   Service at the reception area was very hospitable. Immediately seated at table. Our Server, Michaelene was excellent. She had a wonderful smile and very helpful and attentive throughout our meal. The food was excellent, pork tonkastu cooked perfectly and BeachHouse Salad. perfect amount of assorted vegetables, crab and yup JUMBO PRAWNS. ONOLICIOUS. The Bloody Mary was weak. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and mo'opuna 1- year bday, MAHALO FOR THE COMPLIMENTARY DESSERT! Not expect and appreciated.

   Server was not helpful or attentive. Dishes breaking by server and noise level loud . The hotel beautiful. Really not a good value for what we paid. The food was good but staff was not keeping up with cleaning and hygiene. Would NOT go back !

   We enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast, with a large variety of food options, which included omelettes made to order, beef brisket, Mochi waffles, variety of fresh fruit (papayas, strawberries , cantaloupe, honeydew melon), smoked salmon, salads, variety of breads, pastries, muffins, juices, sausages, eggs, bacon, etc… Our server, Dustin, provided exceptional service and was very friendly and attentive to our needs.

   Food was good and service was very good, food came out a little slow but was worth the wait. Server Leilani was very good and the bus guy was extremely on point with water and iced tea. Sorry did not see his name.

    We had breakfast and it was fantastic. They were great at accommodating my gluten and dairy free needs. The staff was extremely pleasant. My husband, 11 year old daughter, mother in law and I all found different things to eat that were extremely pleasing to our different palates.

    The butterfish was too small for the price and it was that tasty. I was tasting mostly the miso marinade. The seafood plater was overpriced for what we got. The kahala fruit drinks we had was too sweet.

    I had higher expectations for this AYCE seafood buffet since it was at the Kahala Hotel & Resort. The price is $90/pp, which doesn't include coffee or plain ice tea! The steamed dungeness had zero flavor and snow crab legs were very small. They had more dungeness crab as most people asked for the snow crab legs. The salmon, shrimp and maguro nigiri sushi was nothing special. Prime rib was ok. I didn't try the seafood paella or steamed veggies as it looked over cooked & didn't look appealing. Mash potatoes were good. Miso soup wasn't special but for a Friday & Sat, I was hoping for clam or seafood chowder. Personally the only item I felt was exceptional was the miso butterfish! There were 4 different types of desserts, nothing to rave about. I ended up eating vanilla ice milk with Oreo cookie crumbs. We got served our hot towels during our meal because we had to ask for it. Almost forgot to mention, we originally were taken to a table that had the dirty tray stacked with dirty dishes with dirty food on it!!! It literally was behind the head of one of my guests!!! Of course I had to ask to be moved. Poor experience!

    My mainland visitors agree it’s the best buffet, and they have traveled the world. Gorgeous views, first class in every way. Only one thing noticed was the overworked wait staff who had to cover too many tables. But their effort and attitude was full of aloha. Don’t miss this experience!

    Too many flies....will not dine there when seafood is on the buffett. I love this restaurant but never saw so many flies there before.

    The view was wonderful, the food delicious, great service however the table had many flies roving around the food this detracted from the overall experience.

    Excellent food and service as always! Very friendly and attentive staff Pricey yes but the quality of the food, service, and the ocean front view makes it all well worth it. I've had plenty of good experiences at other restaurants but nothing even compares to what you get here Would definitely come back again!

    Wonderful welcome and seating suggestion. Excellent server. Appreciated another server calling a chef by Chef Kyle, instead of the familiar Kyle. She also said that the Kahala was honored to have him on the staff. Good to see people getting along and speaking respectfully. Slight fly problem. Not as bad as the Veranda. Only real downer was the slow pace of replenishing the dessert table. Never got to try three or four items that were on the menu.

    Disappointing. The food was definitely a disappointment and the walk to get your food from our table was far away. The crab legs had no taste and the ham seemed it was from the morning and very dry. Our waiter didn't even wish my mom a "Happy Mother's Day". I had to wait for them to fill the sashimi and desserts.     Seafood buffet day before mothers’s day. Food nice quality, I did not eat the hot dishes but was told they were tasty. The ambiance, the cleanliness and the service all great. It’s an outdoor restaurant in Hawaii so some flies we’re understandable; however at times they were aggressive. But overall lovely time and wear your comfy, loose outfit.

    Took my Mom and sister to lunch for Mother’s Day on Saturday to avoid crowds. It was not too crowded and we were able to have a nice time able to hear each other clearly over the table. We ordered the Miso Butterfish and Tonkatsu which was very good and portions just right. The glass of wine I had was a little pricey and very nice along with the desserts (cheesecake and Passionfruit tart). The wait staff was very polite and attentive (Shu Shu), we all had a great time view was so relaxing , will be back!

    We had a great table at the edge of the lawn, with the sound of the ocean: lovely. We were celebrating 3 birthdays, and the staff did not hurry us, so we were able to enjoy a very agreeable evening outdoors, with delicious food paired with good wine. The Plumeria Beach House is definitely my favorite restaurant in Honolulu.
