Pitrelli's Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Wanted to take my brother here as he does not eat at Italian restaurants. He fell in love with the place as soon as we were seated due to the ambiance. Then we ordered food and he became even more impressed when food arrived. so he said after meal that he definitely would want to come back. Service was great as well as food. Doesn't look like much from outside but makes up for it inside.
Special wS perfect DNS as described. Service was stellar. By our choice we were there for 2.5 hours and did not feel pushed to leave and were not forgotten even after the bill was paid. This is our go to place for great food. A Mason original by great people!
The $$ is mis leading. Easily $$$$. No way a simple speghetti dinner for two should cost $110 after tip. Very expensive for what you get. Everything else was great. Juat having trouble getting my mind around $110 for two plates of spegehtii and a bottle of wine.
We visited Pitrelli's for the first time on Saturday, 3/21/15. We celebrated my husband's birthday and we both commented on how nice it was and that we couldn't wait to come back another time. We made reservations for 5pm and were actually the first to be seated. Our server was very attentive and super friendly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was romantic. Very nice!!!
Family owned and operated Italian spot. Chef, Linda, even took the time to talk to our table and this allowed us to thank her for the wonderful Food. She is an amazing chef. Her husband works the front and greets the guests. Felt welcome from the moment we walked in. We were there to celebrate a best firends birthday. Great Great choice.
Pitrelli's is a best kept secret from new people! Our firs visit there was NYE 2014. In just over a year we have been there over 50 times. We now take our companies there for business meetings! The service and food is incredible! Sit in the bar for a great evening with Kenny the bartender!
We have been here several times. Due to it being Valentines day the noise level was way down as most tables were couples just like us using there low voices! Service was excellent and the food we got was excellent. Our reservation was for 6pm and we were seated immediately upon arrival. Very nice touch when my lady got roses from the waitress at the end of our meal!
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. flatbread Appetizer was good. The salad dressing was delicious, unfortunately that was the best part. The salad was made with iceberg lettuce and did not have many other vegetables, and the croutons were disappointing. I would not spend the extra money on the salad again. I love Italian food and I am always looking for that great Italian restaurant. The portions of the entrees were generous and had good flavor, but I have had better at other Italian restaurants. I would be willing to try Pitrelli's again.
Living with 10 miles of Pitrelli's, we have come to rely on our special occasion dinners here. We have never had anything less than a very good experience all the way around. Our latest dinner likely was the best meal we've eaten. My wife had the Margherita pizza and it was delicious. I had the special that evening which was a Tuscany chicken over rigatoni. We've eaten her maybe 10 times, and it was the best so far for me.
Service was timely and friendly as usual. It's always nice to chit chat with the owners who are usually there mingling/working.
Food was overpriced and just average - nothing special about it. As a party of 2 we were squished into a tiny room where you could hear EVERY WORD of every person's conversation. Absolutely no privacy. Normally I like quick service but this was so quick we felt rushed out and not able to sit and enjoy the meal. They gave us the check within 20 minutes of sitting down!
Great place! So much bigger than the old building on Route 42. My friends and I had a good time and the food was great. Only complaint was that my meatballs were dry, but the sauce was so good I hardly noticed. It was clean and well lit without being too bright. Our waitress was attentive without being intrusive.
