Planet Hollywood - Times Square
Book your next event with us
We were celebrating my daughters 13th birthday it’s was a very nice setting and the food was good. The music was awesome we really vibe to it. The staff was amazing very friendly and our server was on point.
We ordered 2 cokes to drink and was asked if we wanted tall to which we said yes. Little did we know that we would be charged $19.98 for 2 coca colas. Disgraceful and should be illegal to charge that amount for 2 soft drinks that were by no means tall. Will never come back
Service too long
Lunch before seeing a play for my 13 year old daughter’s middle school graduation.
Terrible service. Refused to eat the food couldn’t even cut through the ribs. DONT GO!
It was very nice!!!
Went to the city for a broadway show and planet Hollywood is right next to the show so we said “why not try it”. We had an amazing time and the food was excellent. Service was quick and we didn’t need to worry about making it to the show on time. Would definitely go back again and recommend to others!!!
The food is not great, but it's ok and the restaurant is very close to the theaters. If it was raining or snowing, it's a short walk. It's also a must see for all the Hollywood displays. I had a chicken avocado sandwich and the avocado fell out. It would have been better if it was mashed. My husband had a turkey club that he said was great.
If you go, it's on a side street, and you can't see it from Broadway. Someone asked the naked cowboy who pointed us in the right direction.
The quality of the food and the Cocktails was poor.
Great food, excellent service.
The movie clips showing the featured props was fun.
Poor menu choice and the staff got my order wrong. We’ve been in Florida and this was so different. This was a disappointing visit on our 25th wedding anniversary
Olivia was awesome and attentive.
Server was very lacking, never checked drinks.... could never find her
Food average at best. Great vibe and very good service. Will choose somewhere else next time in Times Square area.
Great experience would def go back! Good location and yummy food
Took a little over an hour from being seated to getting the bill. Very friendly staff and great food. Amazing milkshakes!
Meh. Outdated and overpriced but good service!
Restaurant was cold. Quality of burgers was poor and overpriced.
We ordered 2 chocolate milks for our little girls and my husband ordered a draft beer.
The girls’ drinks came in light up cups and my husband’s beer came in a Planet Hollywood glass. We didn’t think anything of it until the bill came and we were charged $9.99 for the kids’ cups and $9.99 for the souvenir cup. We did NOT ask for light up cups or a souvenir cup. We asked the waitress who said she was new and as far as she knew the kids’ drinks were built into the price of the cup, so she got the manager who tried to tell us the same thing. Your kids menu (picture enclosed) specifically says “Milk, Juice, Soda $1.99”. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, we were told that does not include chocolate milk, that chocolate milk only comes in a light up cup for $9.99. Your menu does NOT state that. Thankfully he manager took the cups off the bill, because I was NOT paying for them. But I think it’s pretty shady that they added them to our bill when we didn’t ask for them. Your menu needs clarification. If chocolate milk is not included in the kids’ $1.99 drink it should state “Does not include chocolate milk” and it should be listed under the light up cup menu! Shameful!!!
great food, friendly staff and help member of staff.
Nice food and good service we enjoyed our dinner and our waiter was excellent
Came here 7 years ago & was a great experience however a return visit last week wasn’t quite the same. Pre-booked via open table but reception arrangements were a bit hap-hazard, told to wait in the merchandise section but became quite apparent that ‘walk-in’ customers were getting seated before us. No fault of the staff who were very friendly & obviously working very hard but management need to improve their training & marketing.
Food was very average & recalled a previous review of how the movie memorabilia & ceiling displays were covered in cobwebs & dust...this was very evident, who ever owns the franchise of this place needs to wake-up & act on some of its negative reviews instead of relying on the floor staff to keep it going. The establishment relies on its location to get customers through the door!...compared to its London branch they’re worlds apart!
Could be the great place it was years ago but has since become very tired & a lack of investment very obvious...they employ a lot of hard working friendly staff, shame the investors don’t match that enthusiasm!
Great food, excellent service and good atmosphere. Fun place.
Excelente para ir en familia
Excellent server who was attentive. Had New York sightseeing pass which gave us a discount. Great food and colouring and good choice for the kids.
I had a reservation for 2 @ 10pm, the the food was great, but the waiter rushed the whole time, he expressed that he had to clock out because of his over time hours, which had nothing to do us, and that we had to hurry up and pay. Place closes at 1am, it was only 11:15pm. Then, he sent his manager over to us to advise us that we had to hurry up and pay as well, she said, “we didn’t have to leave, but we had to pay for our food now”. We wanted another drink and possibly another appetizer. We just decided to pay and leave. It was very unprofessional as a waiter, I feel as if it could’ve been handled in a better manner.
Not only was it extremely loud (I did expect this but not Nikki minaj back to back for at least 20mins)
The restaurant felt scruffy and service was quite slow.
My husband had to find him self a knife and fork after asking a waitress for one. After waiting for her to return he decided it was quicker to find one himself or his food would be cold.
My meal was nice.(fajitas) Their was quite a lot of it but only 3 wraps. It could have easily fed two people. I would have eaten more of their was more wraps.
We didn’t opt for pudding as to be honest by that time we where fed up.
Sadly I think planet Hollywood has lost its sparkle. If I had booked for a special occasion I would have been disappointed.
Our waiter was unfriendly, the food was great. Nice location, delicius jumbo shrimp.
Interested in all the film props placed around the restaurant. The music was good and not too loud. Would recommend and revisit if back in town again
Took my nieces there for their birthdays. They loved it
Food decent, service good and typical of Planet Hollywood with a buzz about the place
Is was great except the music was too loud!
Super expensive for mediocre food and drinks. Not much else to say.
Fantastic server helped make my son’s 9th Birthday special. Kitchen speed was killing you this evening with seating less than half capacity on a Friday night. Server was attentive and had great communication and follow up.
The food and service was excellent! So for that reason, I cannot say I wouldn’t recommend, but the price was steep. However, keep in mind that everything in NYC is overpriced to me. I’m from the Midwest and it would be unheard of to pay $30 for fajitas. With that said, it was about $110 for three people to eat.
Great staff and experience. First visit to NYC
Tourists would love it. And we did to a degree. But our table placement was less than satisfactory even with a reservation. It took way too long to have the requested water brought to the table. The memorabilia was fun to see but the prices for the food value don't compensate.
