The Infatuation

PizzArte is not just another pizza joint. It also happens to be an art gallery. That must have sounded awesome in the business plan.

What a great find. Started with pizza to share.... just would like the crust to be more crispy. Otherwise great. Followed with delicious pasta. One of the best!! Dessert was awesome, the flourless chocolate cake. Would definitely book again on next NY trip.

interesting pizza menu, along with salads and a few other items. Our pizza was very tasty but would have preferred a more well done, crispier crust. Attractive, comfortable setting.

Fast, friendly, tasty, and, by locale, reasonably priced. It's really a pizza place, but it has a variety of typically Italian style dishes of pasta as well as burgers. The crowd was young but not teenage.

Went there twice. First time service was decent and food was good. Second time it was more than 30
Minutes after our arrival before our order was taken. Drinks, food were slow. Minestrone was not as described on menu. It took us nearly 10 minutes to get our check desire the fact that we told them at the beginning we had theatre tickets. Disappointing. Won’t return because too inconsistent

We were looking forward to eating pizza in New York City and were very disappointed. Pizza was under cooked and have eaten frozen pizza with more flavor. Nice atmosphere and wait staff was pleasant.

We had eaten at PizzArte before and our resident gluten allergy sufferer declared it the best pizza she had ever eaten, high praise indeed! This time we brought along a "real" New Yorker, who also blessed the product as legit pizza. Therefore I think it's fair to say that PizzArte serves up some of the best pies in the city!

I picked PizzArte because one of my friends has to have gluten-free. There were plenty of choices for her, and we all loved the gluten-free focaccia. That was a pleasant surprise. The grilled octopus was delicious, and the ravioli with eggplant was also very good. What we all liked was the reasonably-sized portions. We could finish our meal and not feel we had to take home 1/2 the meal. We didn’t have time for dessert, but the menu looked interesting.

This great mid-town Italian gem always pleases, whether for a couple or a large group. Authentic pizzas and pastas, wood-fired oven, wide variety of Italian wines plus a full bar. Friendly staff who recognize and welcome even semi-regulars. A great spot for a date or a celebration.

There was confusion with our reservation because we arrived 10 minutes early. So we were sat in the walk-in seating. Which was still nice. Orderedbpizzas which were all delicious. Even the "plain only" pizza eating child was very happy. Probably the best thin and chewy crust pizza in Midtown.

We thought the food was really good for the price. It was very close to our hotel. The service was excellent. The seating is very tight and we unfortunately sat next to some fairly obnoxious malpractice attorneys. Outside of that, I would highly recommend this restaurant. The pizzas were fantastic. We had a pasta with an onion and lamb ragout that was really excellent. Altogether a very nice dining experience.

Thank you to the accommodating staff tonight! The pizza and salmon were very good as were the cocktails. Stefano, thank you for being the best bartender! It was our friends' first time at the restaurant, and they said they would be returning, as will we.

I really like the taste of the pizza (the dough is pretty good), and even though I recommended this place before, and wanted to bring my sister who is visiting, this time our experience was not so pleasant. We couldn't talk, because since we set foot on the restaurant and at least 5 times after that, a staff member kept warning us that the kitchen was about to close. That happened despite the fact that we ordered right away after we sat. The conversation was disturbed many times with this same information, and all we wanted to do was finish the pizza and get out of there as fast as possible. Don't think I will be back.

First time here and we will definitely be back. From the moment you walk in you know you are in an authentic Italian restaurant. Although we arrived a little early for our reservation we sat at the bar and had a cocktail while discussing the restaurant, menu and the origins of the pizza oven with the owners. They made some great recommendations, the Cavatelli Cavolfiore e Tartufo was without question the best pasta dish we have ever had. We also ordered a Quattro Formaggi pizza with Prosciutto and Arugula. Pizza was delicious, the only downside was it was a little under cooked and soggy. It made me break a cardinal rule - had to eat pizza with a knife and fork! A great restaurant with excellent food and service.

This was a great evening. The food, interior design & wait staff were wonderful. The ONLY suggestion would be that they not pack in their tables so close to each other. A little more breathing room & privacy would have been nice. But pretty place, good food & helpful staff means I'll be back!
