The Plumsteadville Inn has once again established itself as one of Bucks County's favorite places to frequent. The Plum takes pride in being the place for all occasions. Whether that be date night, family gathering, to watch the game, or for a special occasion, The Plum has the atmosphere and menu to cater to every one.
During our recent visit my husband had the Swordfish special and it was the best swordfish we ever ate. Teriyaki salmon and strawberry/spinach salad was very good as well.
During the summer we love their happy hour on the patio.
I have brunch at the Plumsteadville Inn often & every time its fantastic! We love it there!
We had a very nice dinner. Everything was prepared as we asked. Waitress was friendly and efficient. They also had a musician that was very entertaining. Also have a good meal there.
Our go to place. Great for 2 as well as groups food is solid every time.
Mark is awesome. Always looking after his customers
Had the Sunday Brunch Buffet. May be a problem if you do not recognize the actual food offering, you may have to guess what it is since about 1/3 of the items were not labeled. This could be a problem for dinners with food alergies. Overall the visit was impressive, and the food selection was large, and delicious.
2nd time we've been here and service was poor, food not so great. After waitress came to our table, she dropped off coasters and said she would be right back to take our drink order. 20Minutes later, she finally took it. Ordered the prime rib at $28 which comes with tasteless mashed potatoes and hard brocolli, does not come with a salad. That will cost you $6 additional if you want a caesar salad. Whoa, $42 for 1 person without a salad including a 6 oz glass of wine which cost $8, outrageous. This place is over rated. The only good thing I can say is we made a reservation on-line and didn't have to wait. Sorry, won't be back anytime soon.
Had a very special night with my SWEETHEART and we couldn't have a nicer time.
We had a great time except our server hardly ever came near us. We had to ask a manager to get her for us.
Our waitress, Ashley was great. But the noise level was horrible. When the guitar player was playing you literally had to scream to get heard. It was very distracting. The food was good but I'm not sure I would go back unless there was not music. Previously, we were seated in the bar when there was a piano player and it was the same thing. Way too noisy which is a shame because the food is good.
The service and food were outstanding. Marc and Erin always make you feel welcome!!
It was a lovely brunch. Will definitely be returning.
Family in town
Everything was spot on! From making the ease of making the reservation,, the quality of the service and the food, the variety of the menu choices including items necessary for people with special dietary needs, and the reasonable prices, all made for a great celebration! Thank you Plumsteadville Inn for yet another great dining experience.
The wait staff were very friendly but the omelet chef and the person carving meat were unfriendly and rude
The Sunday Brunch was wonderful. The food was delicious and the presentation was well done. I had an omelette custom made by a nice young man. He was making three at once, so we didn't have a long wait and they all were done to perfection. The rest of the food available was very good too. Our party all enjoyed the Brunch.
This is our " neighborhood" restaurant but the Sunday Brunch is right up there with the finest fine dining establishments. Service is most pleasant. No rush here. Selection of hot foods is creative, beautifully prepared and presented. Everything is fresh. The dessert table and chocolate fountain are right up front as a reminder to leave room for the sweets! A great place for a luxurious and comfortable way to relax on a Sunday with family and friends.
Fun time! Great music!
I really love it there. Cozy, broad menu, good prices, great service. The only constructive criticism? The brussel sprouts have a terrific flavor but could be firmer and less mushy. The asparagus was drenched in oil which made me feel bad about eating it. But that's it! Rest was great. Kids loved their food and the desserts are huge! It's a go-to for our family.
Always a great brunch selection. Looking forward to going back again.
We had to wait 35 minutes past our reservation time and passed over by a party with a later reservation (same size group)
Bucks Cty is lucky to have many historic Inns like this. It is one of the biggest and maybe not the best, but certainly better than most. Nice, lively bar area (with live music, weekends, but there are more quiet side dining areas that we enjoy more, and great service. Pretty standard, but very varied menu with above average fare. Disappointing dessert selections.
Great brunch! There where many items to choose from! Body Mary’s and mimosas 3$. This is the best brunch around!
This is the best brunch that I have found in the tri-state area!
Constantly changing delicious featured selections as well as consistently wonderful staples!
Very comfortable place to relax and enjoy a great meal that is complemented by friendly and efficient wait staff!
Once you go you will always find your way back!
I was not impressed with the service. Made reservation ahead of time and still had to wait for a table.
Overall the food was good, we had lobster tails, two of them were a little burnt on outside so a little tougher to chew. Sitting next to fireplace was great for my wife since it was cold outside. Bar was busy so our waiter apologized for the wait for beers. Cheesecake was excellent. Shrimp cocktail seem a bit over priced for 5 shrimp. We had a good time with only the two of us instead of the whole family.
The staff was welcoming, and reserved us a table in a quiet room to accommodate one of our party who is hard of hearing. The menu is varied, with something for everyone. The meatloaf was moist and flavorful, the crab cakes large and full of lump crab, and the veal was tender and delicious. My husband said the mozzarella sticks were some of the best he's eaten, while I found the crème brûlée to be exquisite. The ambiance in the wine room was beautiful, a little more formal than tavern area, but perfect for us. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return to try more of the excellent cuisine. Our server was friendly and attentive without being pushy.
The food was very good but the service was not. It took a while for someone to greet us at our table and even longer for the server to take our order.
Our server was a little slow but they did have a lot of tables. We love the restaurant, food and atmosphere such a friendly staff.
Great spot for Valentines dinner. Table was ready within 5 minutes. Food was very good and devices was also good. The complimentary chocolate covered strawberries were a nice surprise. Definitely will come back
Sorry but I can’t say enough good things about your place
It was good little over priced but good!
Food was great. We ordered the Kobe beef sliders to start and they were tasty with the brioche bun. Also had a side Caesar salad which I could have skipped, nothing special. The entree was the buffalo chicken pasta which was excellent if you like cream sauce . We got there right at 6 and were able to sit right next to the fireplace, perfect for a chilly night!
Great dinner, drinks, and atmosphere. Will definitely go again!
Absolutely amazing! Love ❤️ this place. We will certainly be back!!!
Best brunch in town!!
This is really a sports bar now. I didn’t realize that, growing up in the area and going to the Inn when it was in its original building and was a special place to go. Now it is very loud and crowded and serves primarily bar food. Disappointing.
Our experience at the Plumstead Inn was very good... what made the evening was our hostess Adrianna. I think that was her name. She’s very welcoming and pleasantly engaging.
Great atmosphere with attentive servers providing great food!
Our go to place that never fails. Very happy with it every time.
