FOOD del sud della Georgia. Una tappa da fare per gustare nuovi sapori. Da provare
The food here was AMAZING!! Everything we had was great. I will definitely be back (especially for the chicken salad!) Our server Denise was AMAZING too!
The food was average and the service was fair to average. For the price and given our experience, I wouldn't go back.
Wow what a great time we had the full tourist experience but the chicken was first class
An acceptable option if attending the Tabernacle for an event. Food isn't amazing, but is fine. Fried chicken was good. Prices for food & drinks are on the high side, but with only a few, overly-crowded neighborhood dinner options, this served our purpose well before a comedy show at the Tabernacle. Open Table reservation worked great and they had plenty of seating, although moderately busy. A short walk; about 4 blocks away. I'd go again next time we go to the Tabernacle for an event. Service was friendly and good.
You know a restaurant is good when you refer to it is "your place". That's what happened when a colleague and I visited while on a business trip. I wanted some comfort food and this place had it all going on. From the wonderful staff to the delicious food, I will always come back to Pittypat's porch. Good old fashioned southern cooking. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of salt. And I would give anything to be able to make mashed potatoes and gravy like they do. The cornbread was awesome, but you definitely have to top off your meal with their delicious peach cobbler. I can't wait to head back to Atlanta. This place will always be my go-to restaurant after a long day of business.
I sent my Exec's after an all day meeting and they loved it. The food quality was good, the salad bar was the talk of the office and the ambiance was perfect to bring down the stress of the day. They were very happy with this selection.
Really enjoyed the Southern tastes and the amazing hospitality. It was the experience we were hoping for. The fried chicken and pecan pie were worth the visit alone. Bring an empty stomach!
First time experience!! Really enjoyed it!!
Great staff and food! We had a wonderful time. Too much food to finish.
The atmosphere was nice, but the food was mediocre.
Richard, the server, was excellent. The hostess I remember from previous visits. I missed her giving the details about what was on the salad bar this time-she is a hoot!
Mixed grill was disappointing. Meats had good flavor, but were tough. Mashed potatoes were the highlight of the entree. Salad bar was good. Perhaps the pecan pie was normal for GA, however, it was very light on filling compared to what I'm accustomed in TX.
It was wonderful!!! Great food and service. Definitely would come back and recommend to everyone!
There were some local menu, which were nice, but volume was too big.
I wanted to like this place but I am afraid it is a tourist trap. We all had the combo plate which was fried chicken and ribs. The fried chicken was OK but not outstanding. The ribs were not good, the sauce was way too sweet and lacked any taste other than sugar. Service was competent and the Gone With the WInd décor was nice. Highlight of the meal was the sweet and sour pickled watermelon from the salad bar, wish I'd had more of that. Pecan pie was mediocre.
We won’t be back. Food was overpriced and not hot. Service was somewhat dismissive as well.
Pittypat’s was excellent!! We had a large group and they were so accommodating. Food was delicious and service was incredible!
This was a great find and worthy recommendation by the Atlanta Hilton concierge. The food was terrific and the service was great, starting form the hostess that greeted our party to the bartender that served us as we waiting for our table to the waitress that treated us like family and gave good recommendation about the menu items. Our food came and no one in our party was disappointed and the portions were generous. the patio has a street view, but has cool breezes and allows you soak up the atmosphere of downtown Atlanta while feeling you're on your own back porch.
My wife and I love this place. We went on our first date here so it has sentimental value to us.
We waited at least 45 minutes for our sons hamburger to arrive. He was starving and ended up eating most of my meal. By the time he got his food, we were all finished eating. We waited another 20 minutes or so to get our bill.
There was nothing that was a wow factor... food was just ok and the were knats on and flying over salad bar area... floor was sticky and carpet was dirty... hope Aunt PittyPat was cleaner and the value was not there for the food served I suggest going to a local stop for less pice but same effect
This is a kind of throw back place with a long life and reputation as a Southern “must”. It looks a little tired but remains busy. Our party of three had a very nice waiter and service was good. Portions are plentiful and I would rate the food as ok with a +. The filet was very tasty, the mashed potatoes were so so. The others at my table ordered crab cakes and the catfish and both reported as good. The tomatoes on the salad bar were fresh and in season. A place for the very hungry and someone who is not overly particular about the food. The other tables seemed to be filled with people having a very good time with each other so ones experience will greatly be influenced by who you attend with.
