PizzArte Ratings and Reviews
The waiter was very helpful, and made wonderful recommendations on what was coming out off the kitchen that night. He was absolutely spot on. All of his recommendations were really great a nice wine to go with the dinner choices and just the right pizza with yummy seasonal ingredients. We were able to get a reservation early in the afternoon, didn't have to book it days in advance. It was nice to leave the theater and head over to a place that wasn't overrun ...great local spot and a reasonable price.
Promised to take my Children to NYC to see the Tree, walk around the Park, see the sights . Didn’t know where to eat . Pulled up Open Table App and looked for restaurants that we would all like- can’t go wrong with Italian ! We walked from Central Park and arrived 30 min early . The staff was warm, welcoming and understanding. We waited to the side maybe 5 minutes and then they quickly seated us .
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the area near Carnegie Hall. We've walked in on several occasions for lunch (no reservation) and have been seated at the bar. Great pizza! This time we had reservations for dinner, and were seated upstairs at a table. My husband had the octopus appetizer, which he said was great, and then he couldn't pass up a pizza. I had the carpaccio, which was very nicely presented, and the cavetelli with cauliflower and truffles. WOW! You really can taste the difference with freshly made pasta.
Excellent Italian restaurant at reasonable prices for Midtown, with varied menu including delicious pizzas and dinner options. Service is friendly and efficient. Dining space is a bit cramped and crowded especially at peak hours. But still an overall great dining experience.
I found PizzArte online while searching for gluten free pizza options in NYC. It had good reviews of their GF pizza and good pizza is one thing I’ve missed since going GF. We made evening reservations, but got hungry earlier and were in the area, so we popped by to see if they could accommodate us. They seated us right away upstairs. It’s not a large place and they have as many tables squeezed in as possible. The noise level is high, so if you’re planning to have an intimate conversation, forget it. We tried some new to us Italian beers which were yummy. Instead of salad, we ordered a trio of side dishes, zucchini, eggplant and potatoes. The eggplant and zucchini were not as hot as we’d liked, but still tasty. I ordered a GF Margherita pizza and my husband ordered a regular pizza with Italian ham. It was the best GF pizza I’ve had so far and I tried my best to eat the whole thing! We finished the meal off with an order of Tiramisu. It’s our favorite dessert and although it was not GF, I cheated and ate half. Delicious! Overall, we were very pleased and will definitely go back the next time we’re in NYC.
I have Celiac and found this restaurant on the app Find Me GF and it did not disappoint. The gluten free pizza was absolutely AMAZING. I was diagnosed over 10 years ago and this pizza was truly the BEST I have had since I went to Italy before going gluten free.
My husband could not tell the difference between the regular pizza crust and the gf crust. I am addicted and want to travel to NYC once a month to get my fix!
The service was quite friendly and I went with my wife for our Anniversary and pre-theatre dinner, they were attentive to our needs realizing we had limited time till our show
Delicious salad and the pizza had wonderfully fresh ingredients, delicious cheese and olive oils
When we ready to leave, they totally surprised us with a wonderful sweet anniversary desert, we were pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend for pre or post theatre
Pizza is great- crust is delicious, some are much better than others (we tried the tasting pizza) . Pasta and app was good but the pizza is definitely the highlight here. Great staff, fun spot. Very small space . Would be good for a quick bite or lunch as well
I chose this restaurant because I am severely celiac and had heard about the gluten free pizza. Took an account here for a more casual business dinner, a party which no one besides myself was gluten free. All patrons loved the menu (non gluten), good value, and the restaurant is trendy enough that it worked well for business dinner--or even a casual friend gathering. So appreciated the teams attention to gluten free dietary requirement. Highly recommend.
Pre- NYC Marathon carb loading, with a need for a quiet place, quality food and some nice red wine. Service was excellent, value OK, meaning the cost for a relatively small amount of pasta seemed out of norm, just made me pause when I left a bit hungry which isn't the desired outcome for a guest at a traditional Italian restaurant.
