Plumeria Beach House
Guests will enjoy Hawaii's beautiful sunshine and stunning coastal view at the Plumeria Beach House. The restaurant is bathed in warm, natural earth tones reminiscent of a comfortable island home, with indoor and outdoor terraces taking full advantage of breezy trade winds. In keeping with the restaurant's promise of keeping things fresh, the dishes are updated seasonally.
the server was kind of rude when i asked for the wifi password but other than that, i absolutely loved everything about the plumeria beach house even though it was raining
This used to be one of my favorites, but no more. Food not hot, small portions, big price, inattentive service.
Every time we eat at Plumeria, it is a wonderful experience. Food is excellent, ambiance is amazing and service is outstanding with Aloha!
Celebrating 2 birthdays
The food was very good but I was disappointed with the service. They had a seafood buffet but my 4 year old twins did not want anything from the buffet so I ordered pizza and spaghetti. My friend also ordered off the menu because she wasn’t too hungry. It took a long time for their food to come and when I asked the waitress she blamed the pizza saying it takes 15 minutes. But when the food came out no pizza! The waitress said someone else took it. Try telling a hungry 4 year old his pizza is going to take 15 more minutes! The manager apologized and offered us free sundaes at my friends urging which was nice but I would have preferred a little more care from our server.
The buffet line for people is too narrow and gets congested easily. When getting desserts is too close to the dining table.
The hot food - prime rib, lamb chop & others were under cook. Especially the lamb! For the price of 90.00 was outrageous!! Even the dessert wasn’t all that. No ice cream! The buffet selections need an overhaul.
Special Valentine’s Day buffet, best buffet I ever experienced. Amazing gourmet quality and inventiveness.
Beautiful setting. Even saw whales.
Made a 8:30 but felt rushed the whole time. The waitress constantly reminded us that the buffet closed at 9. Can't understand why 8:30 is an option if there isn't time to relax and enjoy your meal. Crab legs were VERY SMALL- looked broken like it was the bottom of the barrel. Staff gave attitude when I asked if they had any bigger or fresh batches of crab coming out.
By far, this is the best place on Oahu for casual yet a five star Hawaii experience for breakfast, or lunch. Sitting in the open air setting, looking out at the ocean, blue sky and white sand beach, no Waikiki tourists, none of the hectic noise, this is definitely where paradise happens. My favorite dish is the Kahala Salad with pork belly+ lots of other yummy stuff. I think I’ve had it at least six times.
Can’t wait to go back. Watched the dolphins play B4 lunch. Sat outside with beautiful garden and ocean view. Chicken curry fruit salad for me, hamburger w/ sweet potato fries for guest and cheese pizza for child. We all enjoyed the food.
Valet parking was great.
We had a reservation at 10. Finally got seated at 10.20 even though there were plenty of available table set.
Waited 5 mins for a menu was told your server will be right with you. Well that took another 10 mins. Asked for water. That never came so asked again and ordered food. That took 20 mins for an omelet. It was all wrong and went back. Server disappeared for 15mins and still no omelette. Finally it came like warm at best. Couldn't wait to get out of there but where's the check. Just a terrible service and experience. I'm sticking to Orchids at Halekulani.
We enjoy treating guests to this restaurant; very nice view and great menu or buffet for brunch. Consistent taste and atmosphere.
Great place for dinner. We really enjoyed the scenery...
Family in town
Food was good. Service was great.
Thank you to the Plumeria Beach House for a very nice Sunday brunch.
The seafood buffet wasn't good and yet so expensive. There was a wedding party with combined tables being so loud I could barely hear myself thinking. My waiter also disappeared for almost a half and hour. Would not recommend unless you feel like blowing $80 on a mediocre meal.
Food selection was very limited and taste wasn't there. Crab had no taste. Prime rib didn't look good at all. Sushi not great at all for the price. Garlic chicken was great but paid $60 for the buffet and only the chicken was great not too good. Desserts also not great for the price we had to pay they were pretty to look at but not great. Bread pudding was yummy with the sauce. The service was excellent everyone who waited on us made up for the food. The server who was watching the food actually went out of his way to have the chicken prepared without sesame seeds since I was allergic. Noticed sesame seeds were in some of the foods I'd normally eat but had to avoid. Overall all the staff was great but I'd make some changes to the food selection for the price our tourist pay the food should be excellent.
さすが、The Kahala のPiumeria Beach House！
A lovely place for breakfast; we love the buffet for a special occasion or splurge. We went on Monday though for MLK, Jr., Day after a beach clean-up, and wish the host or server told us that the buffet closes at 11 a.m. on weekdays because our reservation was for 10:30 a.m., and we thought the buffet was open until noon as it is on the weekends (that's the only time we've been before). You'd think that they'd mention that when asking us if we wanted the buffet. So that was really disappointing. We had planned to go up to the buffet at least once more and didn't even get dessert yet before it was closed.
Lovely service and view at this beachside restaurant near Waialae Country Club.
Such a wonderful treat overlooking the beach on a Holiday morning. We had a fun delicious breakfast together as a family with great service. The food selection here isn't huge but each and everything they do have is amazing quality and you know it's going to taste great. They also validate for 4 hours so you can stroll the beach and look at the dolphins with your kids to walk off everything you ate.
Lots of choices, even though they don't have sashimi anymore. You have to go upstairs for twice the price for that. Had friends in town from the mainland and they loved the setting! Will go back again!
Amazing service and perfect atmosphere! Staffs here were all so nice. Definitely I’ll come back here again. Thank you so much!
Seafood Buffet- absolutely outstanding
Saturday Seafood Buffet exceptional! Great birthday experience!
Great value with an amazing backdrop. Lots of choices and a cool buffet.
One of my favorite places to dine with friends and family. Our waiter, Chance, was superb..genuine, intuitive and understanding.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Plumeria. The seafood buffet was amazing. The restaurant was very comfortable and the service outstanding. It’s location on the ocean front was also a major feature of the ambience.
Everything is good except white bread was over cook.
The food was delicious! My only gripe would be that I ordered the lobster roll which had MP on the menu, but I didn't ask how much the MP was. I assumed it would be around $24. They charged $36! I would not have ordered it for that. The curry buffet smelled incredible (and was cheaper than the lobster roll). I will probably order the buffet the next time around.
We love the service and the ala crate breakfast. The ambience is always beautiful.
Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. It was my first time there for lunch, off the menu. Usually I go there for the wonderful buffets. The people that work there are always wonderful.
