About Pizzeria Villagio
The idea of Villagio comes from a marriage between time and place; the old neighborhoods of New York City and the abundant plains of California. What California brings to the table figuratively and literally, is its abundance of fresh produce, fresh starts, and the opportunity to reinvent. And so it was with these two places and time in mind that we set out to build a restaurant that would meld the two.
With pizza dough made from scratch, hand stretched and cooked in a traditional pizza oven, our proprietary pizza sauce and the freshest of ingredients, Villagio invites you to dig in and enjoy our food, our warmth, and our relaxing ambiance. A place where old world tradition, meets new world freshness.

Pizzeria Villagio Ratings and Reviews
Unfortunately, we went for Happy Hour and ordered several drinks and about 5 of your appetizers from the HH menu. The only one we liked was the sausage/garlic dish. But the
calamari was too tough to eat, the pizza was bland, shrimp was OK, the artichoke was not good.
We all felt all the dishes were greasy and felt bad for the rest of the night.
Next time, we will avoid all appetizers and just order from the regular menu. This was our 2nd
visit - First time we enjoyed our meal and that is why we took our friends from out of town to
This restaurant is trying to get its reputation back after a change of ownership, a change in menu and a change in interior design. While the food is almost back to its previous quality, there is still a need to improve service. There were five of us eating dinner and three entrees were served with a gap of about ten minutes before the other two diners were served. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed.
I gathered a group of 8 friends for a post-performance dinner, one of us was performing, the remainder were all attending. The restaurant could not have been a better choice. The professionals on staff are nonpareil, and everyone in my party enjoyed his or her meal. The best part, after the event was over, every single member of the party contacted me separately and said, "What a great choice of places to go!"
Very inexpensive considering the quality and quantity of food you receive. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had the chicken parmesan and both were excellent and enough for lunch the next day at home. Can understand why they were voted the best Italian and pizza restaurant in the Valley.
Pizzeria Villagio is an excellent place to dine for Italian specialties. We had the Lasagne which was outstanding. Each serving was enough to feed two adults, so we ended up taking one whole order home for another meal later in the week. From what we have found out talking to others, all of the portions are large, so go prepared to eat.
We started coming on opening day and loved the great New York style food, then something happened and it wasn't the same. After many months we returned to find it excellent again. New chef but same wonderful Italian food as we remembered it. Chicken parm and chicken Marsala was wonderful. So happy to find it great again. Charles the waiter is also as good as it gets.
Food was terrible and so was the service. We asked for the manager at one point and he could care less about how our experience/food was.
We have given this restaurant chance after chance but this is the last time we will ever dine
there and absolutely will not recommend to anyone we like!
I was told by our waitress and the manager the reason why my pizza was so delayed was due to a large number of take out orders. I don't understand why they'd prioritize take out orders over customers seated in the restaurant. I'd think they would reserve at least some part of their capacity to produce food for customers who are likely to buy alcohol or tip the staff. Poor management and decisions will kill their business faster than bad food, but put the two together and they could be gone soon. I for sure will not go back again and I've been a semi-regular since they first opened.
Have gone to this restaurant several times and it was fine but last night it was not! First, they served my friend the wrong wine. She drank it with no complaint until the bill came out and she was charged for the wine she didn't get. Then the entrees came out at different times. When mine finally came out, the salmon was inedible. Returned it and ate the roasted potatoes which were very good but not much of a dinner. Will not go back.
