Great happy hour for food and drinks. Friendly and quick service.
I find the food preparation inconsistent. Visit before this one it was excellent. This time, not so good. Too salty, not too tender chicken and dry pasta side. Very disappointing. Visiting friends not too impressed either.
Great food and service!
Servings were pleasantly large. Pizza' were large and tasty.. Salads large enough to split for two. Enjoy
Reasonably priced food. Stone oven pizza was really good. My wife is vegetarian and enjoyed her eggplant Parmesan.
Excellent pizza made in brick oven. Excellent salads, especially the roasted vegetable salad.
Have been there several times and it is consistently good.
Love the pizza
Seating sometimes a problem. Tables rock and booths are too small for 4 adults.
Excellent food and value
We eat at Villagio on a regular basis. I wasn't crazy about it, until I tried the blackboard special of Baramundi. It's a mild, white fish prepared in a garlic sauce with capers. The side veggies are great.
It was not real busy and our waitress was great. Food was good not spectacular but good. We would go back
Unfortunately, we went for Happy Hour and ordered several drinks and about 5 of your appetizers from the HH menu. The only one we liked was the sausage/garlic dish. But the
calamari was too tough to eat, the pizza was bland, shrimp was OK, the artichoke was not good.
We all felt all the dishes were greasy and felt bad for the rest of the night.
Next time, we will avoid all appetizers and just order from the regular menu. This was our 2nd
visit - First time we enjoyed our meal and that is why we took our friends from out of town to
Pizzas looked really good (and tasted good).
Service was very sub par - dishes all left on tables that had left. Auctioning off food at the table (not knowing who ordered what). No real quality check. Disappointed for a well reviewed restaurant.
Ambiance more like a pizzeria than a restaurant. Food was mediocre at best - pasta dishes we had were just not that tasty and portions were too big.
We had a delicious meal- the kids loved the pizza and the grown-ups loved all loved the different items we ordered. Everyone was happy! We would definitely return.
This restaurant is trying to get its reputation back after a change of ownership, a change in menu and a change in interior design. While the food is almost back to its previous quality, there is still a need to improve service. There were five of us eating dinner and three entrees were served with a gap of about ten minutes before the other two diners were served. This is unacceptable and needs to be fixed.
superior food.. food was hot, well-prepared , and seasoned just right . best Italian food in years .
I gathered a group of 8 friends for a post-performance dinner, one of us was performing, the remainder were all attending. The restaurant could not have been a better choice. The professionals on staff are nonpareil, and everyone in my party enjoyed his or her meal. The best part, after the event was over, every single member of the party contacted me separately and said, "What a great choice of places to go!"
The sausage and company pizza was terrific. Moretti on draught is a good accompaniement to the pizza.
Pizzeria Villagio was a great find during our weekend in the desert— an excellent pizza and great service.
They have the best chopped salad around. Family in town and they have a little of everything for everybody. Bread was warm and the service was excellent. Everyone loved there food, pizza, eggplant parmesan.
Great food if you like a nonfancy place.
Extremely slow service. Multiple managers never bothered to check on our table, mostly standing around chatting with each other. Received dirty silverware twice. Red potatoes were a mixture of over-cooked and under-cooked potatoes.
Happy Hour is great. You get to try a lot of different dishes (all of which were good) and by sitting st the bar you get attentive personal service. We’ll be back. ;)
Very inexpensive considering the quality and quantity of food you receive. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had the chicken parmesan and both were excellent and enough for lunch the next day at home. Can understand why they were voted the best Italian and pizza restaurant in the Valley.
the best pizza. love that they bake your bread when you are seated and comes piping hot to your table.
High end Italian style menu. Good wine list. Excellent selection of entrees and appetizers and salads. Really fresh salads and very ample portions on all items.
Since they went back to original menu/recipe food is terrific. Glad they did
Best Italian food. Everyone in our party loved our meal. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Great food and excellent selections. Service was superb.
Great Italian Cuisine. Great Service. Enjoyed the Sausage/Meatball Lasagna recommended by the waiter.
We really enjoy Villagio; however, their calamari was not very good this time: over cooked, dried out and rubbery. Usually it is lightly fried and very tender. We still enjoyed our meal and we would still recommend. Everyone has an off night.
First time here, ate at the bar. Bar menu was very nice, adequate selections & variety
Had their cheese pizza, very good
Five of us went on a search for some great pizza, and we were not disappointed. It is very difficult to find good pizza in the valley.
Best pizza on Northern hemisfere :-)
Great choice on toppings
The restaurant was closed. Wasted 30 minutes driving there, and had no place to eat. Update your files. Ridiculous!!!!
Unfortunate, they are closed on Monday's for the summer months only OpenTable did not know that. We ended up going somewhere else.
Pizzeria Villagio is an excellent place to dine for Italian specialties. We had the Lasagne which was outstanding. Each serving was enough to feed two adults, so we ended up taking one whole order home for another meal later in the week. From what we have found out talking to others, all of the portions are large, so go prepared to eat.
Plenty good food and excellent service salad should be shared if not main meal
