One of our founding pillars at White Oaks is our belief in living a healthy, well balanced life. Through every facet of our business at White Oaks Resort & Spa we endeavour to improve human performance whether it involves your body, mind, or even your business and career. At PLAY Bar & Grill we had the opportunity to provide some classic dishes with a twist of healthy. You’ll see whole grains and whole wheat options as well as new ingredients that enhance old favourites and change them to healthier options. Our Play menu complements your efforts in the gym or on the court all in an urban environment that is interesting and family friendly. While we are serious about healthy living, and providing a healthy menu we’ve had fun putting PLAY together and we do realize that no matter what we put on the menu, there will be some that will still want their “fun food” and heaven forbid, white bread! We encourage you to make Play a regular dining spot.

Wait staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Food was enjoyable. Restaurant was busy and was noisy so not really a spot for a quiet, intimate dinner. Good for a quick, inexpensive but nice meal

The food here is so amazing. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they can actually offer several options to enjoy. The flat bread (GF DF) was AMAZING. And our server was one of the best I have had. She was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and accessible. We had a great night.

This was Play’s second chance. We had horrible service last time we went. As it is a neighbourhood restaurant, we wanted to give it another the chance for a Friday night “ go to” place. The food was very good again. But the experience was terrible with appalling service. The manager took our wine off the bill by way of apology but never even came by our table. We will not go here again.

Good service. Server had difficulty making suggestions. Good sandwiches but a restaurant in a hotel of this caliber should be able to make their own chicken fingers. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Fries were cold and salads were very overdressed. Less is more. The restaurant is in the hotel and in the middle of the coldest week on record, I guess you don’t have much choice. Next time will battle the cold and venture outside the hotel.

We had breakfast/brunch when we got there at 11am. Food was good, although a bit expensive. Service was good even when it got a little more busy later on. It has a nice view of the indoor tennis courts

Very impressed with service, food and ambiance. Great food and fair prices. Would tell my friends in a heartbeat. My girl-pals and I have already decided this will be our annual meeting place for our christmas lunch

The food was amazing and the service was great as well! We went on a Friday evening and they had live music as well. The restaurants atmosphere is really ideal for either an intimate evening or just going out with friends.