Nostalgic southern dining experience and a treasure trove for Gone with the Wind movie enthusiasts.
Food menu offers great choice and quality met expectations, overall a value for money experience that will have to be visited again.
Fried Chicken and Fish were both served hot and fresh. Service was excellent. The biscuits and cornbread did not seem as good as the last time I visited - not as flavorful or fresh, but the chicken is the main draw.
I went to pity pats years ago and loved it. Definitely not as good as I remember. The fried chicken was ok, not spectacular and overpriced. The waitress seemed rushed and basically told us what to order. The waitress suggested mac and cheese with the chicken. I thought it was part of the meal. It was not. The cornbread was dry and tasteless. Not good for a restaurant that features it's cornbread. The only thing special on the salad bar was the pickled watermelon. Sides of greens and black-eyed peas do come with the meal. They were not served with the main course. I requested them midway through the meal. They NEVER showed up at the table. I finally requested a check and left. I would not suggest this restaurant. I promised my wife an exceptional Southern meal. It was not.
Excellent food! Best Southern food I've had outside my own house.
Denise our waitress made the experience Fantastic!
Fantastic southern comfort food and warm friendly staff!
I really enjoyed your restaurant, however it was extremely hot in the place, need better ac.. The food and the salad bar was amazing. The yummy homemade muffins were delicious 😋. The waiter was so polite and friendly.
It was great! The food was wonderful and service excellent. I will definitely go again for dinner next time I’m in Atlanta!
It was nit the cleanest restaurant. The waiter wasnt very pleasant. My mom is a vegetarian and he couldnt recommend alot. It was very dark and dingy.
Sat there for 10 minutes never took our drink order when she did approach she was rude. Still did not take the drink order! The restaurant was extremely hot. Finally after 30 minutes we got up and walked out! Never will return!!!
Our server, Terrence, remembered us from a previous visit.... over a year ago. The music is awesome. A+++++
Great food but a little loud.
Just HORRIBLE !!!!!!! Rude, Rude, Rude hostess. An hour wait with reservations.
Very Busy, but wait staff was hustling to take care of everyone. Did not want to share a table and they had many 6 tops and we trying to get couples to share to not waste space, I get it, but was not pleased. We sat at the bar instead of a table.
Fried chicken was excellent however the Gouda cheese grits tasted like cleaner fluid was in them. Desserts were amazing!!! Definitely recommend the bread pudding!!!
Really wanted to like this place more. Despite our reservation, we were seated after the four or five walkins around us, eventually having to settle for the outside porch even though it was at least 85 degrees.
Meal itself was pretty good, some Ups and downs. Fried chicken was outstanding. Greens were so salty and vinegary we couldn’t eat them. Black eyed peas were kinda blah. Cornbread was ok. Salad bar highlights were the chicken salad recommended by our server and it was delicious! The pickled watermelon rind was a unique touch and I enjoyed it. The rest was merely ok. Could have used more veggies. Dessert was a real Disappointment. Cake tasted like box mix with chocolate sauce thrown over and was dry. Bread Pudding was awful. Super strong alcohol flavor and mushy otherwise. Worst one I’ve had and I love most bread puddings.
Unfortunately any positives in the food were totally overshadowed by the end of meal service. We waited on the suddenly very hot porch for 45 minutes for our check! Most of the guests had cleared out so busy was not a factor. The table next door had actually seated most Of the way through our meal. Even they were done by the time we got our check. Our waitress knew we were aggravated but just wished us a good night. We suspected she had been outside on break or spending time talking or on phone or something as we did not see her hustling anywhere. Our tip reflected the poor service at just 10%. I cant remember the last time I did that. First time there and sadly our last. We won’t be back.
