Pix - Soho
Perfect for a light lunch or casual afternoon business meeting, the pace begins to pick-up around 5:30pm, delivering a decidedly more energised experience as the evening progresses.
Love this place! Great set up as the food comes out in small batches so it’s super fresh and gone within minutes. We were gutted we didn’t get calamari while we were there but we ate enough of all the other tapas to forget it was even missing really. The waiter was so good (wish I knew the name) but we asked if there were more churros coming out and he brought 5 fresh ones to our table. Great food, great value!
Relaxed, hassle-free option for meeting up with friends as has a heated outdoors area. Easy food ordering (just go up and choose from the tapas on the bar) whilst drinks can be ordered from the serving staff. Food was tasty and wine was good. Enjoyable, casual evening with friends
Food is great, although the outdoor seating is a bit of a mess, very noisy
Great place but a little disorganised. Difficult to get served for food on a Friday night. Needs a menu to order from and table service, like everywhere else. Felt very hectic and we were rushed out very quickly, great for drinks and nibbles.
In general a really nice cosy atmosphere but had to wait for our drinks for a long time while waiters chatted with each other. Had to ask multiple people for it, the same when it came time to pay. Not being in a rush didn't mind it too much as otherwise everyone was friendly and polite, great wine & snacks. But having had to ask multiple times/ people for our drinks order and then bill reduced the overall score..
Really authentic pintxos and all tasty. I dined with my friend at an outside table and the heating was nice and warm. We will definitely go back again!
Brilliant food and service by a team who look after their customers
Be aware you have to queue at the counter for food - the queue stretched out the front door. The tapas aren't labelled and there's no menu, so you have to ask what everything is, which takes time. They had run out of many of the popular items (patatas bravas, tortilla...) and the server wasn't able to tell me if/when any more were coming. Food was very good, but getting it is a hassle!
Tapas to be picked up at the counter ; mostly cold. Menu - don’t bother , u only get what’s available at the counter . Completely misleading!!!!!!!
Service charge approx. £10 ; not sure what for if needed to go pick up food myself and bring it back myself to the table.
The staff are very nice and the place is cosy; the food selection was quite good too
Booked outdoor table for 6 due to wanting to see friends but stick to rules. Lovely outdoor area covered with heaters- felt very safe and relatively normal! We were all wrapped up warm and had a great evening. Thank you!
Great service and attentive staff. Safe environment for covid
We sat outside and the heaters didn’t work. It was so cold we couldn’t wait to finish as it was too cold
Really nice evening, would recommend for relaxed food and drinks
Buzzing restaurant, lovely atmosphere and very nice desserts
Great food, interesting flavours. Staff were friendly and helpful
Good night out in London
The food was incredible but the staff were incredibly dismissive and didn’t care about service. No one came to check on us once, every encounter we had was initiated by us. It’s a good place for small nibbles, but be prepared for a self-service dinner with bottom barrel service
Good pinxtos, small measure on the Manzanilla! Friendly staff, seating could be more comfy- wooden stools. A little pricey for dinner.
Estaba todo bastante bueno, aunque algunos de los platos calientes estaban solo templados. En general hay un buen servicio y todos los trabajadores son muy amables
Went for my friends birthday and what they do not tell you is that they do not have everything on the menu at all. Food was cold, not good for vegetarians and service very slow. We understand it’s harder with COVID but drinks would take up to 30 mins each time to arrive with not a very busy place at all. Would not recommend.
Food good, staff great but very quiet
Pix is always a favourite although it was our first visit to the Bateman Street venue. Food excellent as ever and the staff helpful in finding us a table where we felt safe and comfortable given the Covid situation. Eating out was always going to be more challenging than pre-covid but we had a great evening.
Great little restaurant, lovely food lively atmosphere
Loved the food and the service
Not big choice of food, not very good value for money
You know what, the service during the evening wasn’t great. What I appreciate though is the ease of contacting Pix to move times and tables over the phone. Plus loved the ambience and the buffet style. One of my favourite places.
Great food. Didn’t feel massively spaced out, and there wasn’t anyone around to take drinks orders later in the evening.
Sad to say that my experience at Pix Soho was really poor. I had booked a table for my boyfriend's birthday, which I had also noted on my booking. We were seated on a tiny table by the open door - baring in mind that it was incredibly windy and also raining that day. People were constantly coming in and out, either queuing to order food, or waiting for a table. Not the vibe I was expecting for a birthday. The table could only fit one plate on, it was extremely cramped and people nearly knocked out drinks off when walking past.
There wasn't really any service, no-one asked us about our food and it just didn't feel very welcoming. Admittedly the food was really good, and the guy serving it was informative and friendly. Otherwise the rest of the staff were not at all bothered, and I saw a few people on their phone. This could've been work-related but seemed quite unprofessional and not worth the service charge!
Unfortunately, the speaker was also blasting out music, and we couldn't really speak to each other. We left after one round of tapas and went to a Korean place around the corner - better value for money, far better hospitality and amazing staff!
The cocktails were exceptional (those dining with me agreed) and the food was great - plenty of veggie options for me.
Good tunes and a nice atmosphere. A very enjoyable night.
bad quality of food and overpriced. poor customer service and definitely the worst tapas bar in London
Such a fun and unique experience with warm and helpful staff.
Overpriced for what it was. Was nice to sit outside but no table service for food.
Lovely evening, with great food . Service excellent
Great atmosphere, food and service. Would definitely go back again.
Our waitress was lovely, however when I asked for dessert menu from a waiter he told me to look for my own eyes up at the bar where the food is - he then just walked away. Tapas is traditionally known as little plates to share - there’s no sharing involved here. It is all about a mouthful, so don’t go when your hungry. None of it is warm, all arrives cold. Overall very basic, below average experience.
We enjoyed our evening but for a large group food portion sizes not adequate.
Being Spanish it’s nice to have food from your own country once in a while. The food was tasty but, I found it to fashion that it kind of lost the Spanish tapas sense...
Pix has a wonderful vibe, however, the staff are not very attentive and the food was like warm.
It was extremely disappointing to see how the server missed out and served us pork even though we informed her in the beginning. After that she had the audacity to out the entire bill of food on the house which was probably £20 due to the eat out to help out but disgracely took money for our drinks. It was horrible
