The Sunday brunch buffet was amazing! I love this place!
Many different food choices on the menu that were appealing. The food and drinks were delicious. It was so nice sitting by the fireplace on a windy cold night. Would definitely recommend to others and plan to return myself
The food was great. We had the scallops and risotto, ribeye, and the filet special. All were exceptional prepared. The charcuterie board was amazing.
The service was outstanding the manager Paul was welcoming and the host was nice and Greeting too late
My husband had the chef’s special which was held over from Valentine’s Day - it was a pork chop. There was a huge portion which was gristle and fat and inedible. He said something to the waitress who didn’t seem too concerned. All of our other visits have been great — first negative experience.
Limited food choices for a pricey brunch Buffett. View was nice. Service was above average.
Great food and service. Very creative menu and well executed. Awesome Bloody Mary. Small issue with overflow seating in the lobby. Entry doors kept blowing in frigid air from outside. We asked for a table change and we’re lead into the main dining room which had plenty of open tables. On days like yesterday the should fill the main first. All ended well, though. We will definitely be back!
Great food, cozy warm fire, nice view. Service is always prompt.
Best in the area, hands down!
Hands down the best Sunday brunch in our area. Always a treat.
Alway been very pleased with the food and service. Great in the summer looking out on the water. In the winter we love to sit by the fire.
Went and stayed in st joe for a weekend getaway with my wife and the food I ate at Planks will have me coming back to have dinner again! Had the calamari and muscles as the appetizer and they were phenomenal. My wife had the fried chicken and I had the ribeye special. Both were cooked perfectly and the ribeye was as soft as butter a very good cut! Great beer selection and very cozy atmosphere.
The food was fabulous and so was the service. I love how the greeter always makes you feel special and the warm atmosphere is amazing. Elegant dining at a casual level, I have dined here often and am never disappointed. Thank you Planks!
Love this place!!! Have been here for Sunday breakfast and now for dinner. Love the menu... lots of unusual items. Ambience is great! Outdoor eating in the summer. We had great service. Definitely would recommend this restaurant!!
The short ribs were amazing and service was outstanding. It wasn’t super busy since it was later in the evening but for some reason the 3 tables of people were all next to each other - a little space would have been nice.
Food was very good. I had the gobbler and Meyer lemon salad. Gobbler was a nice balance of sweet, spicy, and salty. The Meyer lemon salad was also good, but it's quite lemony.. you need to be a lemon fan to really enjoy it! Service was friendly and accommodating. Winter time forces you to have to eat inside, but I'd imagine it would be much nicer to
It was very nice. Great service, and food was well prepared and tasty. Was disappointed that they had run out of ribs, but plan B was very good. I will definitely be going back.
We spent Christmas Eve here. Everyone had a very nice dinner from burgers to fish to steak. Waitress was perfect for the occasion.
5 stars all the way! Food took a while to get but you could tell it was hand crafted to perfection! Nothing better if you are a foodie!
very good and the coffee was nice. Id recommend especially for a sunday.
The food was good but expensive. Too expensive for what it is. There was no bread offered. Salads were extra. It had very good food but it was really over priced. With just a few extra touches the experience could justify the price.
Planks was a out of town meeting spot for friends. Very nice view with great food and great service. The meat and cheese board appetizer was fabulous, a must have!
Service and food excellent nice table by fire. Can't wait to sit outside in spring. Better than expected for hotel restaurant
A++ experience, food, both entre and deserts fantastic! Special occasion, dinning in front of the fire place with the view of the water. Very nice.
Great service and food was terrific - love the view too
Met up with some old friends and we all enjoyed our lunch in a pleasant atmosphere. The food was very good and glad we chose your restaurant as we had a nice experience.
We had a great meal. Jaime our server was wonderful. She was attentive and professional. The crab appetizer was fantastic and our steaks were cooked perfect. And to top it off the deserts were heavenly.
Fabulous as always! We always love dining here; food never disappoints and service is always friendly. Two thumbs up.
We visited to celebrate our parent’s 40th wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful.
LOUD!!!!! Ugh too loud. It’s like a bar everywhere in the place.
I wasn’t expecting it to be inside a hotel and so small. Our server was nice. The place was a bit loud, but not horrible. The food was okay. The calamari was good, the ravioli was cold - even after being sent back to be warmed up. The burger was good. The taco was okay. It was a fine place if you’re hungry, it just wasn’t what we were expecting.
Had the deconstructed shrimp tamale - INCREDIBLE! Had the Hen and dumplings - BEST ever had. Awesome roasted chicken broth, tender chicken, and real, honest to goodness, dumplings! Celery, carrots and peas in the broth were crunching and the taste of each was distinguishable from the others. Dessert was salted caramel cheesecake with chards of pretzel on top.
Service was top notch, from being greeted to seating, to food advice, delivery, and finish
Everything was delicious
Food was great! Had the pork tenderloin and scallops. The caramel apple martini was perfect!
Loved it. Very nice, and just average sound but not loud and peaceful.
The Pork Ribeye was absolutely amazing! A must order. Very cute cozy spot. I’m sure it’s even better in the summer on the water
Angel was great. Great atmosphere, great food.
Above expectations! Came here for lunch before and it was ok but the brunch is were the heart of the menu comes alive. I would recommend getting a couple items off the menu and splitting them to get a taste of everything. Skip the $20 Bloody Mary because it’s not worth it, the regular price one is just fine.
