Great casual eaterie- fresh salads- great paninis and good, attentive servers
I am on a business trip in NJ and as with most trips to NJ, going to an Italian restaurant is usually on the menu and a safe bet. I should have known better when we walked in on the dirty industrial floor runner. The table tops are granite with chips off the edges, the service is okay, and the food is average at best. I had their version of Past Fagioli, which was a watered down tomato broth, ditalini, and beans. I had to ask for cheese as it was not offered or on the table. I ordered the clams and linguini, which was reasonably fresh and with a mound of pasta.
The surrounding are minimal and basic 1990's era. Frankly, the place looks like an old fast food joint that is trying to be a restaurant and not a pleasurable place to be for the evening.
Great neighborhood restaurant! The food is delicious! There's always new specials!
Nice place for an informal meal. Good pizza and Italian food, decent wine list, and reasonable prices. If you want to go out for dinner and can't decide where, Pizzeta is a safe bet.
Service was very slow- 45 minutes to get appetizers. My daughters pizza was cold so we sent it back and they reheated it until it was burnt. The rest of the food was good.
Great restaurant. Have visited many times. Wonderful owner and staff. Portions are great size. Love everything I have every had
Always our go to place when we don't know where to go! Pizzetta never disappoints!
Great place for a group get-together. We had a lovely time in the front of the restaurant with delicious food and great service.
Sadly my first time coming to the restaurant. The food was very good. But our service was AWFUL! So bad that I will not be going back. The group I was with were very disappointed.
Unfortunate as it has potential.
Usually a great casual place. This time my experience was less than stellar with a hair in my appetizer.
I consistently enjoy the food here. The salmon and vegetarian lasagna are delicious!
I went there on a quiet Sunday afternoon and had dinner with my elderly parents. The staff was very accommodating. Nice selection of cocktails and wines by the glass. The salads were fresh and had high quality ingredients. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. The meal was very enjoyable.
Dining for two: Mixed starter of bufala, olives, eggplant then one ravioli and one rigatoni with sausage. ...very nice place, service was very good..
Great place as usual. Good food. Good ambiance and live music
WE ARE REGULARS AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE-ALWAYS A PLEASANT AND DELICIOUS EXPERIENCE WHEN YOU DON'T WANT FANCY, BUT DON'T WANT DINER FOOD EITHER.
Good was good but no matter how many customers you have in your restaurant you shouldn't clean and mop and put the chairs up on the tables surrounding you.
Got there after the lunch crowd which was great and quiet for my mom
Server Alex was pleasant
Dining room looked nice with fireplace since it was 5 degrees outside but garbage, food, napkins, utensils on the floor uncleaned tables around our table and during the two hrs we were there no one picked anything up. Our table didn't have set ups so we kept taking from surrounding tables.
My meal was ok but guest really enjoyed lasagne
I won't be back but my guest will
Great, fresh food, friendly service and moderately priced.
Great food, with a great price, and friendly staff!!!
I never go wrong at Pizzeta. The food is always delicious and the service is very attentive.
My favorite thing to eat here is the arugula salad with fennel, goat cheese, cherry tomatoes and succulent grilled shrimp. Their specials are also always a big hit. Love that they are one of the few places in town that has a decent bar.
The food is quite tasty and came out rather quickly. But the service is poor. A bunch of untrained kids who don't have any idea how to run a restaurant.
Always reliable neighborhood place
We eat here often. Definitely a step up from the diner, especially because they have a wine list, and a full bar. Good pizzetas and veggie lasagna
Big menu, large portions. One of few restaurants in town with a full bar.
We have been dining at pizzeta for years and have always had great meals! They have a variety of options, we are never disappointed! The whole family can enjoy pizzeta, and the service has always been consistent. It's great for a pizza or a full course meal and they do have a liquor license and full bar so it's great for everyone!
Waitress forgot to put my dinner order in. My family was finished eating by the time my dinner finally arrived. The food was good, the atmosphere was ok, not great. The restaurant was basically empty because we went early and they gave us the worst table in the house. We won't be returning.
Wait to hear the specials before makin up your mind. Lots to offer and always tasty. Attentive service, too.
Hadn't been there for a while. Service was spotty even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Most of the work is done by the busboys/girls, not the waitress. If you want a lunch size salad, it's $11 w/ no protein in it, so if you add chicken, that's +$5, shrimp+$6. That's a lot for a salad at lunch at a casual restaurant. Panini w/ a side salad was good, and better priced at $11.
Pizzeta Enoteca is a modern italian neighborhood place with good salads, pizza and panini sandwiches. I have been here numerous time for lunch and dinner and the food is always good, service is decent. Every time I make a reservation it is honored.
Consistently good food, nice wine/drink list, attentive service. Great place to go for a quick bite! We've never had a bad meal here. Very family friendly.
We had a terrific dinner. All seven of us, adults and children enjoyed a variety of menu items, The children received their dinners quickly and were satisfied so that the adults also were able to enjoy their dinners.
We highly recommend!
Pizetta is a great casual Italian with good quality food at very fair prices. My only complaint would be towards the bar tender. Drinks had very little vodka and wine pour was small.
I ate with a group of 10 persons, all of which had different entrees. Each and everyone said their dinner was absolutely amazing from the pasta dish, pizza, chicken, fish. Not one had any complaints! The service was superb! I would definitely go back to try out the other fine meals that were offered.
The fried calamari was tender and delicious. I had penne vodka with shrimp was not soupy like other restaurants sauce was a little on the thick side…yummy! The rest of my party had different types of pizza, pasta fagoli, and salad. Everyone loved their meals. Our waitress was very attentive. We are looking forward to going back.
I love coming here. It's one of the few restaurants in Livingston with a nice bar and delicious food. The service is always on point and they are patience and friendly to young children. My absolute favorite dish is the arugula salad with grilled shrimp. I order it every time. I just love it so much i can't not order it. Their pizza is very good too. Pizzeta is a great place to grab a bite, sit back, relax and enjoy.
I made an 8PM res for my wife & I on VDay. We could've gone anywhere, but chose Pizzeta; this was where we had our 1st date 7 years ago. We checked in with the hostess at 8:05. Our reservation wasn't honored. We were seated almost 20 mins late. There were empty tables, plus, they sat 3 parties that came in after we did. I questioned the manager, he was patronizing & as he walked away he shook his head, like I was wrong. We would have left, but it was already 8:20. The food here is fair. Our waitress was good until we were ready for the check. Then she was scarce. Once we found her, we paid & left. No place is worth being treated poorly by a manager. To top it off, they cancelled our res with OT, so we had to deal with getting our pts back.
Pizzeta never disappoints - consistently good food and a well rounded menu. Nice list of wines and beers too. Definitely our go to place for a quick bite!
Kids and adults alike will find the pizzas amazing!!
Our neighbors suggested we meet here. Lived in NJ for 10 years and never here. Pasta fagioli was excellent and the lasagna was unique and flavorful. Fair prices, too.
Waiter service now is a nightmare! Our waiter got nothing right and hid from us . Salads and pizza are good but service was horrid. How stupid can one person be ??
We needed a table for 8- our table was ready when we arrived and our servers eager to assist us. The kids had their own menu and there were enough choices on the menu for the adults. The food , when served, arrived hot and delicious. Our servers remained vigilant throughout.
