Pizza here is terrific..always good ingredients
Better than most places love the little meatballs &also bread sticks
A luscious lunch, we come here a few times a year..worth the ride
Have been dining at Elizabeth’s for years and it never disappoints!
We enjoyed meeting there. It’s a fun, lively spot. We were surprised that one of the salads used only basil for the greens. It needed a mixture.
Given the 98% Open Table recommendation, I thought this would be a very special place. It was OK. Heirloom tomato tartine with smashed avocado and ricotta sounded delicious but the presentation was so much less. Same with the Panzanella. Queen pie was OK but didn’t take it home. The Montgomery pie was worth eating. Chicken tortilla soup was good. We live 30 minutes away. Won’t go back.
There was an issue with our friends drink it was not handled properly at first. The bottle was given to the hostess to bring to the table....that was offensive! I guess the bar tender thought he should make another drink an bring it over to the customer and explain what was in it. In the end the waitress took it off the bill which was appreciated.
Pizza by Elizabeth’s is consistently a very good place to meet friends for a meal, enjoy a good glass of wine and select from menu of interesting pizzas. A friend and I usually order large salad to share and a pizza to share as main course. This time we revered the “Saint” with crab topping, tasty but pretty oily/greasy. I just started Weight Watchers so the meal, while enjoyable, cost me a lot of points for the day!
Fun afternoon with family enjoying creative pizzas and yummy salads! So enjoyed the ambiance and attentive service. We are anxious to return to experience the next round of pizza choices.
We have been eating at PBE’s for years and will continue to because it is close and generally good. However, over the last couple of years, we have often noticed that it is not what it used to be. It is not as clean, the food is fine but very pricey for what it is (salad and pizza) and although they used to be (15 years ago) one of the few places with GF pizza and sensitivity to those with GF issues, they have not changed their pizza crust and it is no longer close to being the best. I no longer eat GF pizza there very often because it is disappointing. Their soups are often good but they are small portions for the price and many times have no GF options and then have 2 (it would be great if they could try to have one at all times). I just hate to see a place that has been a staple for us not continue to stay what it once was.
Always consistently delicious!
Love this place and all of the creative veggie and vegan options! I go here on dates with my hubby and also bring the kids other times. It's great for business lunches and girl-friend get togethers. Overall a great dining experience no matter what you go there for!
On vacation we stopped at Pizza by Elizabeths and enjoyed the dining experience. The pizza and baked brie appetizer were excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We definitely recommend it to anyone else for terrific pizza as well as will stop in again if we are ever in the area.
Great food! Great service! Thank you for everything!
Pizza was so delicious. Love the ambiance of this place.
Had a wonderful meal with friends, one who had never been there before. Now another fan of this restaurant!
Excellent as always! Out of town visitor and visited every day of her stay!
Very nice hip not too classy but definitely up there:)
This was our second visit. Food and service were very good. Make sure to make reservations, it can get crowded.
A very unique, fun environment. Creative pizzas and salads were greatly enjoyed by our party of four. Salad dressings were particularly notable. Service was outstanding. We can't wait to return.
No price specials ever
2 small salads
4glasses of wine
Excellent food, generally lovely service, and a clean beautiful restaurant. Some work needs to be done in the ladies room, however: handicapped stall lacked proper designation, the stall door lock was unworkable, and you really need to get rid of the cheap, poorly scented hand soap. The cheap candles have disappeared, and that's an improvement. But why ruin an otherwise outstanding restaurant with grocery store hand soap that smells so awful? I beg of you!
Always pleasant there! The food is amazing. It’s one of our favorite places.
The food was very good. Few options for vegan diet, which is appreciated. The vegan pizza base was not the best, but every other ingredient was fresh and delicious. Service is on the slower side but allows for ample time to enjoy your company. Overall, nice place for special occasion.
Pizza by Elizabeths is always a great choice no matter the occasion!
They sat us in the back section which is not as appealing as the front. Would have rated higher if we had been seated in the main dining room.
Awesome salads with homemade dressing!
Pizza by Elizabeth is a favorite restaurant. We love the large, diverse menu. The atmosphere is friendly and comfy. The wait staff is excellent. My friend broke her wine glass all over her pizza. Wine and pizza were replaced within minutes. We were quite impressed.
Food was outstanding! Loved the ambiance, the menu and the service!!!
Artichoke dip was cold.
Waiter never offered fresh pepper or grated cheese for pizza as I saw other servers later do.
Tried to overleaf our table with plates without clearing appetizer ones first.
Checked on us infrequently.
This wasn't the first time that we've dined at Pizza by Elizabeth, but it is the first time that we have been disappointed. The restaurant was almost empty when we sat down, yet we watched our pizzas sit on the counter across from the pizza oven for several minutes before we were served. When they arrived we were surprised to see the meager toppings on the crust. We've enjoyed pizzas at this restaurant many times before and there was always a good ratio of topping to crust, but this time there was at least a 2 inch border between the crust and the fillings. My husband just ate the sections with fillings and left a plate piled with big pieces of crust- the server was nice, but never asked if there was a problem with the meal. Will we go back? Probably. But, we won't have the enthusiasm that we had prior to this visit.
Great vegan options
Exceptional value for excellent pizza. I love their build your own pizzas which you can specifics as many ingredients as you want! Ambiance is very unique and nice too.
I've never had a bad meal at Pizza by Elizabeth. Wonderful ambiance. Good service. Food is delicious.
We are regulars at this restaurant, but the timing of the food from the kitchen was very off. Took forever to get salad and immediately after the main course was served.
Great place!!! Delicious food! But it can get really crowded.
Always delicious and consistent.
Lively atmosphere and great seafood salad loaded with crab and shrimp!
Although the restaurants ambiance is pleasant enough, our server who seemed to forget about us constantly (to the point where we had to ask a busboy to get her for us) and the pizza crusts severe lack of flavor/blandness is enough to reconsider giving this place a second chance.
It was our anniversary it was absolutely great!!!
This is our go-to place when we visit the Brandywine valley. Our first visit was to the original location and the two subsequent visits were to the new and better location. Many unique dinner choices ( our new favorite is the Shannon pizza). Service is always top notch.
I really like this restaurant. I was a little disappointed that my husband and I were placed at a table that was close to another customer even though we had a reservation and booths were available. Once the other customer left, we felt like we had more privacy and less distraction.
