I was told it was free to go up to have lunch. Negative. We were charged $15 per person just to go up and have lunch. Horrible misinformation and no apologies.

This was our third visit to Piste during our 6 days on the mountain. Normally we would spread things out a little but this restaurant is so great we kept going back. Great location/atmosphere with windows all around and awesome food with very friendly service.

Great mid-mountain restaurant and the only food available on the mountain with waiter/waitress service. Make a reservation because it can get crowded but the my do a very good job of getting people in on time. Food is fabulous and service is grrat

For just a couple of bucks more than the cafeteria upstairs, you get truly foodie quality cuisine, killer service and fine beverages. Totally worth it.

The sauce for the Cornish Game hen was fabulous. It was Vadouvan curry and butter and was absolutely delicious. The brussel sprouts and butternut squash that accompanied it was fantastic as well.

Portions are extremely small and prices very high. View is spectacular when you arrive at the top of the lift but you are better served taking the trip up for a drink and the view and then returning to the base. Sitting at the back of the restaurant with NO view doesn't warrant the price/portion ratio of the food..

Piste was our best dining experience in Jackson Hole. The tram up to Piste was magical and made the experience memorable. The wine selection was first rate. Our waiter was excellent. The food servers and runners need better training. The food was seasonal, inventive in the best possible way, and delicious. I highly recommend Piste.

Our group of six all liked our meals and the wine. The mushroom pasta appetizer and the chicken main course were standouts. The salad made with all fresh local ingredients was amazing. This was a celebration of our last night in Jackson Hole and the view from this restaurant at the top of the gondola was fabulous as the sun was setting.

You pay for the view, obviously , but that should not excuse slow service or attention to details. The wine list is excusably small ( all the bottles have to be carried up mountain) but there is something for everyone. The food was well prepared and hot.
It has its place as a quality dining establishment in a ski town that has far to few but is bold step competing with the established stars in Jackson

This place was awesome. It didn’t have to be awesome because it could have easily relied on its amazing view. But for some reason, they went ahead delivered outstanding service and spectacular food. Eating here was a real treat. We’ll be back.

We decided to go to Piste due to location on the mountain and the price indicated on Open Table. When we arrived we were seated at a good table and the food was good, was a little pricey, Open table also indicated that it was priced $30 and under and there was no entree under $30. Open Table needs to fix this.

Chef Hamilton is very creative with his food combinations. The grilled asparagus and peas with the egg in the middle was fantastic.
And who would ever think of dessert with parsnip ice cream and candied parsnip strips. Amazin’!

Great food with attentive service. Waiter explained specials and offered suggestions, including cocktail and wine choice. The location makes The Bistro a coveted reservation.
We mentioned that our reservation was early because of our symphony tickets; the waiter took special attention to be certain we were served in a timely fashion, with enough time to enjoy coffee and visit the restroom before downloading.
SO enjoyable that I made another reservation for July 20 and raved so much that the number has jumped to six!
You are our #1 choice, especially for our out of town guests!
