Great pizza great food! Enjoyed our experience.
Spectacular evening. Impressed with the thoroughness for COVID safety. Food was fantastic, our server was attentive and friendly. Will be coming back!
Had a dinner date and he's been here previous and was looking forward to dinner when we got our Pizzas they were not at all what he expected. barely any toppings and no flavor they were very bland. For the price we expected better quality. We do plan on going again thinking it was a very off day for the cook but would like to give it another try.
At this time we would not recommend until we are satisfied
Everything was great except the noir level
Was very hard to carry on a discussion
I changed my outdoor reservation to inside this morning. When I arrived the hostess tried to seat me outside. I explained my conversation from this morning and she graciously found me a table inside. It was a very busy evening. We had to track down our waiter on a couple occasions. We were seated in the back of the restaurant , perhaps an after thought for the server? Food was great tho!
We went for our 18th wedding anniversary. We always enjoy the food & the atmosphere, which is why it’s my favourite restaurant. The staff is always friendly & helpful. And we love the TMK cocktail. Would recommend PG to anyone.
Very nice patio for dinner, and very clean. Cocktails and drinks were very good, the food menu has a lot of choices and we went for the pizzas as they are the biggest part of the food menu. Polpetinni and the Beet salad with extra sourdough bread was very nice to start with. We ordered four pizzas for a party of four and the portions are big. There was though, something in the pizza dough that was not what we expected. Although they were thin and crusty, well baked, it seems that something was lacking from the ingredients to make it tasty enough. Deserts were great, all of them.
The best of all though was our sever, Mathew. Incredible service from him and of course the rest of the guys that helped him.
Awesome food. We were rushed through dinner, food was rushed out and it just wasn’t the relaxing experience we were hoping for.
Night before my wedding
Food was just alright. Definitely not what it use to be. Pizza prices went up and toppings went down. Pasta was way under cooked and very bland. Service however is always fantastic and without us asking or really even complaining (just giving honest feedback on the food) they comp’d us our meals. Still recommend, might have been a bad night
Loved everything about it! Perfect date night. Superlative food, service, ambiance, craft cocktails, and wine list!
Thevegan pizza option was delicious. Great service and ambiance!
We were greeted warmly by the hostess. Good safety measures at the entrance: masked hostess, vaxcheck, convenient sanitizer. Cozy table. Food beautifully presented, all with some little twist that made it uniquely tasty Serving size generous but not excessive. We had a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience.
Great food, beautiful venue and great service!!!!
Went to Gusto for my partner’s birthday party! the food was incredible and the drinks were well crafted and tasty! our server, Wendy, was exceptional. Wendy had great timing, she was very personable and was very helpful with the menu.
The prosciutto came in a big clump
Everything was great! Gusto has done a great job thru the Pandemic! Great local eatery!
It was so lovely to see people out socializing again. Fantastic to be there.
Our server Lauren S. was amazing! She anticipated our needs and we didn’t feel rushed. The food was delicious. I love all the local Manitoba ingredients.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Were told we had to be out in 2 hours to accommodate a following reservation but had not received our food at the 1h 59min mark! The salad was wonderful but as self-proclaimed wood-fired pizza connoisseurs we “liked” it but didn’t love it. Another disappointment was they ran out of ingredients for drinks, but compensated with a chocolate cake on the house.
A favourite spot for us to annually celebrate our anniversary.
Food and service was amazing. When the place gets full it’s very loud. It also could be because everyone is excited to see one another after the restrictions. Best pizza around, we’ll definitely be going back.
I had lunch with a friend at Pizzeria Gusto the other day. One of the few good restaurants open for lunch these days (August 2021) and it was great! Cheese cake was especially good!
Great service, delicious food in a safe environment. Really happy that some local restaurants are continuing with masks and ensuring patrons dining indoors are double vax’d. Will fully support this place going forward.
Right from the beginning of the evening, we were put off by the rude hostess, who not only asked to see proof of vaccination, but asked to see both vaccination documents (not just the second) and photo ID. The manager would later tell us those rules stopped two weeks prior, and yet they kept them in place. We understand the need for safety protocols, however I think this was very excessive, and felt like an infringement of our privacy.
As for the food, we were disappointed to find out that an Italian restaurant charged three extra dollars for burnt bread with a burrata appetizer that cost twenty six dollars. The bread itself was burnt, and only came with two slices for a table of three.
The main course was a total disappointment. The spaghetti and meatballs had watery sauce, and the noodles were drenched in the liquid. The sauce was sugary, and the meatballs tasted like they were canned. We ordered the “Sinatra” pizza for the group, and the crust was burnt, which affected the whole taste of the pizza. The prosciutto tasted like a fast food pepperoni, and the cheese was a blob of cheddar, all on a dry pizza with an egg yolk on it. The tomato sauce was not evenly spread on the pizza, and I could not pick up on the taste. This was twenty eight dollars.
Lastly, we had to ask for Parmesan cheese for the table, and they brought us a glass container with a tablespoon of cheese in it, for three people. The evening manager reduced the charges of the bill after we raised these concerns, however we still paid over a hundred dollars for this travesty of a meal.
so good! staff were so so nice, super helpful with telling me what could be vegan and knew the menu super well - it was very loud inside but you can only control that so much, overall very great time :)
We ordered all new menu items and were beyond thrilled with our dinner! The Burrata starter was SOOOO perfectly done, but definitely order grilled sour dough to dip into the it.
Then we had the Ricotta Gnudi - and well if the serving size was 100x larger, we still would have finished every morsel :)
Our pizza Pollo pizza was perfectly balanced to finish off the night.
Never dissapointed with our meals at PG, leaving always wanting more!
Impressed with how they checked our vaccination cards. Service and food excellent. Very impressed with everything
Excellent food and top notch service!
I made a reservation online for standard seating and ended up awkwardly sitting facing a window. I mentioned it to the hostess who told the restaurant was fully booked, yet there was seating at tables all around us.
Great meal presentation and taste but small quantities. Pricey!
Perfect evening thank you!
More Vegan options would be ideal and appreciated.
Love love absolutely everything about your restaurant…the food is always outstanding and so love the patio in the summer!
Also appreciate the work and effort of everyone in making our experience
Comfortable with your COVID safety.
Had an awesome lunch with my colleague. Everything from food, ambience, service was great.
I wish they had their own parking. Will definitely go back!!
Our server Wendy was very friendly and patient with us.
Excellent food, drinks and service. Always a great time!
Thrilled this restaurants requires vaccinations! Unfortunately we had a couple pizzas and the crust was really uninteresting. Charcuterie board, Caesar salad and wine were great!
From start to finish, the evening was great. Excellent service, and food. We
will be back.
Thank you for continuing to see the importance in checking for vaccinations etc-
Great service, delicious meal and drinks. Portion for the pasta (lobster Alfredo) was on the smaller side.
Service and food were impeccable. Would recommend again and again.
