Pitch Pizzeria - West Omaha
Was not impressed with the brunch. There was no kids menu for brunch items. My biscuits and gravy came out right away but still seemed cold and bland. The french toast was a small portion that my kids had to share. It was nothing special. Overall very overpriced brunch but I would probably eat here again. Dinner is much better.
Waiter was good. Food was good, but pretty pricey for what you get overall. It is always too loud in this location, I like to hear what others around me are saying not the music, especially at a Sunday brunch.
Served two raw steaks that were ordered medium. Never got to eat dinner. But at least my check was over $100 for two people.
Pizza here is fantastic. Will be back for more.
We enjoyed prior visits to Pitch but this visit is what others warned us about. The pizza crust is soggy. Prices are too high for the experience. The waitress was snotty. Didn’t even introduce the new person she was training. We were rushed in and out. $100 for a family of four sharing is ridiculous.
It was a very pleasant dining experience. It was our first visit . Our waiter was excellent . Luke took care of all our needs, was a very pleasant , cheerful ,man w a sense of humor. Luke really made our visit enjoyable! The food was good and my companion was happy w the pizza crust thickness-just right! Not too thin. Not too thick.
My shrimp entree was good but not much flavor. I would not order again. The Italian sausage pizza was tasty but the sausage was WAY TOO spicey for my taste. I would go again but order salad next time w protein addition. It was clean and attractive . Weather was a little cool. Not sure how warm the concrete environ would be on a really cold Nebraska day .
Always my go to place...never a bad experience. I left wishing I would have taken leftovers home but there were none! Not even a crumb. I ordered one of the specials that evening...honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in years. Top 5 ever. It was the Kurobuta pork short ribs with peach BBQ sauce, farro risotto and zucchini fries. I hesitated ordering it because I always order the same thing (shrooms pizza and Brussels Sprouts with pistachios and shrimp) but stepped out of my comfort zone and so happy I did!!! Better yet it was my birthday dinner with great friends! We walked out of there VERY HAPPY! Thanks Pitch!
Disappointing dinner. For a higher end restaurant you serve cans of pop? Not happy about that. We ordered numerous pizzas and the one for the kids was burnt on the bottom-as in completely black and hard. This place was too expensive for what you actually get. Doubt I will be going back.
Appetizers were excellent. Meatballs are a favorite and artichoke dip was creamy and buttery. Ordered a bottle of platinum red wine which was half price and very smooth.
The two pizzas were also excellent and more than enough for 4 people. Because the upstairs was booked for a private function, staff called to confirm my reservation and said we were allowed to stay for 1.5 hours. Then when we were seated staff again reminded our party could only stay dining for a limited time. Anyone else had that type of request from Pitch??
As always, we had amazing service, great food and drinks. A great time was had by all!
Came in town to visit and Pitch was one of my favorite places to eat when I lived here. The food, atmosphere and service is always above outstanding.
Excellent service, staff was very helpful and had good suggestions. Food and drinks were delicious too!
Celebrating a birthday
Our table was way too small for 6 people and have room for food and wine
We were there prior to heading to the play. My wife and I split a pizza and the kids had a pasta dish they had in the past. The pizza didn’t have a ton of flavor and the pasta wasn’t very good compared to what the kids had in the past.
I am never disappointed in the pizza at Pitch. We enjoy meeting there for Happy Hour when we have a pizza and a bottle of wine. Both of these can be packaged to take home to enjoy the following day. It is definitely a favorite place to enjoy good food and excellent service .
I think it's a bit overpriced but always delicious and it's a great vibe. We were celebrating our daughters birthday - she picked Pitch. The files were fantastic, brussels sprouts were good but they didn't blow me away, the tiramisu was perfect, not too sweet and served with salted caramel gelato. With zero cocktails, zero appetizers, and two splitting a meal the tab for four was still $130+. Pretty pricey so can't go as often as I'd like.
Pitch is a staple. It’s amazing.
Consistently good food - salads and pizza are always delicious. My biggest complaint is that it’s so loud that it’s hard to have a conversation. The red wine was served room temperature- too warm... couldn’t drink it.
Our server was awesome. I got there a little bit early and he was super great about it. Made sure I got the best deal for the different specials going on. Pizza was amazing. The spinach dip was comparable to abblebees... so I would not suggest, other than that it was awesome!
Our wine, salad and pizza were great. We had an excellent waiter as well.
Very fun atmosphere, outstanding food and great service! Their outdoor area is wonderful, as well.
Pitch never disappoints and I love how they have ever changing specials! So fun!
Very enjoyable but very loud in the restaurant.
Work Christmas dinner
The service and food were both very good! Enjoyed a salad, pizza and bottle of wine. Will certainly go back.
It is too noise for a romantic event or if you want to have a quiet conversation. Otherwise, the food is good and it is fun place to eat.
Managers Kat & Lacey are always very welcoming and continually check if all is going well and tastes good.
Fun place, but way too loud. Music way too loud. Food came out at different times and food was cold.
Our food and server were fantastic. Our waiter was on top of refills and clearing plates, and making sure we had everything we needed. I booked our reservation for 6 people at a high top table. When we got there, they had a small table with 5 seats and tried to add another. When I asked for the high top I booked, they did move us. The food was great but a little on the expensive side.
Our family really enjoyed the food and our server was wonderful! Friendly, helpful, and nice. We will go back again
There were 3 of us in our party. Our food was served 5-10 minutes apart and nobody working seemed to think this was a problem. We were seated at an average table at best when several were available. Mimosa was served after my food arrived. Very disappointing.
We reserved a table for 6 teenagers before their homecoming dance, service was very accommodating and attentive and they made it a special night for them!
Great food and service!
Excellent food and service! Happy hour options were a nice bonus!!
A very fun brunch spot! I would recommend Sitting on the top deck, which opened at 11 am one Sunday. It is almost fully covered in shade and very fun!
Love the meatballs, long stem artichokes and tried the fries. . oh my! All of the apps were tasty.
First impression by hostess staff luckily did not ruin our birthday celebration evening. When checking in at hostess desk, hostess "assumed" we were with a party and pointed us to a table. I was taught that hostesses should always walk you to your table regardless if other members of the party have checked in. Well she directed us to the wrong party. Then she directed us to go upstairs instead. Once upstairs, the outside doors were all open and very warm through out. Went back downstairs to same hostess asking for indoor seating on main level where it was much cooler. She rudely told me the upstairs was indoor seating. Another hostess offered to look at the main floor seating area and was able to get a table on the main level for us. Request "main floor" next time for a cooler dining experience or you might be sitting upstairs on a very warm day with the doors open.
The service was poor. We sat at our table for 15 minutes before a waiter, who wasn’t our waiter asked if we had been helped. We asked for outdoor seating and put a message in that it was our anniversary and nothing was reserved with our reservation. We were placed back in a corner. I had to track down the waiter to pay my bill.
