Pitrelli's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Took us over an hour to get our entrees. When they arrived my lasagna was good, but not amazing. My wife's order was wrong, but she ate it anyway because she was very hungry at that point. She said it was so-so the pasta was more hard than al denta in some bites.
This was our 2nd visit. It was not as great as the first visit. Our food was boarder line warm. Certainly not hot. Service was very slow. Most everyone enjoyed the flavor of their dinner. However, one of us had the Short Rib Ravioli and it was not as good as expected and the portion was very small. Left feeling hungry. We will give it another try but will stick to traditional pasta dishes.
Food was burnt, sat under heat lamp. Send vice very slow for 7 pm Thursday night. Pasta covered in oil so it wouldn’t stick over powered the sauce. Did not live up to reviews. Got up and left after 2 bites of pasta. Wife couldn’t even get down bite of chicken.
Pitrelli's was amazing! My wife and I loved it. We came here from a suggestion from OpenTable. We were celebrating our engagement anniversary. We were very impressed with the whole experience from the moment we walked in and the owner greeted us and then sat us. The owner even greeted me by name which was a nice touch. Our waiter was friendly and also very attentive. We would definitely come back here to celebrate many different occasions.
This was our first visit to Pitrelli’s restaurant and we were more than satisfied, This is a wonderful family owned restaurant that is welcoming to all. We had a 16 month old with us and he was treated like royalty by everyone who works at the restaurant. The food was fantastic and the ambience was wonderful. We will definitely be making this one of our go to restaurants!!!
We had an early reservation, so we got there before the restaurant was really busy, yet the service was very slow. We waited probably 10-15 minutes before our drinks even came out. When we were seated we asked for a kids menu and were told they don't have a kids menu but we could just order a smaller portion of anything on the menu. We ordered ravioli for our 6 year old but when we received the check and saw $16 for his entrée we questioned the server who told us the person who seated us was wrong, they don't do smaller portions, sorry about that. The server in general was slow and not very upbeat. Overall very disappointing experience.
They do a lovely job here. Unique atmosphere, attentive service, good food, convenient parking, personable. Nothing silly or pretentious. Food well prepared and flavorful w/out being salty. Nice, palatable and reasonably priced wine list. Artichoke and spinach rice balls were exceptional! Pizzas looked good. Shrimp bruschetta pasta was lovely. Wished I had tried the porchinni ravioli!
The Chicken Parmisian and Lagsagna were wonderful and large portions at very reasonable prices. They have a good selection of wine. The service was lacking as we waiting for 45 minutes for our food. They waiter stopped by 30 minutes later to say they had a large group present but didnt offer more bread or ask for more drinks. We seated at a table and asked for a booth nearby, but were told it was for people with reservations. We had reservations and no one sat their during the 2 hours we were there. Overall good food run by a local family, hopefully the service isnt normally this way and should be worth a try.
Sausage & shrimp spezzatino was just ok. Too much pasta and shrimp was tiny and not enough.
Spaghetti and meatballs was good, but meatballs not cooked all the way through- cold in the center.
Really enjoyed the house side salad with the balsamic vinegarette dressing. Wish the dressing was available to buy.
A GEM!!!!! Been looking for a good Italian restaurant for a long time. Found it. The service professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful; the food....where to begin...delicious, perfect seasoning, perfect temperature, more than enough (take home makes me happy); the atmosphere subdued, pleasant, sufficient space between tables and booths; recorded music...nice and low; will return to enjoy strolling violinist. Simply said, "thank you, thank you, thank you!!!"
It’s an adorable family run small business. The tables are a little close together so I wouldn’t really go here for a first date. But the atmosphere is great. The servers are very knowledgeable and friendly. The menu selection is expansive in terms of Italian food. They’ve had good deals on wines the past few times I’ve went as well. I definitely plan to go back again soon!
I love this place and see it as a hidden gem. My only “complaint” or dissatisfier was the lack of attention from our waiter. It was clearly obvious he was taking care of a lot of tables but we never seemed to be top of mind. I don’t know if they were short staffed that night but it took him almost thru half of our meal before he asked how it was. For a place that’s on the higher priced side (but delicious), it would have been nice to get a little More attention from our waiter.
Numerous visits to this restaurant and never a bad experience. I know we have other choices, but why would we need to choose another restaurant? Staff is always friendly and service is fantastic. Food is always prepared thoroughly and flavor, taste and value never disappoints. It's just such a pleasure to have a restaurant of this quality always available and so reliable. The ownership are genuinely glad to see you and appreciative of your business.
