when I go out to eat!

                                                                                                                              We arrived at 4:30 PM and the restaurant was very quiet. The noise level increased as the evening progressed. A dress code for the wait staff may want to be considered. The food quality is excellent and our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. Unfortunately, the bar had not stocked enough Sparkling Rose and we could only enjoy one glass.

Had a 10am reservation and were seated by about 10:15. The coffee was good but the waitress was swamped so we ended up helping ourselves to refills from the station. The kids thoroughly enjoyed all the deserts.

                                                                                                                              Never been there for lunch before, only dinner, which has always been outstanding in every way. Not so much lunch. It wasn't crowded, and yet our service alternated between super slow and very rushed. We had two elderly people in our party who eat very slowly, as most older people do, so definitely shouldn't be rushed. My vegetable was wrong and baked potato was served without any butter or sour cream, and the waitress flew off before I could tell her. I waited several minutes for her to come check on us but she didn't for a long time so I ate it anyway. Waitresses need to be trained better as well as the chefs.

                                                                                                                              First time at PI after several friends gave it good recommendations. We were not disappointed. It was busy on a Friday night but were seated right on time for our reservation. Menu is extensive and reasonable prices. Our waitress was very good, we enjoyed the meatloaf, chicken Marsala and etufee. The guitar player was nice ambiance. Great experience, we will definitely come back again. Good job Plumsteadville Inn, you did not disappoint!

We were waited on quickly. Our meal was brought out in a timely manner. We enjoyed a very nice T-bone steak and Chicken Parm. Our waitress packed up our leftovers and labeled them for us. We definitely plan to return.

But they were clearly understaffed for the outside area. We were forgotten a few times by our waitress. We even had to go inside to the desk and request our check at the end. And nobody seemed very concerned. Most of the staff seemed frazzled. I understand the staffing shortage, but I would expect some apologies or a manager to check things out. I will think twice about returning. Not a great first impression.

The separate dining areas give it an intimate feel. The food and drink offered good value, and when my chicken salad came incomplete, the wait staff corrected it quickly. Friendly staff. I think we would have enjoyed our experience more if we were seated in the dining room. Our food was fair, fish and chips and chicken parmigiana. Friendly staff.
