Pitrelli's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
It had been a while since our last visit and found it to be as enjoyable experience as before. From the greeting at the front door to the friendly service provided by David along with the plentiful tasty food, an overall great experience.
Glad to see Jim has continued this great and local dining experience.
Overall the food was fantastic and service was amazing. We normally get out in the booths in front two rooms with nice lighting and atmosphere. We sat for first time in rear room. Which is well lit and just tables and really nothing special about it and really took away from Ambience and that being big reason we went on Valentine’s Day it kinda really sucked.
We went for Valentine's day. My wife's meal came out, but they got mine wrong (Chicken Parmesan). My food did not come out until my wife was almost done with hers. I'm not even sure my waitress was aware since they used runners and never interacted with me on how late my meal was. Generally would expect a comp or a desert since it was so late and a special occasion. They offered the dessert menu and the check before we were done with our food--probably due to the delay from the kitchen. Food was fantastic, but a frustrating situation. The waitress was not put in a winning situation due to the kitchen and was attentive otherwise.
This was our first visit to Pitrelli’s and it was Wonderful! Our server was very friendly and discussed the menu with us. The food was delicious and serving portion were more than adequate so be prepared to box some up for your next meal. The raspberry cheesecake was so creamy and chocolate crust just took it over the top! We will be visiting again!
Pitrelli’s is a favorite of my wife and I. We caught them on a night where they only had one server due to illness and a big wine tasting going on so the kitchen was backed up. We had to wait a while to get our food but it was excellent as usual. I tried the basil pesto sauce for the first time and it was very good.
Not a great first impression when you ask for more bread and your waiter tells you that "you better eat the bread because most people that ask for seconds, typically don't" Really??? So tacky....plus had to ask for a glass of wine 3 times. Service was not good. Not sure we will be back.
From the minute I walked in I felt comfortable from Jim the owner talking to me like we were old friends, to the hostess, and our server who were all amazing. Best italian food ive ever had.
Thank you for creating a great memory for us and hopefully many more to come.
We have a monthly get together, the Ya Yas! We've been friends for almost 40 years and love trying new restaurants. Our first time to Pitrellis was a good one and will be worth returning! The lasagna was authentic and the bread and garlic butter - yum!
We really loved the pictures in the entrance way. Family all the way!
Took us over an hour to get our entrees. When they arrived my lasagna was good, but not amazing. My wife's order was wrong, but she ate it anyway because she was very hungry at that point. She said it was so-so the pasta was more hard than al denta in some bites.
This was our 2nd visit. It was not as great as the first visit. Our food was boarder line warm. Certainly not hot. Service was very slow. Most everyone enjoyed the flavor of their dinner. However, one of us had the Short Rib Ravioli and it was not as good as expected and the portion was very small. Left feeling hungry. We will give it another try but will stick to traditional pasta dishes.
Food was burnt, sat under heat lamp. Send vice very slow for 7 pm Thursday night. Pasta covered in oil so it wouldn’t stick over powered the sauce. Did not live up to reviews. Got up and left after 2 bites of pasta. Wife couldn’t even get down bite of chicken.
Pitrelli's was amazing! My wife and I loved it. We came here from a suggestion from OpenTable. We were celebrating our engagement anniversary. We were very impressed with the whole experience from the moment we walked in and the owner greeted us and then sat us. The owner even greeted me by name which was a nice touch. Our waiter was friendly and also very attentive. We would definitely come back here to celebrate many different occasions.
