About Pitch Pizzeria - Dundee
Pitch is located in the historic Dundee neighborhood. Our establishment is unique in decor, drinks, menu, and staff!
Keeping up with the traditional way the first pizzas in Italy were made, our pizzas are cooked in a coal-fired oven. The menu also features seafood, hand-cut steak, housemade pastas, and a burger full of flavor! Our goal is to provide you with local, housemade, and imported ingredients. We offer a Happy Hour menu through the week. And, our bar provides an array of in-house concoctions as well as your traditional libation! Our wine selection is well-thought and most impressive!! You will enjoy Pitch!

Pitch Pizzeria - Dundee Ratings and Reviews
My friends and I had some catching up to do. I chose Pitch because we all really love their sprouts! We went for an early dinner (so we could still catch happy hour). We were sat right by the front and it was a beautiful evening. Our waitress was wonderful! That night, we had the special for the night- chicken artichoke pizza with many other toppings. It was out of this world good. Thanks Pitch for a fun start to a great night!
Everything about Pitch Pizzeria was terrific except for the "pitch" in the noise level, at least in my opinion. I don't know exactly what word I would use to describe it, but in would be somewhere in the family of horrible. It became something of a noise arms race it seemed, as one group would raise their voices in order to be heard which led the next group to raise their voices and soon and forever thereafter the noise was...to illustrate it might be best to imagine crawling into a clothes dryer, closing the door and then having a half-dozen of your friends beat on the dryer with 16 oz. metal hammers. For an hour or so. If that's your idea of vibrant and trendy exciting then, OK.
But for dining, I don't know. It really detracted from what was great food, great service and a great setting. I hate to lead with so much negativity, but don't go there with the idea you'll be able to talk to anyone at your table without including the words "Huh? What? I didn't get that.."
You should go there though. It really is that good. Shame to sacrifice that on the altar of Heyloudistres'chic.
Pitch would be great if the noise level was reduced. The difficulty is how to do that when the place is packed and people are enjoying themselves. Also, if you want to offer an different take on fried calamari make sure that it can be distinguished the the other fried item on the plate. Thank you.
Pitch is always a great experience. I highly recommend trying some of their appetizers - we love the stuffed peppadew peppers and roasted brussel sprouts. We also love pretty much any of their pizzas, our favorite is probably the Shrooms pizza. Sometimes service can be a bit slow if they get busy but otherwise a great place to go!
Pitch in Dundee is awesome. Everything on the menu is fantastic. We went there for brunch and had a hard time deciding what to order. The service is great, and have a great wine and drink menu as well. I would highly recommend Pitch to anyone looking for a fun place to enjoy some awesome pizza. Try their rosemary wings as well!
The first time we ate here the pizza was great and we selected some fantastic salads. The second time we wanted to try different flavors and ended up with pizza that had an overwhelming amount of toppings and a salad that was drenched in balsamic vinegar. Moderation would have complemented the flavors ... Probably the most overpriced pizza in town.
