PizzArte Ratings and Reviews
Found PizzArte on Trip Advisor, saw it was authentic Cucina Napoletana and gave it a whirl for dinner. Wow. Best of the best in a crowded city.
A beautiful endive salad, a lovely pan roasted salmon and a home made pasta complete with everything shellfish without the shells. Each dish was beautifully prepared and presented. The staff was spot on and super friendly. Could not been more attentive and gracious. Never overbearing, just professional.
Lovely modern setting, small but not cramped. An eclectic mix of real Italian dishes as well as a wood fired pizza oven.
It was so good we returned the next day for a late lunch pizza, true Napoletana pizza.
Our new favorite NYC go to. Thank you for the new friendship and amazing food. Be back very soon. Thank you especially Gerardo and Elena for making us fee like family. I must disclose that my wife is Italian from Ischia off coast of Naples and very particular. This is the real deal.
So good! I am newly gluten free and have been missing pizza very much. When I read the reviews of this restaurant I knew I had to try. My kids enjoyed their pasta and then helped me finish my gluten free pizza That says it all!
Very attentive, genuine staff. A little bit noisy is all. I will go back next time we are in NYC.
The waiter was very nice and respectful. He kept up with our order and explained things to us. Was very good about refills and checking up on us.
The food was excellent. All made to perfection and carefully cooked. Very delicious. Would definitely go again.
This is the second time I ate at Pizzarte in a two week period, and each meal was authentic Italian, healthy and relatively inexpensive. The staff is friendly, helpful and the noise level is bearable. It gets very busy so be sure to leave enough time if you have theater or other plans and it is best to make a reservation.
Our third time visiting since last Christmas. The food is always fresh and delicious. Our son exclaims this is the best pizza anywhere. Pasta is homemade and is cooked to perfection every time. As an Italian American, this is the only place I would eat lasagne or a red sauce, as it tastes just like Nonna’s. Recommend making a reservation, though walkins are seated as available. Great place for a great meal!
We were in the city to attend the Radio City Christmas Show and had lunch before hand. Food was great and the service was as well. I am vegan and my husband is vegetarian while our daughter and granddaughter are neither. There were options for all of us and the food was great.
I have been to PizzArte a few times and each time it had been a pleasurable experience. However today's visit was a huge disappointment. We ordered the Sophia pizza (which is usually very delicious) but it was brought to us cold! When we mentioned this to the server he asked us to put our slightly eaten pizza back on the tray to warm up..are you serious?? Then he said they would bring another pizza and took the half eaten and cold pizza away. Guess what returned to us - the half pizza that we did not eat.. so now I have a cold slices of pizza on my plate that I do not enjoy and a the remaining warmer slices of pizza. So glad I am paying for a full pizza but only get half served.
What kind of service is this? I was quite appalled at this type of service and disappointing that they would not try to correct the situation.
I recommend if you go to make sure your food is hot before eating it otherwise you will be paying for cold or food not worth eating.
We unfortunately ordered the restaurant named pizzaRte pizza which came out as a very wet crusted pie with pooling of liquid runoff from the squash. If you picked up a slice and folded it the end of the slice was falling apart almost as if it was raw dough. On the other hand we had the octopus app which was quite good.
Pizza buonissima cotta alla perfezione, proprio come in Italia. Servizio eccellente con una cameriera che ci ha seguito dall'inizio alla fine con estrema gentilezza e professionalità. Unico neo la confusione ed una acustica non eccezionale
The waiter was very helpful, and made wonderful recommendations on what was coming out off the kitchen that night. He was absolutely spot on. All of his recommendations were really great a nice wine to go with the dinner choices and just the right pizza with yummy seasonal ingredients. We were able to get a reservation early in the afternoon, didn't have to book it days in advance. It was nice to leave the theater and head over to a place that wasn't overrun ...great local spot and a reasonable price.
Promised to take my Children to NYC to see the Tree, walk around the Park, see the sights . Didn’t know where to eat . Pulled up Open Table App and looked for restaurants that we would all like- can’t go wrong with Italian ! We walked from Central Park and arrived 30 min early . The staff was warm, welcoming and understanding. We waited to the side maybe 5 minutes and then they quickly seated us .
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area near Carnegie Hall. We've walked in on several occasions for lunch (no reservation) and have been seated at the bar. Great pizza! This time we had reservations for dinner, and were seated upstairs at a table. My husband had the octopus appetizer, which he said was great, and then he couldn't pass up a pizza. I had the carpaccio, which was very nicely presented, and the cavetelli with cauliflower and truffles. WOW! You really can taste the difference with freshly made pasta.
