Happy hour is fantastic value
My wife and I dine out every Friday during the summer months. We heard good things about Sirenetta, so we thought to give it a try. We were greeted in a very polite manner, sat at an outside table, and received excellent service from our waiter. The only thing made our experience slightly less than perfect was the couple that was allowed to have their rather large dog at the table next to us. This made my experience a bit uncomfortable. At one point, the dog became aggressive at the sight of a passing dog.
Exactly what we wanted.
Low key excellent pizza + other great selections with excellent service. On the Upper West Side.
Table was ready.
We sat in the front.
Food was excellent.
Favorite pizza restaurant
Delicious as always but we really missed the Calamari!
Absolutely love this restaurant. You cannot beat this happy hour on the upper west side. The food is terrific and the drinks are awesome. Everyone must try the fried olives!
Terrific pizza great wait staff. Tried the chicken a friend ordered...delectable.
disappointed that no longer give the small cups of custard for dessert
Had a great evening at Sirenetta celebrating my daughter's birthday. The place was hopping so glad we had a reservation. Luckily it was a beautiful night and we were seated outside. Our server, Robert was excellent! Food was delicious. Wine was superb. So very pleased we chose this place.
Great foot and service!
THE BEST. I love the food and the staff here.
Fried artichokes were great
Excellent excellent and excellent everything
Server disappeared. Timing was way off. App came out with entree. Entrees came out separately. One entree was over-cooked, one under-cooked. Never asked to refresh drinks. Overall terrible service experience.
Yummy pizzas. Love happy hour. I do miss the garlic clam pizza!
The food and drinks were really good, and the service outstanding
The Food was excellent, especially the grilled Octopus which was the most tender Octopus I have ever eaten. Our Server Michael was super attentive and helpful .
Service was rushed.
I am so disappointed with our last visit to Sirenetta. We've been for dinner many times over the years and have always enjoyed our meals. Sirenetta (and Mermaid Inn) had been one of our neighborhood staples, especially when we have friends or family visiting. The staff had always been accommodating as we have a toddler. A couple visits ago (in May), we brought visiting family as they were in the mood for pizza. We were pleased to find they were now serving brunch and tried many of the new dishes and enjoyed them all.
Since then we've visited twice more and each time I'm more and more disappointed. The next visit was a couple weeks later in June, we noticed that the salmon they used for their house cured salmon dish was different. It had been one of our favorite dishes before but this time, it was either a poorer quality salmon or it was prepared differently. It honestly seemed like they used a pack of smoked salmon that you could buy at the market.
And then our last visit this past weekend was very disappointing. We ordered the salmon dish again just in case the last visit had been a fluke (it wasn't). The best brunch dish, the pork belly, was sadly no longer on the menu. And when we ordered the breakfast pizza, the egg on top was missing. We asked two waiters about it - each said the egg was baked into the pizza with a dismissive attitude...even though the menu says "sunnyside egg" and the last 2 times we ordered it, it had an egg on top. My husband also had to ask twice for a drink he had ordered and never got it. The waiter asked if he could take our stroller downstairs to store it, which is totally fine by us as we understand it's a New York restaurant and there is limited space. But we were not pleased to find that when our stroller was returned, someone had spilled oil or food on it and we had to scrub it off when we got home.
I'm sad to see one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants go downhill like this.
Great food, courteous staff, great ambiance. This is a great place.
This is a lovely friendly pizza place if you want to sit down and have a 'higher quality' pie than you get in the local 'joint'. Order 2 pies for 2 people - they are a bit skimpy in size....that said, good and tasty!
Great local place, pizza hits the spot, and fantastic HH pricing!
We had the fried artichoke, pasta and a couple cocktails. All were very good, large portions. Waiter was very attentive. There were a lot of families there, so it did get pretty loud.
Bring back the free panna cotta!
I love the food here, but I have to say that I don't go as often as I'd like because the noise level is insane -- Not conducive to pleasant dining. Loud music. Hard wall surfaces so that conversation echoes around. You have to talk loud to converse and that's an effort when you're eating. They've also changed the menu. They used to automatically give a small panna cotta at the end of the meal, and not offer any other dessert. it was just right and such a nice touch. Now they offer a dessert menu. Not as personal a touch as before. But my two favorites are still on the menu, so that's good!
Pizza was pretty good, pasta was pretty bad- was like eating a bowl of salt with a bit of pasta unfortunately. If we were to go back, would be to eat pizza definitely not the pasta.
The best - the happy hour can’t be beat.
The food here is SO GOOD and the service was excellent! Will definitely be going back!
The food and service were both excellent! Started with cocktails and appetizers followed by a wood fired pizza and house made pasta. The fried artichokes and the house made linguinette were the two stand outs for me. Will definitely be back! Great upper westside gem.
Great place on the UWS. Casual but always good to have a reservation as it gets crowded. Although if you don’t have one the bar is comfortable and they serve food. When we are in the area it’s always a place we go to
Wonderful experience at Pizzeria Sirenetta! Excellent food and service from the lovely hostesses to the bartender/barback (extremely accommodating and patient bartender - thank you!) and excellent waiter. Thank you for a lovely evening. Can’t wait to return!
The food is saltier and saltier and I like seasoning! I really like this place, but they are really heavy on the salt.
Excellent service and great Happy Hour. Loved all the items on the Happy Hour menu and the Pepperoncini Martini was awesome.
The food never disappoints.
Super cute decor and the food was outstanding! The lemon ricotta pasta was absolutely delicious
The food was excellent and they were very accommodating to my toddler
Sirinetta is one of our favorite neighborhood places. The food is always great and we love the casual lively atmosphere.
Happy hour was excellent. The food was delicious and the drinks were yummy. Great value!
