About Pizzeria Gusto
Pizzeria Gusto is an extension of my dinner table, where friends, family and loved ones gather together to share conversation, laughter, food and wine. The aroma"s, sight's and sounds are a constant reminder of centuries old Italian traditions, which instantly welcome you to the family.
We believe that pizza is the perfect food. A blank canvas that has unlimited possibilities in both taste and texture. By using fresh local produce and authentic Italian ingredients your experience will surely have you saying "Bellisimo"!
Our wood burning oven comes from Reggelo, 20 km from Florence. The Valoriani oven is hand crafted by a family of artisans that has been perfecting their skills for 5 generations. Its domed brick roof and 650 degree temperature is the perfect vessel for creating the perfect pizza.

Pizzeria Gusto Ratings and Reviews
Our female server (Lauren) was excellent. She kept checking back to see if everything was ok. Had a lovely smile. A new dish (carbonera ) was excellent. The lamb and sausage dish was a bit dry and would not order it again. The flourless chocolate cake was excellent.
My fiancé and I went there for dinner to celebrate our 4 years together. We also recently got engaged last month so this was a special celebratory dinner. This was our first time here and everything was PERFECT! We kept hearing how great it was and Pizzaria Gusto did not disappoint! We will definitely be coming back again!
Tried this restaurant because my friend had heard great reviews about it. Our experience would not warrant a great review. The food took quite some time after we ordered to receive (well over 1/2 hr - 3/4 hr & we felt wasn't that busy). The waitress had told us the pizzas would be out of the oven shortly, which they were but when they hit our table they were lukewarm to cold. The waitress was not very attentive, did not come ask how things were, was not good about filling water etc. Finally we had to flag down another waitress to let her know we needed our pizzas warmed up, were asked if we wanted fresh and we said whatever was quicker because by that time was 7:30 and we wanted to eat. As the night wore on the noise level in restaurant became very apparent and was hard to hear each other talk. Overall we were not happy with our experience. Not to say could have been an off night and won't necessarily not go back but won't be rushing back anytime soon.
I specifically requested a table and when I arrived was told that a table wasn't available even though there were only 3 occupied tables. We were told to eat at the bar even though I saw multiple empty places that weren't set for a reservation. I discussed with my dinner partner whether we should stay or not, and luckily someone was able to seat us at a table after many minutes of no service.
First time there. I took my sister for her birthday. We shared the Cesar salad. Very tasty. We stuck to sharing appetizers. The stuffed calamari was delicious although I think they should have had one more piece. Very different preparation unlike anything I've had. We also had the meatballs. Nothing special. I would go again. Next time I will have the pizza.
Had a great time again at Pizzaria Gusto. This time it was for my wife's birthday. It was out 5th time here and we invited another couple to join us as they had never been here and had heard about us telling them how great it was. You did not disappoint !! Our service was fantastic. Just the right amount of attention. No hovering and never had to look for him. The food of course was amazing as usual. We will definitely be back again and pretty sure there are two new fans as the couple we brought couldn't stop talking about what a great time they had.
This was our first experience dining at Pizzeria Gusto. We recently returned from a trip to Europe, including Italy, and we were delighted to find such a great variety of the same foods we enjoyed there! The pizzas were a perfect size- we tried 4 different ones, and they were all outstanding. My husband tried the cioppino, and found the broth to be very flavourful. The bruschetta was delicious, as was the caprese salad, which we all shared. Our server was terrific, and really added to the overall experience. Our only complaint would be the noise level, although we were able to talk to each other.
Thanks! We’ll be back!
Excellent restaurant! Definitely recommend it for couples who want to have a special "escape of routines". The pizzas are excellent, simple and not complicated. Very different from what I had before.
We had a reservation for standard seats, but at first we were told to sit at the counter (good though). But they changed our seat as per our request. The service is outstanding! Very polite and always available!
Overall, one of the best! I go there again!
Everything was top notch! The server was attentive and timely and took care of us and all the little details as well! The food was incredible and the wine selection was stellar. The atmosphere was welcoming yet trendy. The openness created a nice vibe of the place and to see the bar and pizza stone oven, yet was still intimate and cozy. This is going to be a new fav in our "going out" places to eat.
Looks great but very noisy and dimly lit. My wife ordered the rustica pizza. She was extremely disappointed - a very few mushrooms hidden by the arugula. It amounted to no more than pizza crust with greens. Can you call it pizza if there is no mozzarella cheese? Waiter took it back and they put some cold buffalo mozzarella on top. You would think they could do more. We won't be back.
