Had an incredible lunch! Service was outstanding, food was delicious! The Nashville chicken sandwich was great,as was the chicken wrap. We sat outside and it was so relaxing!
The gentleman server was incredibly nice and attentive. Our food came in a timely manner and it tasted incredible. This was our second visit in 2 days because of how great the food tasted.
It's always a great outdoor dining experience wether with family or with friends.
AMAZING food! We were visiting in from Chicago and a friend recommended this place. It did not disappoint. The crab galore omelet was incredible and the cocktails were so fun. The service was incredible from the hostess to the server. The view was beautiful and it was a gorgeous day too. Highly recommend!
Another beautiful dinner on the harbor. Tried the Halibut Scampi and Wagyu burger; both were great! Service and drinks were superb. Server Tom was very knowledgeable and best wine list around.
Brunch was fantastic!
Menu changed .. used to be good, not anymore . Over priced , won’t come back.
My friends and I got together for a baby shower brunch. The staff was super nice offering a space outside to enjoy the weather and the se service was beyond our expectations and food, as always, good!
No one does Brunch like Plank’s in the area. So many great options and $6 mimosas.
Beautiful place , great service , very friendly , food was very good , a little pricey but great quantity. Good drinks menu . We sat outside which was nice .
Long time customer since the hotel opened...never a bad meal and you can't beat the patio in good weather!
Friends were in town and we needed a place where the kids could run around. The atmosphere was beautiful but the service and the food were just ok
Always a favorite!
We had a great brunch at Planks. We wanted to try the biscuits and chorizo gravy as a side and the staff accommodated the off-menu request for us quickly. We couldn’t decide what we wanted to drink or eat because of the very great variety of deliciously described options. Ultimately we had a cranberry mimosa and blackberry bellinis which we loved! I had the Loco Pepe Benedict and it was phenomenal. Unlike anything I’ve had before! My husband had the traditional Benedict and was raving about the thick ham. It was a chilly day but we were able to sit by the windows for water view, and perhaps the best part of our visit was our waiter Shawn. He was very good with suggestions and accommodating our specific requests for the kitchen, and also did so with great personality and warmth. Bravo, Shawn!
Food was fantastic and the service was great. I definitely recommend the Ruby Champagne!
Our trout was excellent! The spinach had too much garlic for our taste. We were seated up by lobby on a cold day so it was chilly every time entrance door was opened.
But again, the trout was great!
Our hostess, waitress and food were all excellent. One of our favorite places to go as a group.
Pork Chop entree was by far the best I’ve had. Jazz band on Thursday nights make for a great night out.
We had a wonderful time at Planks Tavern! The brunch menu was absolutely delicious. Cocktails are handcrafted and yummy, fun twists on your typical brunch drinks. Wait staff is excellent.
Always great! Always delicious. We’ll be back for sure
The food is fantastic. Great portions and awesome creations. No complaints. I always bring visiting friends and family here. Love sitting and watching the boats come in and the sun set. Order from the amazing drink menu and enjoy your evening. This is as good as it gets.
Amazing food, great and friendly service. Love Planks!!
Service was slow, waited 20 minutes for waitress to come for the first time. Took forever to get a bill at the end, had to flag someone else down. It seemed as though we were sat in an area that belonged to no servers. Disappointing service ruined good food and a cool setting, though our view was blocked by a large pillar at the end of our table into the harbor, probably will not come to this establishment again.
We went for a special date night. We were seated in a very noisy area. We ordered our dinners with salads to come out before the main course. Our dinner came but the salads never did. Our server apologized and asked if we wanted them after our meal. We said no thanks. The New Yorker and Hen Da Vinci were good. We finished our meal and out come our salads! The server offered us dessert because of the salad mess up. We ordered desserts, both were served with whipped cream. I immediately noticed that the whipped cream tasted bad. My husband had eaten afew bites with his cake and I told him to stop and smell the whipped cream....it was spoiled!!! Needless to say we didn't finish our desserts and asked for our check. My husband had a sour stomach the rest of the night and felt ill. Definitely not worth the money!!!
The outside seating was very nice on a Friday early evening. The wait staff was courteous, friendly and professional. Very nice experience. Oh the beer was good and cold!
Food had good taste but was overcooked and the service was just fair.
Amazing atmosphere sitting in the water with friends. Always one of our favorites!
Service was good. We sat outside and we're behind a large column but it was still nice. We just couldn't see the view. The foodcwas very good. The menu is kind of small. Nice wine and cocktail selection
Every time I have been to this restaurant I have been pleased with everything.
Beautiful inside the restaurant and a fabulous view. Wonderful wait-staff too!
Our part of 4 had an excellent experience. The service was exceptional. Our server provided specific details about the entrees which were very helpful in making choices for dinner. The Sea Trout was incredible with the spinach and the rice. Cocktails and desserts were top notch. It was a very enjoyable evening.
We had a 7:30 reservation fortunately our booth had a high back which provided a barrier but it was difficult to carry on a conversation. One person in our party ordered the Fish Tacos which were very hot/spicy; she had to send them back & ask for the peppers & sauce not to be put on them. Again, our waiter was very good with understanding & accommodating her request.
Everything was great. We were celebrating Mother’s Day early and wanted a restaurant with outdoor seating due to the pandemic. Even though it was a slightly chilly day, we were seated at a nice table with a heater and a view of the river. Food was fantastic. I would recommend the rainbow trout. My brother had the Kung pao cauliflower and said it was delicious. Also recommend the big pretzel. It was a very enjoyable meal. Staff was very accommodating to all of our questions and needs.
Went with my husband and in-laws, sat on the patio in early May. The space heaters were delightful, and the food was delicious. Our server was AMAZING and courteous, friendly, prompt and attentive.
Overall Plank’s is always a nice time. Drinks are priced well and very tasty. Food is generally very good. On this visit, however, my husband and I both ordered a Benedict and the eggs were essentially hard boiled. That was fairly disappointing. We also waited quite a while for our server to return after we had finished our meals. It was a Monday morning, so we were one of 3-4 tables there. We will definitely return again.
Lovely setting along the waterfront of the St Joe River. For brunch had a delicious omelette that had the perfect amount of ingredients and cheese. The hash browns that came with it had nice crispy edges and were not greasy or oily. Beautiful spot that I’d return to.
We made a reservation for outdoors. Upon arrival, we were told that OpenTable reservations simply indicate a preference, and that they do not actually save a table for you. Fortunately, a party left and we were able to get seated outside after a short wait. After being seated, almost 15 minutes went by before a server greeted us. This restaurant’s saving grace is that the food is actually really good and the views of the bay are incredible. It’s a little pricey, but that’s somewhat to be expected for the location.
The menu was lacking a theme. Food was excellent but menu was all over the place.
