We had a late night pizza and also lunch another day and both meals were delicious and fresh. The service was great and we enjoyed everything that we ordered.
First time here and we will definitely be back. From the moment you walk in you know you are in an authentic Italian restaurant. Although we arrived a little early for our reservation we sat at the bar and had a cocktail while discussing the restaurant, menu and the origins of the pizza oven with the owners. They made some great recommendations, the Cavatelli Cavolfiore e Tartufo was without question the best pasta dish we have ever had. We also ordered a Quattro Formaggi pizza with Prosciutto and Arugula. Pizza was delicious, the only downside was it was a little under cooked and soggy. It made me break a cardinal rule - had to eat pizza with a knife and fork! A great restaurant with excellent food and service.
Great service, delicious risotto. Pizza crust was tasty, but soggy. If they had crisped the crust on the bottom, it would have been all 5s.
Phenomenal restaurant. Wonderful exceptional food. I will always come back each time I visit for the great food and atmosphere. Highly recommend this great place
Ever since it opened, I keep returning to PizzArte. It's near my office and I've had both business and personal meals there. One of the best dining options in midtown, and some of my favorite pizza in NYC. The service is always impeccable. Thank you!
This was a great evening. The food, interior design & wait staff were wonderful. The ONLY suggestion would be that they not pack in their tables so close to each other. A little more breathing room & privacy would have been nice. But pretty place, good food & helpful staff means I'll be back!
Nice place, good service and gluten free pizza excellent
The sweetest waiter - Michael! Very attentive - great service!
We WILL be back!
Our complete meal experience was 5 star! So taste full. Perfectly served! The timing of the courses was perfect. The ambience is modern, clean, tasteful. The wine list well composed.
Pizzas are nice but too crowded could not enjoy the food as we both felt crammed in. I would no go again because of this. The staff were really friendly tho and the food wS nice.
Unfortunately for the pizza, which is not bad at all, the impersonable waitstaff at this restaurant makes the overall experience awful. The answer is most certainly a NO to any request that you may have. In a city filled with outstanding pizza options, go anywhere else!
Loved it a lot. Great gluten free pizza that tasted just as good as I remember regular pizza tasting and wonderful dessert. The service were lovely. Will definitely go back!
First time at this restaurant located around the corner from our hotel. We had booked a table in their dining room that is located on the second floor but when we were taken up there we immediately noticed the noise level was significantly louder than at the fully packed bar. It was also a younger more energetic crowd. We decided to eat downstairs at the bar with the adults where we could talk to each other and still hear ourselves. Pizza was outstanding, best I've had in years. Loved the chewy crust and nice balance of toppings. Staff friendly but could have been a little more attentive. Didn't feel rushed, nice relaxing atmosphere. Cocktails we ordered were just okay. Beer & wine are probably their forte. Will definitely go back next trip to NYC. Wish we had found this place years earlier.
Our first trip to NYC! PizzArte was recommended by a friend. We were very satisfied by the food; it was very similar to pizza we had while living in Europe. Overall, a really enjoyable meal and experience!
Tricky review to write!
While the food was good, the service was not. We asked for butter for the bread and were told no. They explained they didn’t give it with bread. Then we moved on to the entree. When I asked them to add mozzarella to my pasta they also told me no. At first I thought they were joking because these seemed like reasonable requests and this is in NYC, but they weren’t!
This is not a customer service oriented restaurant. The food was good, but not good enough to offset the poor customer service.
You can find other restaurants with equally or better food that seek to provide a dining experience that is more hospitable.
The pizzas were delicious and our daughter had pasta bolognese which was really tasty. Would go back again
Such a delicious meal with impeccable service! I still think about the pizza, and you have to start with the lentil soup - amazing!!! The calamari was incredible too. I accidentally left my leftover pizza at the table, and when I came back maybe 15-20 minutes later with very little hope of retrieving it, they actually had been nice enough to save it for me!!! Highly recommend!
Great Italian food. Feels like you are in Italy. Best pizza like in Naples.
My friend and I needed to meet before a concert. We shared a delicious pizza and salad at the bar. The wine was great too. I look forward to returning.
Very attentive, courteous staff. Delicious.
Definite Italian food snob and this was one of the best pizzas ever. Truffle mushroom with pruchetta...yum! Calamari was a great starter as well. If I lived in NYC would come back often.
Nice ambiance, perfect service, pizzas are really good and ok the same price level as other pizza restaurants in NYC. Paying $14 for a spritz is though too much for an Italian restaurant.
Supposed to be good, but the crust was soggy, and the cacio e pepe was watery and without flavor.
The pizza dough was amazing!
Good pizza & pasta near to Rockefeller centre. Friendly staff. Need to book!
a reliable treasure in the neighborhood. it definitely helps to book in advance -- very popular at dinnertime. the seasonal minestrone was a revelation, and the pizzas are excellent.
Real deal neopolitan wood fired pizza served in comfortable location by friendly staff. The menu offers many other non pizza items, including creative salads, entrees, and desserts.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in midtown. The service is attentive and top notch. The food is amazing. The ambience is clean and modern. You can’t go wrong!
Excellent gluten free pizza. Good food, good wine, friendly staff. A wonderful place to start our stay in New York.
Excellent food and excellent staff.
Best gluten free pizza I have ever had!
Would recommend this little gem to anyone.
The food was so good, so Italian!! The space is very narrow so you have to be prepared to squeeze.
The staff was friendly and the pizza was divine. We order the grilled octopus and was very good too.
The only thing we didn’t like was that our reservation was for four for lunch and they decide to seat us in the bar counter instead of a table. The excuse from restaurant was that they were preparing the tables for dinner. Was difficult to enjoy our friends conversation, we complied but they didn’t care.
Service was fine.... food was tasteful. However, we all agreed that the pizza's crust could have been more crunchy/cooked cause we all had to resort to using silverware as the toppings were falling off the dough. And I did mention with the reservation that it was my father's birthday yet we got no acknowledgment of the occasion.
We had a great dinner on Sunday (25 Feb) evening. My wife had a great wood fire pizza. I had one of the evening's specials - Veal and Posciutto Ravioli. It was great as well. Highly recommend having a meal here.
Feels like the places we loved in Italy - wonderful menu, great flavors, good wine choices, and more Italian conversations than we typically hear in the city. Very happy to have found these folks!
Came her for pizza after our trip to Moma. Pizza was delicious and authentically Italian. Starters and pasta and dessert also looked lovely but we only had an hour. Service was excellent.
We had a babe on arms 1 'away crying (sad for the baby and us) very noisy otherwise too. Food is great but not a lot for vegans (cauliflower is fantastic)
We were a large group and they were friendly, attentive and the food was excellent
