About Pizzeria Credo
Pizzeria Credo in West Seattle is very proud of their new Stefano Ferrar hand built Neapolitan brick oven. Wood cooked pizza is a great way to enjoy pizza. The taste brings out the best of the crust. Crust is crisp and yet soft in the middle. Meat and vegetables have more flavor in wood cooked ovens like the Stefano Ferrar, because the ingredients cook fast and retain their juices. Come in to Pizzeria Credo to enjoy our wonderful pizza

Pizzeria Credo Ratings and Reviews
Hands down the best pizza in West Seattle. The margarita pizza is divine and you would be happy ordering any of their salads but the seasonal pear and house made burrata is the best! You can taste the love in every dish, was happy to spend my birthday there.
Great salads, pizza and pastas; love the menu and food! Delicious and I would recommend it to foodies who have traveled to Italy. Authentic Italian pizzeria with imported pizza oven. On a side note: Could use improvement regarding service (nice but very slow and could use some polishing up). Atmosphere, especially in the back room where larger tables are seated, needs a complete overhaul and bathrooms need some updating in terms of paint and accessories linke a cabinet, candle, flowers, art and nice soap! I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Atmosphere is main dining space is fine!
I love Pizzeria Credo. The pizza crust is delicious as well as their marinara sauce. I always receive good service. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I recently had an issue with a dessert that did not tasted funny (hard to believe but true). They were understanding and substituted another dessert item without any hesitation. I will continue to dine at Pizzeria Credo for the cozy atmosphere, delicious food and reasonable prices. So glad they are in West Seattle too!
This place was not too fancy, not over crowded and prices were excellent.
Expect to walk right in and get a table with friendly service and fantastic neopolitan pizza, Salads, and charcuterie! All the food plus we each had a drink for a great value!
Would definitely go back to share another pizza!
We had heard good reviews but may have caught them at a bad time. For one we made a reservation on open table but they don't use the service or honor reservations from it. The staff all seemed new and confused. Pizzas sat cooked and undelivered or were delivered to the wrong tables. Ours came cold. I could go on but overall just a disappointment for the price.
We arrived 10 minutes early and our table wasn't ready. We sat at the bar to wait, there was no bartender on staff and we were not offered a drink. Several other groups came in and were seated while we waited. Finally we asked, and they had apparently forgotten about us (though we were sitting there in plan sight). When we finally did get a table, the service was slow. However, the pizza was good. I'd go back for the food, but definitely not for the service.
I met a friend for dinner at Pizzeria Credo. We shared a delicious caprese salad, and we each ordered garden salads and pasta carbonara. Not only was all the food delicious, the presentation was very pretty. The wait staff was attentive and efficient, and the owner was very warm and welcoming. Looking forward to coming here again.
Credo is one of those amazing finds. It's in the center of West Seattle just down California Ave from another one of my favorite's Mashiko. The pizza oven is visible in the front of the restaurant and makes excellent pizza (Parma was awesome!) but don't miss out on the stylishly plated small plates and salads. The truffle polenta us particularly good. The chef/owner definitely has created something great here and I hope he does well.
Did not wow us. Food was good quality but service lacked. We were Ignored a lot . Had to ask for a server to offer menus, then long delays, server did not make recommendations, did not provide utensils without prompting, did not offer water until we asked. Overall, I would say we had a very fast food experience regarding the service level provided. But, we would not rate the restaurant overall on this one encounter. May have been circumstances at root cause that were not apparent. Manager could have been more visible to oversee.
It was my very best Pizza experience ever! The crust baked in the wood-fired oven was superb & the vegetarian toppings rich & lush. The service by Randy & her co-worker was friendly, warm & responsive 2 my request. Excellent beer choices on tap!
Will return 4 sure as the owner is physically present & cares 4 the well-being of his patrons & staff.
The setting is charming without being cute. The quotes on the walls are fun to read and consider. I appreciated our server and host very much. My teenage daughter and her friend shared a pizza that looked great and met with their approval.
I ordered a gluten free pizza which was undercooked, doughy and bland. There are really great gf crusts and breads out there but it requires a curiosity upon the chefs part the re-learn and reimagine how to make it with new base ingredients. Any creative curiosity about gluten free crusts was sorely lacking which is really too bad because I would really like to give this place higher marks.
while this may be the best pizza in seattle, more importantly is Jacques- the owner/chef. New to Seattle, I predict he will soon become recognized as one of the chefs-to-follow in the NW. all the salads, appetizers, etc., are to die for. His credentials are world-class.
so get there while this local gem is accessible and very affordable. it is one special place food food snobs like us, yet a place a young person can learn why we're that way ;)
Decided to try based on reviews. Server was completely clueless even though it was her first day. She helped a table that came after us even though we made reservations and sat before them. We asked how big the pizza was since the menu didn't indicate size. She couldn't explain and pointed to a table that had ordered pizza.
We ordered the credo salad and one pizza. Salad was small and bland. The pizza was more of a personal pizza that was cut in four slices. It tasted fine nothing special. We asked for Parmesan and the server brought us salt!
We ordered another pizza and after waiting another half hour we cancelled it.
Staff did not communicate and seemed lost. Spoke to the owner and was apologetic and told us to come back but we won't.
Better pizza can be had elsewhere. While the toppings were very good, the crust was too soft and doughy. There was also too much of it, i.e., the toppings were concentrated in the center of the pizza rather than spreading out to the edges. Thus, there was about 1.5" - 2" of bland crust around the edge of the pizza. Stoneburner in Ballard and Independent Pizza in Madison Park are the better places to go to get excellent pizza in Seattle.
