Intimate restaurant with good pizza and drinks
We really love this place, the service is friendly and unobtrusive and the food is great. We tend to order and share the pesto pollo calzone, a caesar salad and a couple of manny's. perfect every time!
We eat here regularly. It’s a friendly neighborhood place with great food and great people.
Busy night because it was Valentines Day. We made reservations and expected to be seated in the main area. Instead, we were seated in the next room with young children which was noisy, bright, and very cold! Just expected more because we made reservations. The waitress and receptionist were nice and did their best but had their hands full because they were understaffed. When the food came, it was good. We just expected more because we made a reservation. Walk-ins got better tables than us.😟
One of very few restaurants open Christmas Eve this year in West Seattle. Friendly service and excellent pizza, including the gluten free pizza. Decent glass wine selection and my date enjoyed his dirty gin martini. We love Pizzeria 22 and especially enjoyed our holiday dinner there!
Ambiance not there, no music playing etc and feels like a dive bar, but the service and pizza are great
We love the pizza and I think it is best pizza in West Seattle. Will come back many times. My one complaint, we were sitting towards the back and there was a heavy chemical smell coming from the bathroom. Not sure if it was just cleaned or the chemicals are strong. It distracted from the outstanding meal.
Wonderful as always! Our go to restaurant for birthdays due to the large tables in the side room.
My partner and I dined here for our weekly date night. We had the almonds and charcuterie to start. the Meat platter was so large and well worth the price! For our main dishes we had a calzone and a pizza, both were outstanding!!! Highly recommend this little gem to everyone!!!
The arugula salad was delicious. Good pizzas and reasonably priced!
Pizza is SO GOOD. I had the gluten free crust, which was the best one I have tasted so far, and I've tried a lot of them!
My husband said his pizza (Diablo?) reminded him of the way they make pizza in Naples. YUMMMMMM.
Delicious food and friendly staff as always- very consistant
Great apps, pizza choices, and drink choices.
Great food but for some reason this place never has a waiter on staff and the bartender was too overwhelmed to handle a whole restaurant on Valentine’s Day.
Great pizza and apps. Reasonable price
Poor service. Food was good. Probably won’t be back.
Rehearsal dinner for 30 people! I’m sure we raised the noise level from pretty quiet to riotous! Lol! We enjoyed every minute!
This place is definitely not "quiet" contrary to earlier review(s)
The pizza was very creative and delicious. The S'mores were so tasty! Every pizza place should include S'mores on their menus.
Need air conditioner
Best Pizza in Seattle, and I'm from New Haven CT where we know great pizza. We've tried most of the others and always come back to Pizzeria 22!
By far the best pizza I've had in a long time - proper wood fired, super thin crust, house-made hot oil to drizzle. Our server was just a delight! We had a fabulous time!
Overall our experience was good. The service was a little hit and miss, but in the end we were all well fed (food was great) and the evening was enjoyable.
Service was fantastic and the s'mores are so delicious - but I love the cocktails and wine/beer offering - so much better than via tribunali- highly recommend!!
This place fancies themselves as a "artisan eatery" but the quality of their handmade pizzas do not seem to justify their "artisan prices".
Food was delicious as always. Service was okay it took the waitress a while to approach us. We were in the back room which was extremely loud and distracting with a table of kids. This restaurant is good for large groups but I wouldn't say it's a good place for date night.
Awesome pizza, with truly creative combinations and very pleasant staff
We absolutely love this place! The food is so good and a really great local spot. This last time we were sat on the half of the restaurant that seemed to be more for kids and it was extremely loud. Other than that we had a great time like we normally do.
The pizza made at Pizza 22 could easily stand up and be top shelf in my home town back in Italy. Thin crust, not too oily, ingredients were fresh, knives were sharp, creative optiosn but not weird. Freshly cut prosciutto with a focaccia was a great starter, the dessert (tiramisu) was abs great too. Ambiance in modern, low lights. Price was reasonable. WiIl definitely be back with my celiac wife to test the gluten free options.
We had a nice experience--good food and excellent service--UNTIL we were about to leave. As we left, there was some sort of disturbance involving the owner and two men who were sitting at the bar. The conflict moved to the sidewalk near where our car was parked. We won't be going back to Pizza 22.
Nice local restaurant! Good food, owner comes around to each table to welcome guests...enjoyed this place a lot!
Awful. Our server, who's also apparently the owner, was absent-minded, rude, and absolutely did not deserve the auto gratuity he was awarded due to our party of seven. He brought wrong items, was unapologetic, had to be asked twice for flipping water glasses. The food was "meh". Pizza was doughy, undercooked, and watery. Definitely not returning. Came due to all the positive reviews and was deceived.
Pizza was delicious as always. Great beer on tap. Excellent server - friendly and helpful and funny and charming! This is a great little place for really good pizza in West Seattle. Sat outside on a balmy summer late afternoon - it was perfect!
My husband and ordered the ItalIan sausage pizza and veal meatball appetizer and both were very good. Had a great waiter (Justin i Believe was his name). Would go back again!
Always guaranteed great food and even if it's super busy the food will still always come or fast. Awesome local place not to mention certified
Great neighborhood restaurant.
The pizza put us right back to northern Italy where we had just returned from. It is nice to have such a great reminder of our trip so close to home.
We usually just walk in but I made reservations this time since we had 11 people to celebrate my daughter's 16th birthday. Great food! Great wine! Great birthday!
We bought a 'Pizza Passport' from Seattle Times (1 large pizza per each of the eight restaurants on the list). Decided to do a taste testing tour around town to all 8 pizza places. We were late and have to reschedule our booking with no problem. Saturday night, the restaurant was quite crowd but not over booked, we were able to sit down right away. Staff were attentive and friendly; our food, water and wine all arrived in a timely manner, fresh and hot. Nothing better than hot steamy pizza for a cold night with family together. Our family had a great time.
